Knew it.
“No.”
But his mother, for some reason, seemed to have misheard him completely, with how she was now beaming at him. “I knew we could count on you.”
“I just said no.”
“You just need to divert the press for a month or so,” Joy went on as if he hadn’t rejected their suggestion for the second time. “Show them that Foxtown isn’t about breaking relationships but creating new ones...or mending old ones like yours and Tiara’s.”

Thank you for reading The Rancher Rejects Her Heart. As always, I hope you enjoyed their story, and if you did, I would like to humbly ask for your support by way of leaving even the shortest review or a quick rating. May you also do the same for other indie or self-published authors like me who don’t yet have huge budgets set aside for advertising. It will only take a few moments of your time, but it makes a world of difference to all of us.
If you’re new to my work, please click here if you’d like to enjoy all the other books based in Foxtown. One of these days, I’m inclined to write a story that really revolves around characters in their park-assigned roles. I’m honestly excited about that, being a huge fan of Regency romance (hello to fellow Bridgerton fans, especially to readers like me who knew of the series before it became a Netflix hit).
Another thing I’m excited about is my YouTube channel, where I’ll soon be uploading my audiobooks (with visuals hopefully!). Here is an example of the trailer for Accidentally His Bride. Please do subscribe if you’d like to be notified of new uploads!
While working on this book, we had to go to the vet to pick up our CKD warrior Ginger, whose dental surgery was successful, while at the same time getting the same vet to check our UTI survivor Ice, who suffered a bad case of gastroentitis early this morning.
There are many days in our life that we experience the ups and downs at the same time, and the only reason we do not lose hope is because our joy is anchored in Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Inside each person’s heart is a God-given desire for eternity (Ecclesiastes 3:11), and it’s why, without God, there will always be something lacking, even if we seem to have everything.
As such—or as always—I really don’t want to miss this chance to invite you to surrender your life to Jesus. No long prayers are needed. He sees our hearts (1 Chronicles 28:9-10), and so He knows when we truly want to seek Him. And that desire is the start, and life will never be the same again.
Thank you once again, and may we all be one family in Christ.
Until our next journey,
Marian Tee
P.S. I’d like to invite you to sign up for my newsletter, which I use to update readers not just about upcoming releases but also to share updates on the 22 rescued cats (so far) we are able to care for through your support. We praise God for giving us readers like you!
P.P.S. Have you read Fleur and Julian’s story 12-Day Lover? It’s another Foxtown-related romance, and if you haven’t yet, I’ll soon be sharing a copy of this for free with subscribers. So please do keep an eye out for that!
P.P.P.S. Please turn to the next page to enjoy a bonus copy of The Rancher’s Unloved Wife.
My gorgeous billionaire husband has never shown interest in me...until I made plans for divorce.
EVERYONE THINKS I'M the luckiest girl on earth to be married to San Antonio's newest billionaire rancher Ryu Harcourt.
But they couldn't be any more wrong, and it's time I take back control of my life.
I asked my husband for a divorce, thinking he'd be thrilled to get rid of me.
Instead, Ryu turns my whole world upside-down by demanding my heart and body.
He wants me to fall in love with him...even when he has someone else.
About the Book
RYU DIDN'T SEEM ASHAMED at all as he faced her without a stitch of clothing. It even seemed as if he was giving her a chance to stare at her leisure, and so stare she did...while wondering absently if there was a Guinness record for the highest number of gulps achieved under one minute.
Because she was at #20 right now...and could anyone blame her, with how mesmerizingly virile her husband turned out to be?
Every inch of him was hard.
Like, seriously hard.
From his broad shoulders.
To his muscled chest.
And ripped abs.
Bordered by a well-defined V.
Before dipping into that.
Just...that.
Because she was too shy to even think of the word.
But not so shy that she could tear her gaze away, and—-did it just—-did it just, oh my gosh, it did it again! And again!
That...was alive.
Or seemed like it with how his entire length was throbbing powerfully against the taut hardness of his belly.
