Ronan bursts into laughter. “Aye, I knew the lad was up to something.”
“Our family is always looking out. You’re right. You would have found me because they all were getting ready to tell on me.”
He laughs and gives me a heated look. I will love this man until my last second. I wasn’t expecting any of this, but I can’t say I regret a thing.
