Nobody was paying attention to him at all.

Perfect. He knew just how to help soothe Andrei’s nerves and get them both on the right track again.

He left Rowe muttering and Ian exclaiming over the new dishes, and followed Andrei to find him about to step into the room Ian used for an office. Instead, he grabbed his arm, held one finger over his lips and tugged him to the end of the hall and through Ian’s bedroom.

“What the hell, Lucas?” Andrei hissed as Lucas backed him into the master bath and shut the door behind them.

“You were about to hide. I’m helping.” He turned Andrei so his butt was against the counter. Sunlight poured in from the one small window over the toilet. The room was long, the dark, marble counter inset with two rectangular sinks.

Glaring, Andrei opened his mouth and Lucas took that as an invitation and swooped in. The man’s mouth fit his like it had been made for him. He slid the fingers of both hands into Andrei’s hair, pulling it free from the rubber band. Vanilla filled his nose from the shampoo Andrei had been using. He loved the scent, the soft curls, and had a sudden flash of memory of them spilling and gliding over his belly when Andrei had taken him down his throat the night before.

Fuck, he’d never get enough of him. He could live on the man’s taste alone.

Whatever argument Andrei had been about to make seemed to burn to ash in a hot instant. Andrei groaned, opened his mouth wider, and clutched Lucas close. His large hands slid down over Lucas’s ass, massaging muscles until he got an answering moan to slip past Lucas’s lips. Then he pulled back. His breaths came hard, his eyes molten. “Trying to distract me, aren’t you?”

“Is it working?”

“Yeah,” he breathed, slanting his mouth hard back over Lucas’s.

Fire raced through his veins, building, taking over his thoughts until he forgot where they were—forgot they weren’t alone. He thrust his tongue deep into Andrei’s mouth, his breath catching when Andrei rubbed against him, then slowly rocked his hips side to side.

“Fuck!” Lucas gulped in air, his hands moving to tug on the belt around Andrei’s slacks.

Andrei sucked in a breath then went still when someone knocked on the door.

“Just a friendly warning,” Snow drawled from beyond the door, his tone dripping with amusement. “You have maybe two minutes before Ian’s tour brings the Romanian’s parents in this room.”

“Shit!” Andrei ran his hands through his hair. He aimed an accusing finger at Lucas and shook his head. “My problem is going to be pretty obvious and it’s your damn fault.”

“Also, just so you know…” Snow let his words trail off as he laughed. “This door is pretty damn thin.”

Andrei glared at the door, looking as if he wanted to throttle Snow. Lucas wasn’t oblivious to the tension that thickened in the air between the two men whenever they were in the same room together, but he didn’t have a damn clue as to how he could get rid of it. Unfortunately, now was not the time to try to figure it out. Andrei’s parents were going to be there any second and catching them in the bathroom wasn’t a great way to make a positive impression.

He pressed a quick kiss to Andrei’s lips, but stepped backward so he could resist the urge to run his hands over the man’s body. “You can sneak back downstairs. Snow and I will run interference.”

“No, I won’t,” Snow grumbled from the other side of the door.

Lucas pulled open the door and grabbed Snow by the bicep as he continued through the bedroom and toward the second-floor hall.

“Thanksgiving is always more entertaining with a game. Is this the one we’re playing this year?” Snow asked under his breath as they stepped into the office behind Ian and Andrei’s parents. “Torment the Romanian? If so, I’m ready.”

Lucas glared at him, then blinked into the sunlight streaming in from the windows over Ian’s desk. He held up his hand to block some of the glare. Ian’s small, walnut desk faced away from the windows, but the only way he’d be able to even work in this room would be with the blinds shut completely. Sonja asked about the black and white art on the walls and Ian didn’t even blush as he raved about his favorite photographer. Every print focused on male nudes in various poses, all brushed with shadows and light. Lucas had one of the artist’s pieces in his own bedroom.

Snow, standing partially behind him in the doorway, snickered. “I have lots of ideas when it comes to messing with Andrei.”

“Behave,” Lucas said on a growl.

Snow rolled his eyes. “When have you ever known me to do that?”

Lucas opened his mouth to swear, but Ian beat him to it.
