The collar of her robe halts my progress, so I switch to her face, capturing her lips with mine. She tongues me back, deeply, ravenously. She missed me, too.

Her cap falls as I tip her head back for better access. Around my fingers, her cunt clutches me, draws me in. Her walls flutter like butterfly wings. My cock surges against its fine wool restraints, wanting to be inside of her.

I press the heel of my hand against the bone of her sex. She pushes against the pressure, wanting more, needing more. Lust and desire roll through her. Her hand pulls me closer as she rides my fingers. Blood pounds in my ears. “Keep going. I’ve got you. Fall for me, angel. You know you want it.”

“Yes, oh, please.”

I slam into her, hard and fierce. I kiss and suck and thrust as she shakes and shudders in my grasp. Pleasure seizes her, roiling up her frame and expending in my hand. I capture her mouth again to swallow the sharp cry of delight that she releases when her orgasm comes. I rub her back in large soothing circles, and my deep kisses turn to tender ones.

When she surfaces from her orgasm, I’m treated with a groan.

“My panties are wet.” She makes a face.

“No worries here.” I fist the band of her panties and snap the elastic. “Problem solved.” I dangle the torn fabric between us. When she tries to snatch it from my hand, I swiftly pocket it and press a hard kiss against her mouth. “No wet panties.”

“I cannot walk across that stage with the breeze blowing between my legs.”

“You can and you will.” I give her another kiss before backing away. I can hear her friend approaching as she chats with Beau. Using a handkerchief from my suit coat, I clean off her delicate liquids from my hand before picking up her hat from the table where it fell when I first kissed her. Dusting off the mortarboard, I sneak in one more quick kiss before placing the cap on her head and adjusting her gown. “Perfect. You don’t look like I just finger-fucked you.”

Lila turns bright red and hits my arm. “You’re a menace.”

The door bursts open, and Beau saves me from further punishment. I draw my boy close to my side and give Lila’s friend, Ann, a nod of hello. Lila met Ann in her first class in college. They’d become fast friends. She too had a bunch of college courses under her belt from high school and planned to tackle her degree in three years. The same as Lila. Ann was often over at our place for their cram sessions. Ann was good for Lila, and as much as I didn’t want to share her, I knew she needed friends.

“I asked Ann to wait for me.”

Ann turns the same shade as Lila. “I’m too old for you, Beau. You should be dating kids your own age.”

“Don’t wanna.” He folds his arms across his chest. “Drix says age is just a number.”

Lila starts coughing, and I have to stare at the ceiling for a good thirty seconds to keep my laughter in.

“I do say that,” I acknowledge once I have myself under control. Now I’m starting to understand why Beau was always hanging around them when they were studying.

“See?” Beau puts his chin up. “I know what I want, and Drix says—”

“Okay, Beau, why don’t you lead us to the graduation hall so we aren’t late for the ceremony,” Lila says, interrupting him. As he’s being dragged into the hallway by Lila, he calls over his shoulder, “Don’t hook up with another guy cuz I’ll have to end him.” He makes a cutting gesture across his throat.

Lila says something I can’t hear, but Beau’s response is clear. “I can’t lie to her, Lila. That’s no way to start a relationship.”

This time I can’t keep my laughter in. Ann shakes her head at me. “You two have lost it.”

“He’s serious, Ann. You better be prepared.” I wipe the tears away from my eyes and hold out my arm. “The Mason men believe in love at first sight, and nothing in the world will ever change their minds, especially not a pesky thing like age.” Like father, like son. A wide grin settles on my face. Ann will learn, just like Lila did. A Mason man is steadfast, loyal, and persistent. They know what they want and won’t settle for anything less.

EPILOGUE

LILA

MANY YEARS LATER

I run my fingers through Hunter’s short hair as he sleeps. He’s all tuckered out from his birthday party today. He went and turned three on me. Time flies. I swear it was only yesterday that Drix was in full panic mode as he rushed me to the hospital to give birth.

Hunter ended up being a week overdue, but the second he was ready to finally come out and labor hit me, he made his entrance into the world only a few hours later. He really is just like his father. Took him a bit to come around to the idea of coming out, but once he made up his mind, it was all or nothing.
