He reached up like I told him and pressed his hands against the headboard. I stopped trying to assess what I felt and drove into him so hard he slid along the bed.

I fucked him mercilessly, and he writhed under me, begging for more. His cock was so hard it looked painful, and a puddle of precum had formed on his abdomen.

“You’re going to come again, aren’t you?”

“I… I don’t know.”

“You are.” I took his cock in my hand, gripping it so tightly it had to hurt, but all he did was moan and whimper and try to lift his hips. “That’s it. So good. So fucking perfect.”

“Yes. Oh, fuck yes.”

His body jerked as he came, and his ass tightened around my cock, squeezing me until I couldn’t hold back anymore. I let go of his cock when he was done, braced myself on the bed, and rammed into his ass, once, twice. Stars flashed across my vision, and I came harder than I ever had. I wished I was bare so Emilio could feel my cum in him, feel me marking him as mine.

I hung over him, trying to catch my breath. When I opened my eyes, he was staring up at me.

“W-was that real? Because I feel like I’m floating right now.”

I smiled at him. “Then I did my job.”

“You… That was…”

“Incredible. You are everything.”

“No, I…”

“Yes, you are,” I said as I slid from the bed feeling more wobbly than if I’d run twenty miles.

“Where are you going?”

I hated the concern on his face. “Don’t worry. I’m just going to get you some water and something to eat. What’s your favorite snack?”

“I doubt you have it here.”

“Tell me, and I’ll see.”

“Ruffles cheddar and sour cream potato chips or ice cream. I love ice cream.”

The dreamy way he said that made me want to wrap him in my arms and never let go. “What kind?”

“Cookies and cream is the best.”

“I’ll see what we have.”

“I can come with you.”

I shook my head as I pulled on a robe. “No, stay right there.” He deserved to enjoy the afterglow, and I needed some time to process what had just happened because that had definitely not been just sex.

Being with a man hadn’t freaked me out at all. Fucking Emilio was incredible, but falling in love… The thought made my stomach feel like it was doing flip-flops. It was worse than when I was about to jump out of a plane, and I fucking hated those jumps.

Maybe a few minutes away where I couldn’t touch Emilio would give me a chance to breathe. I needed sanity to return. Surely I was just caught up in the moment with him, a really powerful moment that wasn’t like anything I’d had with anyone else.

Emilio

I lay back and stared at the ceiling while I waited for X. I wasn’t sure if I was hungry or not. I wasn’t really sure about anything. My head felt like it was full of cotton. I doubted I could write even the simplest code right then. Had X literally fucked my brains out?

I blew out a long breath. When I’d fantasized about X, I thought my imagination had conjured up the perfect man, and no real man could live up to that ideal. I’d been wrong. The real X was even better than my fantasy version. He was more commanding, more intense, more everything. I had no idea sex could be so good. No wonder some people were addicted to it.

If we weren’t trying to track down JW, his associates, and my enemies all while trying not to get killed, I’d beg to spend the rest of the trip in X’s bed. I’d stay with him as long as he wanted me there.

I must have dozed for a bit because when I heard X coming up the stairs, I glanced at my phone and saw half an hour had passed, longer than it should have taken him—though for all I knew his kitchen was that huge and held thousands of snacks.

“How did you do it?” I asked when I realized the tray he was carrying held my favorite chips and bowls of my favorite ice cream. If we were back in Boston, I would have assumed he’d sent someone to get them, but there weren’t any grocery stores or stores of any kind on his island. “There’s no way you sailed to St. Croix and back. You didn’t have time, and you’re basically naked.” He’d only slipped on his underwear before leaving the room.

“It just so happens that cookies and cream is also my favorite ice cream, and Lane is obsessed with these chips, so Henrietta started stocking them after he came for a visit.”

It shouldn’t be a big deal that we had the same favorite ice cream. It wasn’t even an unusual flavor, but it made my chest flutter anyway. I had assumed X and I had nothing in common except a desire to bring the worst of the worst to justice.
