“Your suggestion makes me think of that time we went to LA for your business meeting,” Andrei said. He sounded calm, but B could see his reflection in the mirror. The man’s eyes were narrowed and watching Lucas, a wicked grin on his face. “We’d made plans to go sightseeing, but we didn’t get out of the hotel after you completed your meeting.”

Lucas hummed. “Nice hotel. Great whirlpool tub.”

“I was rather fond of that large cushioned ottoman in front of the wall of mirrors,” Andrei said.

“Would you rather we go to LA? Go back to that hotel. For old times’ sake?”

B found himself holding his shears away from Andrei’s hair, breath held, as he waited for Andrei’s answer. His mind was already swirling with so many dirty ideas of what happened in that LA hotel.

“No,” Andrei replied at last. “I’m sure New York will have everything we need.”

“Evil men,” B muttered.

Andrei laughed. “What was that?”

“Oh, you heard me,” B snapped. “You’re both evil, evil men. Talking about sexy romantic escapes when I’m not going to see Ricky until tonight. A person can take only so much hotness without relief before he combusts.”

Andrei laughed again and B was surprised that even Lucas chuckled. “Does your man take good care of you?”

“Mmm…you know he does, or he’s not going to keep all this decadent goodness,” B purred. “Of course, it’s not all whisking me off for fabulous weekends in New York, but he brings me lunch or dinner when he’s on his way to work. And tonight, he’s offered to make dinner for me in my apartment.”

“Hold on to him, B. He sounds like a good one,” Andrei advised.

B sighed dramatically before leaning down to put his head against Andrei’s temple. “Well, since you seem set on sticking with Lucas and refuse to run away with me…” B paused and batted his eyes at Andrei in the mirror.

“He’s mine, B. He’ll always be mine,” Lucas said firmly with so much warmth and love. Andrei reached across and wrapped his fingers around Lucas’s forearm as Cynthia continued to work on his nails.

“Sorry, B. Not going anywhere.”

B sighed again but winked at Andrei in the mirror as he straightened. “It’s as I thought. It’s okay. Ricky is doing a good job of taking care of me.” Not to mention he had an amazing body that kept B from ever wanting to get out of bed.

He continued with the trim, making sure he only took off what was needed from the length to keep it just above Andrei’s shoulders. He really did have amazing hair—thick and rich, with a wonderfully silky quality. B could totally understand Lucas’s love affair with it. The only thing was that Andrei had these fabulous cheekbones, a sexy jaw, and seductive dark eyes. If Lucas would just let B cut Andrei’s hair, he could really bring out these stunning features.

But Lucas got his way, and Andrei seemed only too happy to humor his husband. B had little doubt that if Andrei truly wanted to cut his hair, it would happen. Sure, Lucas might grumble and pout, but he didn’t seem the type to deny Andrei anything that was within his power to give.

That was love, though. B had been Lucas’s stylist before the man met Andrei, and it was amazing to watch the change that came over him once he’d claimed Andrei as his. B worked on plenty of gruff and cold men, so it hadn’t been a surprise that Lucas was like that at all.

But the moment Andrei became a part of his life, Lucas opened up and relaxed at last. Even though B saw them for only a short time every five weeks, it was hard to miss that Lucas laughed a little easier now. Teased a little more. Showed his love for Andrei freely.

It took just a few more minutes to get Andrei’s hair trimmed and styled while Cynthia finished up with Lucas’s hands and face. They talked about random things, though most of it kept coming back to their little daughter.

Somehow, he managed to get them out the door on time. B rushed over and got himself another coffee.

“Oh, my God!” Cynthia exclaimed in a loud whisper. “They are so freaking adorable together.”

“And hot.”

Cynthia did a little wiggle that had B smirking at her. “Yes. So hot.”

B chortled. “You ain’t seen nothin’ yet, girlfriend.”

Chapter Three

B topped off his coffee with a splash of vanilla creamer and settled into his chair. He only had a few minutes until the next couple arrived for their wedding haircuts. He sipped the hot brew and smiled at the memory of Andrei and Lucas flirting with each other. It had been so damn hot. He still tripped out over the Lucas Vallois being married to a man, though he’d always had his suspicions about him.
