“Okay.” She turned her face toward the wall while he rubbed some kind of ointment into her folds. He even made sure to cover her tight bottom hole before pulling a diaper up between her legs and securing it.
By the time he released her and lifted her into his arms, she was calmer and exhausted. She barely managed to stand on her feet long enough for him to pull a soft nightie over her head. It was so pretty. Pink with a ruffle at the hem and on her shoulders. But she didn’t have the energy to admire it for long before she found herself snuggled against his chest.
She was almost asleep when he settled in the rocking chair and tapped her lips with a nipple. She didn’t want to take a bottle right now. She wanted to rest.
He was persistent, though. “You need the fluid and the calories, Baby girl. Nonnegotiable. I promise I’ll let you nap after you finish it.”
It was a struggle to suckle for him, but he kept her awake by repeatedly stroking her nipples. “Good girl,” he praised when it was empty.
She didn’t fight him when he replaced the bottle with a pacifier. It felt nice in her mouth, but she wasn’t sure she even suckled more than a few times before dozing off.
Fear and panic consumed her. She was in the woods again, perfectly aware she’d been here earlier. In her visions, she always knew she was having one. There was a distinct difference between one of her visions and a regular dream.
This vision was odd like the last one. She was wearing a dress. It was lavender and barely covered her bottom like all the others she’d seen on the women she knew only from these visions.
A loud roar made her heart race. It wasn’t the first one. The sound was getting closer, coming toward her. She turned and started running. She’d never been able to move in any previous vision. But that wasn’t the only thing out of the ordinary. She’d also never experienced distress before. The previous incident with a bear had scared her so badly she’d peed herself. Lord knew what would happen this time.
Why was he chasing her? What did he want? She instinctively knew he was doing exactly that. Chasing her. Playing with her? Trying to scare her? If he wanted to eat her, he could do so at any second. His bellowing from behind her indicated he was toying with her, unnerving her.
She ran harder. It was what he wanted. She looked down to see she had on pretty lavender sneakers that matched her dress. Her hair was flying around her in two thick braids, whipping her in the face.
Another roar told her he was gaining on her. She hadn’t even seen him yet. She only knew it was the bear because she knew his sound from the last vision. She didn’t know these woods. She had no idea where she was going. What if she fell down a ravine? Could she get injured in her visions?
A strange tingling sensation crawled up her spine. Her wolf. It was right at the surface. It wanted her to shift, but she didn’t know how. She hadn’t had her first shift yet. Was the bear trying to get her to shift? Why? Didn’t he know she was newly mated and hadn’t reached that stage yet?
He continued to gain on her, taunting her. His roar grew louder and louder. Urgent. Pressuring her.
She couldn’t catch her breath. She was hot and sweaty from running so hard. A dreaded sense of danger overwhelmed her, and she looked all around in front of her, trying to see what might be causing the renewed panic.
Suddenly the bear was so close she could feel him breathing down her neck. He roared again so loudly that she screamed.
Sienna bolted upright as her eyes popped open. Once again, she was in her Daddy’s arms. He was rubbing her back and saying something to her, but she couldn’t hear his soft voice over the rush of noise in her ears.
Finally, she shook off the vision.
Jayce looked terrified. She couldn’t blame him. He pulled her against his chest, breathing heavily. “Fuck. You’re going to kill me, Little one.”
Sweat ran down her brow. Her nightie was soaked as if she’d actually been running instead of simply imagining it. Her diaper was soaked, too, which unnerved and infuriated her. But that wasn’t the most pressing issue right now.
Jayce leaned her back a few inches. “Do you usually have the visions when you’re sleeping?”
“No. Never.” She kept panting, exhausted from running so hard as if it had been real.
“Was it a nightmare?”
She shook her head. “No, it was a vision. I don’t know how I know the difference, but I do.”
“Can you tell me about it, Baby girl?”
