I moaned when Axel hooked my leg over his shoulder and pressed the flat of his tongue against my slit before he lightly sucked on my clit. “Fuck yes,” Julian moaned, sliding his hand under my shirt to palm my breast. He covered my lips with his as his other hand wrapped around me, holding me to him as my leg began to shake.

I gasped as Axel began to tongue fuck me. Julian took that moment to slip his tongue in my mouth and deepen the kiss as he lightly pinched my nipple and rolled it between his fingertips.

The doorbell rang, and Julian pulled back from me, a wicked smirk on his lips. “I want the delivery guy to hear her screaming, Axel.”

Axel smirked. “Challenge accepted.”

“What—Oh, fuck.” I cried out when Axel abruptly stood up and slid deep inside of me. He lifted me onto the counter and began to fuck me hard and fast. His hand wrapped around the side of my neck, and his other hand pushed my thighs further apart so he could go deeper.

Julian got his wish. I had no doubt the fucking neighbors could hear me.

I smiled down at Axel as he scrubbed my feet. “You guys really don’t have to do this for me,” I told them as Julian rubbed his hands over my belly.

Julian shrugged. “Don’t care, baby girl. We’re doing it anyway.”

I looked back down at Axel. “Any news on your sister?” I asked him.

He shrugged. “She’s stable, if that’s what you’re asking. Otherwise, nothing much has changed. Dr. Gresham is still trying to get her to open up, but she’s being stubborn as fuck about it. He’s predicting Julian’s football season will be over with by the time she’s able to be released from the center.”

I frowned. “Will there be a time for you to visit her soon?”

He released a sigh as he shook his head. “No, unfortunately. Dr. Gresham said she’s not going to be ready for a while—at least not until she begins responding to him and allowing him to help her.”

“Axel,” I called softly, drawing his mesmerizing dark eyes up to mine, “I’m sorry she has to go through this, and I’m sorry that you have to as well.”

Axel gave me a small smile. “You would be so good for her if she would just allow you near her.”

I swallowed thickly, my smile falling from my face. “I don’t think that’s going to happen,” I told him softly, regret tinging my words.

Julian’s arms flexed around me, his body tensing beneath me. “What happened?” Julian demanded.

I cast my eyes to my lap. “She thinks I’m a slut for being with both of you,” I quietly told them.

“You’re not a fucking slut,” Axel angrily snapped. “If we didn’t know about each other and consent to this, then yes, you could be labeled as one. But we do know about each other. Fuck, Meghan, we fucking are with you together sometimes. Don’t ever let anyone make you feel like you’re a slut. You are ours just as we are yours.”

I drew in a breath. “I tried to defend my actions to her,” I told them.

Julian pressed his lips to my temple. “That’s my goddess,” he praised, his body relaxing again.

“Shocks me that you can still want the best for her despite her attacking you twice and calling you a slut,” Axel said with a shake of his head.

“Because I know what she’s going through, Axel,” I reminded him. “When I was admitted, for the first couple of months, I didn’t want to respond. I was in this dark ass pit, and the fucking seal was over the top. I didn’t know which way to go, where to turn, nor how to climb out. Every time I tried to climb out of it, my feet slipped, and I would fall right back down on my ass.”

“What finally gave you a reason to fight?” Julian asked me.

“Axel,” I said quietly. Axel lifted his eyes from my feet, his dark eyes locking on my own, surprise lighting them up. Tears welled in my eyes. “The first time he visited me, he told me there was a light at the end of my dark tunnel, and that you would be there waiting on me.” I swallowed thickly as a tear trickled slowly down my cheek. “And when I could finally see that light, Axel was waiting at the end with you. His visits gave me so much strength to allow Dr. Gresham to help me. He gave me the push I needed.”

“I told you it was time to be your own hero,” he told me, clearly remembering the day as well as I did.

“And you told me I had to fight.”

He smiled at me. “You are the most beautiful fighter I’ve ever seen in my life, sweet girl.” Julian pressed a kiss to my temple. “His goddess and my fighter. That’s what you are, Meghan.”
