“Gotcha,” Vex picked it up.
“Vex! Please.”
“Perhaps this is something we need to open together in private?” he asked. He nodded at three more MC members standing in the doorway, ready to make her furniture disappear.
Anything would be better than this. Angel agreed quickly. “Yes, please.” When Vex nodded and pivoted to carry the box somewhere, she said quickly, “Would you come down here to help me before you take that away?”
Vex shook his head as if wondering what he’d gotten himself into and lowered himself to his knees on the carpet. Mortified, she pointed under the bed. Vex lowered his chest to the floor and spotted the item. He turned to look at her with amusement etched into his features.
“Just get it,” she hissed.
Chuckling, he grabbed the massive adult device and pulled it from under the bed. The jingle bell sounded so loud to her ears. Angel flipped the box on its side and opened one flap for him to hide the outlandish thing inside.
“This is too big to fit in that small hole,” Vex told her as he sat up.
Angel snatched the silicon shaft out of his hand and thrust it headfirst into the box. “There. Thank you.”
“Good technique, Baby girl,” he whispered.
“Daddy!’ she protested.
“All right, guys. You can take the bed apart now. Problem managed,” Vex called to the guys, who immediately entered.
Vex rose and held a hand down to help Angel up. He grabbed the box and led her out of the room. He pulled her close and hugged her with one arm and kissed her temple. “You’re fine. I’m sorry you have T-Rex arms,” he teased.
Somehow the image of herself flapping totally out of proportion limbs changed the whole situation from mortifying to hilarious. She giggled and hid her face against Vex’s hard chest. He squeezed her tighter and dropped a kiss on the top of her head.
“There’s my Baby girl,” he said, encouraging her.
“I’m never going to be able to look at them again,” Angel told him.
“You will. This box is off-limits to you. Daddy’s in charge of your pleasure.”
“Okay,” she whispered, studying the floor, wishing the ground would split and swallow her up.
“The other Little girls are on your balcony. Want to go hang out with them, and we’ll take care of this?”
She seized upon that escape plan. Opening the sliding glass door, she burst out onto the raised balcony overlooking the parking lot. Winnie, Caroline, and Honey sat on the concrete. They scooted over to give her space to join them.
“So… What jingled?” Caroline asked.
“Oh my God! That was so embarrassing. Thank goodness you warned me,” Angel shared with the group, avoiding the question.
“Good try. Tell us. Otherwise, we’ll come up with something awful—like an octopus tentacle with a bell on the tip,” Winnie suggested.
“Wouldn’t that hurt?” Honey asked.
A moment of silence descended before everyone burst into laughter. The sliding door opened. Razor looked out at them.
“Everything okay out here?” he asked.
“Oh, yes, Daddy. We were talking about how rubbery calamari is. It made us laugh,” Honey explained quickly, avoiding everyone’s gaze.
Angel held her breath, looking across the parking lot to distract herself from Honey’s excuse. The moment the door closed, the entire group exploded with laughter. “Calamari, Honey? Really?”
“I like to stick close to the truth. Tentacle, rubbery—calamari,” Honey said.
“Stop!” Winnie demanded, holding her sides. “I’m going to wet my pants. Daddy will put me in a diaper for the rest of the day.”
Angel noticed Winnie’s cheeks turned pink almost immediately, and her new friend focused on her own crossed legs. Angel guessed Winnie had spoken so candidly because she was used to intimate conversations with Caroline and Honey.
“It must be incredible to have someone love you that much to take such great care of you,” Angel said, forcing herself to be brave. “I didn’t know Little girls actually existed until Vex rescued me.”
“We said that!” Caroline chimed in. “I’d read a bunch of books and thought age play was a fantasy.”
Honey nodded, “Me too.”
Winnie peeked up, looking at Angel. “Can I ask if you’re Little?”
This time, Angel’s cheeks had to be pink. “I’m not sure how to judge that. I love how Vex takes care of me. I love my nursery. Are there any rules for who is Little and who isn’t?”
“You’re Little,” Caroline said with a smile. She leaned forward on her knees to hug Angel. “If there are guidelines, we don’t know them, and I really don’t care about them if someone randomly decided a bunch of stuff.”
“Right! What’s important is how you feel,” Honey said.
“Can I ask you some questions? I’ve never had anyone to talk to about this,” Angel said.
“Fire away. We all pick each other’s brains. Just remember what’s right for you, or for you and your Daddy, may be different for others,” Winnie said, and the others nodded.
