With that, my brother stalks to the door, but before he leaves, he casts a gaze over at my pet. “See you soon, little one.” Then he’s gone.

“Your brother is a bit…”

Dragging my eyes to hers, I wait for her words, but she stalls.

“Tell me something, Raina.”

Her gaze flits to mine as I unbutton my suit jacket and settle in my office chair.

“How did you feel last night when you realized I left the bar with your wet panties in my pocket?” The question earns me the exact response I wanted, a deep rosy color on her cheeks.

“I… Uhm…” The way she stumbles over her words is adorable. I want to train her how to be more confident, but still as submissive as she is now.

“Did you lie in bed last night imagining me stroking my cock with them? Perhaps inhaling your sweet, musky scent from them?” I quip and the color on her face deepens. To have that hue on her ass in the shape of my hand is so tempting.

“I didn’t… I mean… You’re so unfair.” Pink lips pout as she regards me with that sassiness that’s drawn me to her. So fucking innocent and tempting. I want to ruin her, break her, and put her pieces back together. To mend her in such a way that will leave her the perfect woman. The only problem is, I’ll have to let her go once our six months are up, and I don’t know if I’ll be able to do it.

“Raina.” Rising, I make my way toward her desk. Each step closer allows her scent to intensify, the sweet scent of flowers and candy. “Look at me. Meet my eyes and tell me if you’re wet right now.” Her lips part on a soft gasp and she nods. “Words. I need you to vocalize your needs, wants, and aches.”

“Yes, sir. I’m wet.”

“Good girl,” I murmur and her body trembles in response. So fucking perfect. More so than any trained slave I’ve had. With that, I turn and leave her in the office. As soon as the door shuts, I smirk, heading toward Matteo’s wing to talk to him about setting up a meeting when the new shipment of weapons arrives. It will give her time to calm down, and it will allow me a moment to get rid of this hard-on.

The office door is ajar when I reach it. Pushing it all the way open, I find my brother with a dark-haired girl on her knees before him. “Can you not close the door and lock it?”

The pretty girl gasps in shock, but my brother as always is unperturbed.

“Thank you, kitten. You can leave now,” he murmurs, stroking her hair. She rises quickly on her four-inch heels and rushes through the door. Tucking himself back in his suit pants, he shrugs. “She was hungry. I had to do something about it.”

“You mean you needed to get your dick sucked by… who was that?”

He doesn’t meet my glare when he answers, “A girl I met two days ago. She’s working at the warehouse counting.”

“You’re fucking our staff?” I hiss, but he shakes his head.

“Our supplier’s staff.”

“No wonder Zafretti is refusing to pay. He probably thinks you getting your dick wet is payment enough. This ends here. You want pussy, get it somewhere that doesn’t involve our business.” My anger fuels me. It always does. When I meet my brother’s gaze, he nods.

“I fucked up. It won’t happen again,” he acknowledges, slipping into the expensive leather seat. “What did you need?”

“Set up a meeting with Russo. I want to get this deal done in six months. I want him behind bars where he belongs, or six feet under, preferably the latter. After that, I want to go home. Back to Sicily where this shit is far from our familia.”

“You really want to go home?” He sounds surprised. When I was younger, I loved what we did. I enjoyed the hits we took out. I wanted to see the blood dripping from my hands. Now, I want more. I crave a normal life. Granted, there will always be the organization I run, but I don’t want to be on the front line anymore. My time has come where I take a back seat and allow the younger members to take their place, earning their keep.

“Matteo, it’s time I took on the role as mentor. This”—I wave my hand around his office, the weapons that adorn one wall have no allure for me anymore. The blades that my brother loves to wield so elegantly are no longer what I crave—“is not me. Not anymore.”

“Are you going soft since you met the little blonde?” He chuckles, sitting back. He regards me with curiosity only my baby brother can muster.

“She is of no concern to you. Focus on your work. We need to make sure things run smoothly for the next six months. My personal life is mine.”
