“Hey, thanks for cheering us on even when we lose,” I said, scrawling my signature across her breast for at least the hundredth time.

“Me next,” another woman said, pulling her shirt down.

These women were fearless. They gave zero shits who saw most of their breasts as I signed them, and I had to admire them for that.

“Beau, this is our newest Fox, Carla,” Tiffany said, gesturing at a woman with white hair who was trying to get her breast into signing position.

It wasn’t working so great. She was older, her shirt didn’t have a wide neck opening, and her breasts were saggy.

“To hell with it,” she said, reaching for the bottom of her shirt.

Shit. I couldn’t let a senior citizen raise her entire shirt in a crowded bar. I gently put my hands on her arms to stop her.

“You know what, Carla?” I said. “New members get something special.”

I leaned in and kissed her cheek, and she beamed at me, fanning herself.

“I’m sixty-seven, and you just made me feel about twenty again!” she cried.

Winking at her, I finished my rounds and signed all the other breasts, then posed for a photo with the group.

“I’m thirsty, ladies, but I hope to see you at the next game,” I said, smiling at them.

“We’ll be there!” Tiffany said.

As I ordered at the bar, I casually scanned the crowd. I wasn’t specifically looking for a hookup, but I wouldn’t say no if the right opportunity presented herself. We were leaving for a road trip the day after tomorrow, and our schedule would be a grind.

When the bartender passed me my beer, I handed him some cash and nodded my thanks. As I turned to walk back toward Colby, I nearly bumped into a twentysomething woman with dark hair. Her brows were drawn together in a serious look, a little line between them.

“Sorry about that,” I said.

She just stared at me, her eyes wide behind her black-rimmed glasses. I gave her a polite nod and turned to go.

“I want your sperm,” she blurted.

Yikes. There had to be a full moon tonight. I liked women who made it easy, and she wasn’t bad looking at all, but I hadn’t even had a sip of my beer yet, and I was hungry.

“Listen, I—”

She cut me off, cringing. “That came out wrong. Look, I know you’re busy signing…people and all, but could I have just a little bit of your time? I have a question for you that may sound crazy, but…” She gave me a pleading look. “Please.”

“Uh, my buddy’s waiting for me over there.”

“I did more than a month of research—extensive research—on something, and if we could just sit down and talk about it…” The frown line between her brows returned. “You’re the only one who can help me, Beau. Please.”

This was a new approach. Clearly she wanted to sleep with me, and I’d had women try the hard sell with me before, but not like this. This woman wore a business suit, the dark purple shirt beneath her jacket covering her up to her collarbone.

Wait just a fucking minute. Maybe she wanted to role-play? She’d be the buttoned-up librarian and I’d be…well, me. I looked her up and down. She had a nice body beneath the suit, I could tell. And she played the good girl part to perfection.

I grinned at her. “Okay.”

Her shoulders sank with relief. “Thank you. I have a booth over in the corner we can sit at.”

I took a long drink from my beer as I followed her, eager to get this show on the road. My gaze locked onto her ass, hidden by a skirt that fell just below her knees. Damn, she’d gone all out with the suit she was wearing. It was about as spinster as a nun’s habit.

“Please, have a seat,” she said, gesturing to one side of the booth in the corner of the bar.

I slid into my seat, and she did the same on the other side of the booth, folding her hands in front of her on the table.

“My name is Shelby Grant,” she said. “I’m twenty-eight and I’m an attorney.”

An attorney? Librarian would have been hotter, but I could get into this, too.

“I see.” A corner of my mouth quirked up in a smile. “And what will you be charging me with, Miss Grant?”

“What?”

I bit my lip, showing her I was here to play. “Arousal in the first degree? I plead guilty.”

She narrowed her eyes in confusion. “Okay, I’m not sure what you’re talking about, and I’m not a prosecutor.”

“What do you want from me, then?”

She cleared her throat. “I’ll start at the end, and then make my case. I just ask that you please, please give me ten minutes to explain. Can you do that?”

This wasn’t feeling very sexy. I shrugged and nodded, just to move things along.
