“I don’t.”
She laughed. “Please, I was so desperate for my father’s love that I was blinded and nearly got sold for sex. Maybe this is karma for the porn I’ve watched.”
“Or maybe you’re just unlucky when it comes to your parents.”
She wanted to burst into tears. “Please tell me he is not coming to our wedding?”
“I would not have that man on my property, unless I was to kill him.”
Emily stared at him and felt her mouth go dry. “Why marry me?”
“Why not?”
“You hate my father so much and yet you’re willing to marry his only daughter. It makes no sense.”
Dom looked at her and then covered her hand with his. “You’re nothing like your father, and there is no reason to compare yourself to him.”
And that was that.
It was a lot to take in. More than she thought was possible.
So, her captor was in fact her savior.
She was not going to fall in love with him.

“You do not have to marry my daughter,” Nora said, coming out into the garden.
Dom looked at the beautiful woman, and there was no denying Nora was beautiful, but he also saw the calculating look behind those amazing eyes.
“I want to marry your daughter.”
“So you can rub it in Nigel’s face?”
“Nigel has nothing to do with this.”
Nora chuckled. “You know he is running scared.”
“This is not my problem.”
“True. Emily is not your problem, and yet we’re here in this situation. You’re going to marry Emily, and you forget that I know your true hatred for her father. You’re not planning on hurting her, are you?”
“No,” he said.
“I asked you to take care of her as a favor.”
“I am taking care of her. Do you think if I let her escape, your husband is going to allow her to go back to her life? That’s not how this works. He owes men a blonde virgin. Right now, Emily fits the bill.”
Nora looked at him with wide eyes. “You can’t be serious.”
“I am. Nigel is a lot of things and a survivor is one of them. He would trade his daughter for his own life.”
“Is that what this is about? Keeping Emily safe?” Nora asked.
“Go to your daughter, Nora. Remember, you will be leaving at the end of the night.”
Nora sighed. “Yes, I know.”
It looked like she wanted to say something more, but Dom was not interested. He wanted Emily to have a wedding to remember. He’d given her the chance to organize as much as she wanted.
She’d been the one to pick out the vanilla cake with strawberry filling and vanilla frosting. It looked delicious. She opted for the colorful flowers in so many different types that he didn’t know them all. He was not a gardener. He hired a man to take care of his landscape and garden.
Emily had also chosen a wedding dress, and it had been fitted within the past week. And most of the week, he had avoided going to bed.
The first night he slept with Emily would be the night he took her virginity. He was determined to stick to his deal, and she was so much temptation, he had to put himself out of range of touching her. He wanted her body against his. To feel her soft, supple flesh in the palms of his hands. Her full tits, ripe and heavy, ready for his mouth, or for him to press them together and get her to suck his cock. There was so much he wanted to explore.
Emily was not shy about what she wanted, and he wanted to give her everything.
The priest was standing at his station, and he already told the band that the moment they saw Emily, they were to start playing. The moment they did, he turned toward the end of the aisle. His garden had been made into the perfect place to get married. His men were there to keep an eye on the celebration and to act as witnesses.
He didn’t have any friends or business associates he wanted near Emily. She was too pure, too good to tarnish with his past, and who he was. There would be time to introduce her as his wife, but that didn’t have to be today.
He’d never considered himself a selfish man. But Emily seemed to evoke a lot of feelings within him he didn’t know he was capable of.
He watched her veiled form come toward him. Her mother walked her down the aisle, and when they got to him, he stepped forward, lifted the veil, and then stared into her shocking blue eyes.
The dress she had chosen was stunning. It molded to her breasts and waist, and seemed to flare out in a trail around the back. The bodice was molded across her breasts, and it didn’t show any cleavage, but left everything to the imagination. He was pleased it was warm, as the sleeves were thin and he didn’t want her to get cold.
