Damn. His sister was hot as hell. But then, so was his twin, since he was a mirror image of Dayne. The slight difference between the two were their haircuts and Dylan had some very short facial hair. Then, as for the other two with Dylan…
A quick glance at Dayne showed that his lover was watching him closely while fighting a grin.
Busted.
“She’s in charge of all the food for the resort,” Dayne finished.
Danica turned to face where they all stood by the large rustic kitchen table. “By the way, I didn’t eye—”
“Save it, sis,” Dayne cut her off, sounding amused.
“Well, I was surprised. It’s usually a harem of wom—”
“Save it!” Dayne shouted, again, cutting her off.
Heath wasn’t the only one smothering a chuckle in the room. “Pleasure to meet you, Danica. I have to say, for an all-inclusive resort, your food is top notch. I hope you don’t mind me joining your family this morning for breakfast.”
“We’re used to it,” came from Dayne’s twin.
“That’s my brother Dylan. The second D in Double D.”
Heath glanced over at Danica. “But there’s three of you.”
“That’s what I said,” Dani griped.
Dayne shook his head impatiently. “Anyway, that’s Ford and Erin, Dylan’s balls and chain.”
“Ha ha, as funny as ever,” Dylan scoffed.
“Nice to meet you all. I don’t mean to intrude.”
Ford finished pulling out creamer and milk from the fridge and placed them on the table. “Believe me, you’re not. Like Dylan said, this is a common occurrence.” He frowned. “Though, he hasn’t had a constant parade of…guests joining us lately.” His lips twitched. Once Ford’s hands were free, he jutted one out and Heath shook it. “I’m the resort’s Facilities Manager. Erin here is the Guest Services Manager.”
He shook a smiling Erin’s hand next. “Pleasure.”
“Same,” she responded. “Have a seat. I’ll grab another place setting.” She glanced at Dayne. “Unless someone else will be joining us?”
“No. Only Heath this weekend.”
Dylan raised an eyebrow. “And the other one we discussed?”
“She couldn’t make it. Hopefully soon.”
Dayne discussed him and Cara with his brother? He tucked that interesting tidbit away to ask about later. In private.
“Is that your G90 out front?” Ford asked next.
“Yes,” Heath answered.
“Sweet car.”
“It is, and it gets me here from Hoboken in record time.”
Dani carried a plate of sausages over to the table and set it in the center. “Hoboken, huh?”
“I was lucky to find a resort within driving distance.”
Erin arranged the extra place setting on the table. “You mean this type of resort.” She flipped a hand toward the chair, indicating he should sit.
He did. “Of course.”
“I’m glad you found it worthwhile,” she continued. “We do our best to make it an experience that guests would like to repeat.”
Danica snickered as she brought a platter of Belgian waffles over the table. “You might want to chalk this returning guest up to something other than my food and the amenities, Erin.”
“I’ll take credit,” Dayne boasted, pulling out the chair next to Heath and settling in it.
“Thanks for helping, brother,” Danica said smartly.
“You’re welcome!”
“We’ll clean up,” Heath assured Dayne’s sister. “You weren’t expecting an extra mouth to feed this morning.”
“Untrue. Like I said, when the door opens from Dayne’s wing, we usually expect a hoard of hungry, horny guests following him out like the Penis Pied Piper. Coming out alone or with only one person is not the norm.”
“Thank you for that,” Dayne said.
“Own it,” Danica replied back.
“He’s been quite open about his past encounters,” Heath assured her.
“Really,” Dylan murmured.
“I’m also not stupid. Or jealous,” Heath continued. “I understand why he’d take advantage of owning this resort.”
“So understanding,” Danica muttered under her breath.
Dayne clapped his hands together sharply. “Okay! Let’s eat! And not talk with our mouths full, shall we?”
Everyone at the table, except Dayne and Heath, snorted at his irritation.
“I cannot wait until your house is done and I only have to deal with Dani.”
“Who said we won’t stop in every morning for breakfast? You think we’d miss this great food and even better sibling bonding time?”
Chapter Twenty
Dayne noticed Heath’s eyes flick between the door through which Dylan had disappeared and him.
“What I wouldn’t do to be sandwiched between you two.”
They were now blissfully alone in the kitchen and on clean-up duty, since Heath promised Dani they’d take care of it.
He assured Heath, “That’ll never happen.” Once Dayne rinsed a dirty dish or utensil, he handed it to Heath to place in the dishwasher.
“Of course not, but at least let me have this fantasy for a few seconds, will you?”
Simply thinking about sharing a lover with his twin churned Dayne’s stomach. He shook his head. “What about Cara?”
“She’s welcome to join us.”
Dayne snorted. “I prefer not to have sex with my brother in the vicinity, thank you very much.”
“Understandable. It would probably be like peering in a mirror.”
“Only this ‘reflection’ wouldn’t have the tattoo and dick piercing.” He handed Heath the last plate. “Do you have siblings?”
