We stay up late in the night discussing our plans. As much as I love my job at Curvy Cuties, I love Bender more.

In the end, we decide that Bender will fly home with me while I try to work everything out. I’ll talk to Jenna and see if there’s any way I can work remotely.

If everything goes as planned, I’ll move to Silver Spoon Falls with my rockstar boyfriend. A little voice in the back of my head whispers, hopefully, he’ll decide to become my Rockstar husband.

The thought of living close to my older brothers makes me happy, but it all depends on my friend’s reaction. Telling the cuties that I plan to move to Texas will suck, but I have no doubt that they’ll understand. We’ll make it work somehow.

“Are you okay?” Bender hands me a travel mug of black gold.

I nod my head yes and take a sip of my coffee. “Thank you.” I stand on my tiptoes and place a kiss on his cheek. His dark brown, rough goatee hair tickles my face.

“I love you.” As he kisses me, all my worries fly out the window.

“I love you, too,” I tell him and reach for my purse. “I’ll call you and let you know how it goes.” Today is the day. I’m heading into the office to meet with my girls. I sent a group chat last night asking if they would all come in to meet with me. We all keep different work schedules, and I didn’t want to wait for everyone to be in at the same time.

“I cannot believe you made me get up at six-thirty a.m.” Maddie drops her computer bag on the conference table. “This better be important. I need at least eight hours of beauty sleep,” she grumbles and reaches for my coffee mug.

After taking a huge sip of my coffee, Maddie sits back and watches Jenna walk in and place her coffee cup on the table. “I’m so happy to have you home.” Jenna leans over to hug me. “I know it was just a week, but it felt like much longer.”

My heart sinks. This will be harder than I thought.

Once Emery and Piper, the real night owls, come stumbling in and take their seats, I blow out my breath and blurt out, “I met someone.”

They all start talking at the same time, and I sit back and wait until Jenna finally has enough. “Give her a chance to talk. Sheesh.”

As I look around the table, I shrug. “I’m moving to Silver Spoon Falls to live with Bender Valentine.”

I blink several times as Piper begins to laugh. “Come on. What’s really going on?”

“Hold up.” Jenna shushes her best friend before turning to me. “Are you freaking serious?”

“As a heart attack.” I shrug.

“Holy cow.” Emery’s eyes almost bulge out of her head. “You snagged the hottest rockstar in the world?” She doesn’t have to act like it’s so unbelievable.

“He’s one of Cash’s MC brothers.” I sigh. “It just happened.” They all stare at me with wide eyes as I explain what I’ve been up to the last week. I tell my best friends everything, leaving out the part where Bender played my body like a well-tuned instrument.

“Are you sure he feels the same way?” Maddie has always been the most cautious of us.

“I have no doubt,” I reassure her. “This is the real thing. Like what Jenna has with Wild, and what Emery has with Marco.” Maddie’s shoulders relax, and she gives me a sad smile.

“Fudge my life,” Jenna complains. “I did this. If I hadn’t made you go to that interview, I wouldn’t be losing my bestie.”

“Hey.” Piper smacks her arm. “For one thing, I’m your bestie, and for another, we’re not losing her.” Then she looks at me with a raised eyebrow. “Right?”

“Right,” I agree. “I was hoping Jenna would let me work remotely. And I’ll come to visit you guys often. Oh, and you guys can come to Silver Spoon Falls to visit me.”

The phone on the middle of the table buzzes before our secretary’s voice comes through the intercom. “Uh,” Lou stutters, “You won’t believe this. Bender Valentine is standing in front of my desk asking for London.”

“Send him in.” I smile. Seeing my hunky rockstar in person will show my friends.

All three of them sit with their mouths hanging open as Bender strolls in and pulls me into his arms. “I wanted to see how it’s going.” He kisses me to within an inch of my life, and I forget about my three friends watching us. “And I missed you,” he adds, and I hear Maddie sigh behind me. Bender looks yummy in his tight faded jeans and a yellow polo shirt with his long hair pulled back in a low ponytail. He has a baseball cap pulled low on his forehead with dark sunglasses that hide a good part of his handsome face. Someone passing him on the sidewalk might have trouble recognizing the world-famous rockstar.
