“I’ll see you tomorrow. Go eat and rest, or, you know, make Luke rub your feet,” I whisper, doing so loudly enough that Luke can hear while smiling in that sisterly kind of way over her shoulder. He lets out a laugh while Shae giggles. “Okay, now, I know that giggle, and there’s not enough bleach in the world to even touch on the subject my sister is conjuring up. It’s time for you two to leave.” I pull back from my sister. She, in turn, moves toward Luke, and he takes her hand immediately.
“Bye, sis, love you,” Shae tells me.
“Later, little sis. Text us when you’re in the house for the night,” Luke repeats his mantra, much like he does every single night, and if he doesn’t, our father does. Then there’s the group chat with all of the girls as well as the one with the whole group. It gives me a headache thinking about the one time I woke up to one hundred plus messages I had to scroll through to get the Cliff Notes. All for it to be about a group dinner. I suggested someone create a calendar event, then invite us to it, because that was too damn much.
“I will, big brother.” They head out the door, in the nick of time, too, since my phone buzzes around on the small workplace where the computer is located. Naturally, I didn’t put it face down, so they would have seen who decided to greet me with a text.
Dr. Tall, Dark & Chasing Me: Got you something today.
There’s a picture attached of a four-pound container of my favorite peppermint candy, the soft chewable ones. How did he know I’m almost out?
Me: Does it include delivery service?
Dr. Tall, Dark & Chasing Me: For a fee.
Me: And what’s the cost?
Dr. Tall, Dark & Chasing Me: A taste.
I drop the phone as clients start rolling in as if the device is a hot potato and my hands are being seared to a scorching-hot level. I’m saved, for now. Until the end of my class at least, and maybe even afterward if I can keep my hands to myself and not reach back out to him. The only problem with that is, I’m tempted to give him more than just a taste.

The alarm blaring in my ear wakes me up from a dream I was thoroughly enjoying. One where Coralynn woke me up with her mouth beneath the covers. It’s safe to say that didn’t happen. It’s also safe to say my cock is more than ready to make the dream a reality.
Too bad the piece of flesh between my legs will have to wait. After checking the clock on my nightstand, it’s clear that I’ve hit the snooze button one time too many. I sit up and allow the sheets to drop, revealing my nakedness, and am reaching for my phone. Last night, Coralynn kept me guessing if she’d respond. She didn’t, and by the time I fell asleep, I’d assumed the peppermints I picked up for her would be sitting on the counter for the time being.
Imagine my surprise when I see a text from none other than the troublemaker herself.
Coralynn: Fine. One taste, and it’s of my choosing.
Me: Name the time and place.
I start to drop my phone back to the wood grain top near the bed when it goes off again. Looks like I’ll be getting my day started a bit later than I thought. It doesn’t help that my cock shows no signs of settling down, it’s staying rock fucking solid. I’d be pushing it if I detoured to the shower and took care of business before then made my way into the office. Then again, I’m doing rounds at the hospital, and there’s more wiggle room when I arrive, it just means my workday will end later than usual.
Coralynn: I’m home until about ten, then I’ll be at LITHE.
“Gesù Cristo!” The thought of going to her house, with nobody else around, and having her to myself, well, it only makes my thoughts run fucking wild.
Me: Be there in thirty.
The first order of business is get my ass out of bed, grab a pair of scrubs for hospital rounds, brush my teeth, run my fingers through my unruly-as-hell hair, a reminder that I need to stop at the barber shop sometime this week to get it under control, then grab a cup of coffee, the bucket of peppermints I placed on the kitchen counter last night, and attempt not to fly through the streets in order to get to Coralynn’s in record time.
Coralynn: I’ll be here.
I abandon my phone on the bed, head to the bathroom, flip on the light, and wince at how bright it is. You’d think I’d be accustomed to brightness, given I work in a hospital and attached office building. Add in the lack of sleep from when I’m on call, and my eyes shouldn’t be this sensitive, but their light green shade seems to make them so. It’s a rarity within my Italian culture, most of us have brown eyes, though my parents didn’t, and neither did theirs.
