He’d wanted to make his father a liar by shaming him one more time.

That was how it had started.

“That wasn’t the only reason,” Rory said before David could ask. “The impulse? I’d wanted to kiss you all day. The entire wedding I was second-guessing myself, wondering why I’d invited the two of you to the most romantic fucking gay love-fest this town had ever seen. I decided it was pure masochism on my part, because what I wanted wasn’t possible.”

“I liked being invited,” Rig offered quietly. “I can’t believe this is the same living room.”

Rory met David’s warm gaze as it hit them both. The fact that they were steps away from the scene of the crime. From that kiss that changed everything.

“I wanted to kiss you, and Elder gave me a reason, but even so, I should have avoided it. It wasn’t worth pushing you away.”

David stared at his lips as if he couldn’t help himself. As if he found Rory physically attractive.

As if he wanted him.

Rory used to secretly envy Brady’s size and masculinity, Solomon’s height and Owen’s athletic talents. Used to lament his “pretty” features and wiry physique. But he’d taken a strange comfort in the fact that he was a master at fucking and everything that led up to the main event.

Sex wasn’t that hard to excel at after he learned the secret. If it felt good, he would do it. If it felt bad? He would try that too. There was no wrong time or place for a good lay, no position or number of partners he’d shy away from.

Until recently that had been enough.

Now none of his experience meant a damn thing. All he wanted was to hear the ragged sound David made when he’d parted his lips in invitation. The way he’d rocked his hard body against him and sucked on Rory’s tongue as though he were dying for it.

The same way Rig must have sucked on his.

Years of repressed longing expanded inside him, killing all possibility of rational thought. David wanted him. He couldn’t deny the dilated pupils or the short, panting breaths. The rapid pulse at the base of his throat that Rory wanted to feel with his tongue. The growing bulge between his legs. David didn’t have a girlfriend, claimed to be bisexual and had already kissed two men…and he wanted him.

Was he really considering this? There were so many reasons this was a bad idea. So many ways it could go wrong. Nothing in his life was more important than their friendship. Nothing.

If he kept repeating that, maybe he wouldn’t fuck this next part up.

“Can I ask a question now?” Rory rasped, sensing more than seeing Rig move closer to the two of them.

“It is your turn.”

“I was upset when Rig told me what you’d done together,” he started, seeing David flinch. “Upset is an understatement, but I was just as upset with myself for not being part of it.”

David sent a quick glance to Rig before staring at Rory’s lips again. “Was that a question?”

Rory shook his head. “What I want to know is if you’re both sure we could still be friends if I asked for a repeat performance? If I wanted to watch Rig take you in his mouth and make you come, would that be too much to ask?” He never looked away from Rory as he spoke to Rig. “Is that honest enough for you, Anthony?”

“Oh yeah.”

David made a noise in the back of his throat. “You’d be okay with that, Roar?”

“Oh, David.” Rory studied him with heavy lidded eyes. “I’d be in charge of that.”

“Answer him,” Rig said, his voice gravelly with desire. “It’s more than okay on my end.”

David nodded. “Fuck yes. I mean…” He shook his head helplessly. “Of course we’ll still be friends. Yes to anything. I mean everything. Whatever you asked.”

This is crazy. They can’t promise this won’t change things again. That it won’t be too much.

Rory couldn’t listen to reason right now. This had been building for too long. Simmering beneath every breath, every look and every moment they’d had together since that damn wedding.

Longer.

He met Rig’s black stare and realized he’d known where this was going all along. So had Rory, which was why he’d been trying to fight it.

Rory might be going to hell, but it wasn’t going to happen tonight. “Take off your clothes. Both of you.”

David swore under his breath, but reached behind him to tug off his t-shirt without asking twice. Rig did the same. Rory watched as they shed their pants, both of them still in their boxers as they waited for further instruction.

God help him, they were glorious specimens. Rig was rippling with swollen muscle, his chest matted with dark hair and his face flushed with desire. David was lean and smooth and lickable, his chest rising rapidly with an excitement he didn’t try to conceal.
