All I could think about was how uncomfortable he must be. I knew when my dad got like this, he always ordered me to 'fix' him. He said it was uncomfortable to be that way, and as a girl, I should never leave a man unsatisfied.
It disgusted me to have to do it, but all I could hear was his voice ringing through my head. As much as I hated to, I knew I had to do something. After all, that's what was right, wasn't it?
"Don't you . . ." I trailed off, bringing my arms down to go to the zipper of his jeans. His hand caught mine, his eyes flashing open with alarm. They were dark, showing me how much he wanted me. "Don't you want me to fix that?"
"What?" His eyes ran over my face. "Are you fucking serious right now?" he muttered after a moment when he realized I wasn’t joking.
"I thought—"
"No." He moved his hand so he could lace his fingers through mine. "Jesus Christ, Tracey, I would never ask you to do something like that. That's not fucking right. As good as it would feel, you would always be my first and foremost concern. I would never let you get me off before I pleasured you."
"But he told me—" Tears welled in my eyes. He interrupted me.
"And he's a fucking sick bastard for ever forcing you to do something like that. You were his goddamn daughter. You don't do that shit to your kid. It's wrong."
I tugged away from him, feeling completely embarrassed. "He wasn't . . . He wasn't the only person I had to do it to." Trevor swallowed hard at my words, rage flashing across his face. "He said that no man should be left unsatisfied—that it hurt them." I looked up at him through my lashes. "Is it true?"
He ran his fingers through his hair roughly. "It doesn’t hurt, Tracey, but it is uncomfortable, but I can deal with it. You should have never gone through something like that. You're better than how they treated you. You deserve so much better." He stepped forward so he was in front of me again and tugged me into his chest, his strength wrapping around me like a blanket. "It's nothing a cold shower can't fix anyway, okay? I'm not going to force you to do anything like that with me."
Tears suddenly built up in my eyes, and I choked out a sob as they spilled down my cheeks. Trevor never failed to show me that what my parents did to me was downright wrong and disturbing. He sighed and kissed the top of my head, tightening his arms around me.
"When we do have sex, Tracey, I promise you, it will be nothing like you experienced before. I promise. What happened to you was sick and disgusting, and no one should have to go through that kind of shit. It will be a long time before I think you're ready to take that step. Don't ever think that you have to stoop low enough to do something like that for me or anyone else ever again. A cold shower and my hand will do the job."
I breathed out a slight laugh at his attempt to make me feel better. He tilted my chin up, planting his lips on mine. "Calm down, beautiful. Everything will be okay, I promise."
He stepped back from me, turning around and adjusting his jeans. I grabbed a ponytail holder off of my nightstand and wrapped my hair into a bun on the top of my head. By the time I was done, Trevor was holding his hand out to me. "Let's go get some breakfast."
I placed my hand in his and he slipped his fingers through mine, tugging me against his side. I blushed when he pressed his lips to my temple before leading us down the stairs to breakfast.
Later that afternoon, we were all piled into Kaleb's car, heading to the mall. It was me, Trevor, Paul, Kaleb, Krista, Olivia, and Lacie. I hadn't seen Lacie nor spoken to her since that horrible dinner, and I was a little nervous about what would happen with her around.
Every time she thought that I wasn't looking, she would send nasty glares my way.
It was making me uncomfortable and nervous.
Trevor had his arm wrapped around my shoulders, and my head was leaning on his shoulder, close to his chest. I was squished between Olivia and Trevor, and Paul was squished against the door on the other side of Olivia. Lacie was sitting with Kaleb and Krista in the front. Kaleb was driving with one hand on the steering wheel and the other holding Lacie's hand.
She sent another glare over her shoulder when she thought I wasn’t looking.
I squirmed under her gaze.
Trevor looked down at me. "You okay?" He reached up to run his fingers through my hair.
