“No homo,” he muttered, before smirking. “Maybe a little homo.”

“Big Daddy’s gonna wonder where you guys are,” Cohen said.

Walker pulled out his phone. “Yeah. I’m messaging Mel. We’re gonna need someone to cover for our asses before we get back over there tomorrow morning.”

“What’s she gonna say?” I asked.

“It’s Mel. She’ll think of something. How many times have we covered for her ass?”

I laughed. “Fair point.”

We figured out sleeping arrangements so Dwain could sober up before the morning. Walker and I would share a spare bedroom, and Lee would keep watch over our wasted brother in case he needed additional help during the night.

I was still wearing the drink that guy from the bar had spilled on me, so Cohen offered me a shower in his room first.

When we made it inside the bedroom, I relaxed against the door, closing it behind me. We both let out a sigh of relief before cracking up.

Maybe we were still a little tipsy. Or maybe we were just so damn relieved to have made it back after the drama. Whatever the reason, I felt the weight of everything lift off me, and Cohen’s lips seemed like the perfect way to loosen up even more.

And damn, he tasted as good as ever.

CHAPTER NINETEEN

Cohen

God, I wanted him. Brody tied me up in knots, in such an unfamiliar way. Like I wanted to hold on tight, but I was scared to, only the thought of letting go was even more frightening. Fucking country boys had me feeling all kinds of things, but the truth was, I knew it wasn’t just any country boy.

It was this one.

We kissed as I tugged him toward the bathroom. I tried to lean down and turn the faucets on without breaking contact, and almost fell into the tub. Brody laughed and caught me. “Good thing I was here. I just saved your life,” he teased with that drawl that was so hot and that mischievous tone he had.

“But I wouldn’t have almost fallen in the tub and died if it wasn’t for you.”

“Semantics.” He nibbled my bottom lip, then sucked it into his mouth. “Now get that shower going.”

My dick twitched. “Well, shit. I don’t know why, but that was kind of hot, you cocky motherfucker.”

“I didn’t even say anything, but I guess when it’s me saying it…”

We laughed again, and I got the water on. We stripped each other out of our clothes, before kissing and almost getting wrapped up in the curtain while we tried to get in the shower.

“We’re gonna make a mess,” Brody said.

“I don’t care.”

He looked at me strangely, his brows furrowed as if in thought, before his mouth crashed down on mine again.

We finally made our way into the shower, and I pushed Brody against the wall as water ran down over us. He was bigger than me, his tan lines from working in the sun more noticeable than they usually were.

“Fuck you feel good,” he said.

I squirted soap in my hand and wrapped it around his cock. Christ, he was thick. I wanted him in my mouth again, wanted in his ass, but even though I could tell there was curiosity there, I didn’t know if he would be ready. “We don’t want you finishing too soon, then.” I let go of him, and Brody gasped.

“Touch me, you fucker.”

I slid my soapy hand around him and teased the crease of his ass. “Say please.”

“Oh fuck.” He closed his eyes and dropped his head back. “Please…”

“That was easier than I thought it would be.” I pushed a finger between his cheeks, testing the waters. Brody spread his legs farther, his breathing sped up, and he opened his eyes and looked at me. “Too much?” I licked at his lip. “I want you, whatever way I can have you. I’ll give up the ass, and I don’t usually do that on a first date.”

He didn’t chuckle like I expected him to. I went to pull my hand away, but Brody grabbed my wrist. “No…I want…”

Hell, I was so fucked. My cock twitched as I saw the heat in his stare. “You’re curious,” I said, and he nodded. He was going to wreck me, this man. He was so damn full of surprises.

“You couldn’t tell?” he asked. “Aren’t you supposed to be good at this?”

“Oh, fuck you. I just didn’t want to make assumptions.” I leaned in again, sucked his lip, felt him tremble. “I’ll take good care of you. It’s a mighty fine ass. Is that how I’m supposed to say it?”

“Goddamned city boys,” he teased.

I sobered. “Seriously, though. I’ll make it good for you. You’ll be running around begging for my dick in your ass after this.”

“Well, I don’t know. It’s a little smaller than mine, sooo…”

“Fuck you.” I laughed. Damn, he did it for me. There was nothing like laughing with Brody O’Ralley, and for a moment, I got unexplainably sad. I thought about the history between our families. The rage in Big Daddy’s eyes when he saw me, the anger in Dwain’s words. Hell, the fact that we had to go to Atlanta just so we could be in public together.
