We stay in the shower till our hands look like prunes and the water turns to ice. By the time night comes around and we are both sitting downstairs at the island enjoying the last of the soup, I feel almost human.
“I have two meetings tomorrow morning,” he says, putting his plate in the dishwasher. “You think you’ll be okay?” he asks, his hair all tossed around. He stands at the sink with just his boxers on. His white Calvin Klein boxers, which mold him everywhere. “Um, hello?” he says loudly.
I blink my eyes, finally coming out of my cock dream. “Yeah, I’ll be fine. I think I’m okay to go back home. I don’t think I’m contagious.”
He comes to me, picking me up under my armpits, and my legs wrap around his waist.
“Want to see me put my legs behind my head?” I wiggle my eyebrows at him as he starts to walk toward the stairs, stopping mid-step near the stairs.
“Is this enough space for you to show me and for me to ram my cock into you?” he asks with fire in his blue eyes.
I swallow a big gulp. “Yup, this is perfect.” And then I show him exactly how a pretzel looks. Naked. By the time I peel myself away from him the next morning at six a.m. I’m counting the hours till I see him again.
I unlock the door just as Lauren is coming downstairs for coffee. “You look so much better,” she says, walking to the machine, taking out two cups for us.
“I feel a hundred and fifty times better. Jesus, I thought I would die,” I say, grabbing the cup of coffee she just poured for me. I get up, going to the fridge, and getting my coconut milk. “Did you fuck with my milk?” I ask her, watching her bring the cup to her lips and then smile behind it.
“Who, me? No, I didn’t.” She takes a sip. “But I can’t confirm that Austin didn’t.”
I groan out, pouring it out in the sink.
“Asshole,” I say under my breath, sitting down on the stool, drinking my coffee black.
“He drank someone’s breast milk.” She tries to plead his case. “Someone we don’t know.”
I shoo her off with my hand, rolling my eyes. “Blah, blah, blah, how are my monkeys?” I ask about the kids.
She starts telling me a story about Rachel and her yoga poses.
“I’m so bloated,” I cut her off.
“When is your period?” she asks, leaning on the counter.
“I just finished it,” I tell her, pushing down on my little pot that is there. “You know what, I think it is air.”
Lauren looks over at me, confused.
“I’ve had so much sex these last couple of days he probably pushed air into me.” I watch her stand up. “You know, from pumping in and out.”
“Are you insane? You don’t get bloated from having air pushed into you from sex.” She folds her arms over her chest.
“Well, his dick is huge.” I shrug.
“Kaleigh, that is the craziest shit you have ever said, and trust me, I know you say some pretty crazy shit. You are not bloated because his dick is big and he pushed air into you. It can’t happen.” She turns to put her cup in the sink.
“You don’t understand,” I say, fisting my hand and slapping it with the other, making the motion of air being pushed in. “See, it’s being pushed in.”
“I don’t have time to go over this with you. I have kids to get ready,” she says, walking away.
“That’s because I’m right,” I say to her back. Lifting up the cup, I bring it to my lips. “You can totally get bloated by air being shoved inside by a big dick.”
Chapter Twenty-One
Noah
I kiss her goodbye just as she walks out and I get ready to go for my run. I watch her ass walk away, thinking maybe tonight we should try something else. I smile, thinking about it. I start my run, making lists in my head about things I need to do. The first thing I need to do is meet Sal and make sure everything is okay with the contract. I have to make sure Lauren is actually coming to work with me. Then I make a note to pick up some more vegan stuff for Kaleigh.
The office is flowing without any issues when I get ready to leave for the meeting. The meeting with Sal is so fast I’m out before the hour is up.
I decide to visit Austin. I smile at Carmen when I get off the elevator and make my way down the hallway. When I walk into the room, John is sitting on the couch already talking to Austin.
“Jesus, did this week go slow or what? I didn’t think it would ever end.” I slap John on the back and sit next to him on the couch. I look over at Austin. “Are you sick?”
