But the funny thing about life is that things often happen when you least expect it. Within two months, I was knocked up and I could hardly believe it when I told my lover the news.
“Jordan, you’re going to be a father,” I gasped, holding out the pregnancy indicator to him. “Oh my god.”
His face drained white at first, but then those handsome features began glowing with joy.
“I knew it was going to happen,” he growled before pulling me close for a kiss. “You’re young and fertile, sweetheart, and we just needed more than two months. Plus, I’ve got the timing right now, so get ready to be stay pregnant continuously,” he growls with a wink. “I want a posse of kids.”
I giggle and yet a thrill runs through me because I want to have Jordan’s children. We both agree that the Lewis name isn’t some precious thing that absolutely must be carried on, and yet we both look forward to filling the mansion with rugrats. Of course, Jordan wants a minimum of six, but I think I can talk him down to four.
But yes, we’re married now. After our reconciliation, we were married in a small ceremony at the clerk’s office and my application for an adjustment of status was put through. I haven’t received my green card yet, but everyone tells me that it won’t be long. I’ll soon be a lawful permanent resident of my adopted country, and I’m overjoyed to stay with my man, my children, and my friends.
But first, the wedding. I turn to Marielle with a smile as she hands me my bouquet.
“So how are you, girlfriend?” I ask. “I’ve been so caught up in wedding planning that I haven’t been able to focus on much else. But what are you up to?”
The pretty blonde smiles. She’s so beautiful, with freckles on her nose from working outdoors, and a toothy grin with an entrancing gap between her two front teeth.
“I’m good,” she says. “Nothing to report, except that I’ve quit my job and I’m going west.”
“You’ve quit your job?” I ask, dumbstruck. “But I thought you got your work visa through the kennel? Aren’t you stuck with them?”
“I would be, except I’ve already been hired by a new employer who’s applied for a visa for me,” she says with a wink. “It’s the Neveah Ranch out in Montana. They want me to come out to work hands-on with their livestock guardian dogs. It’s going to be awesome.”
I stare at her.
“You’re moving?”
“Yes,” Marielle says in a lofty tone. “You know me, Jules. The Wild West beckons and I want to spread my wings. My work is taking me to the frontier, and I want to see what it’s like to live the cowboy life.”
I stare at her.
“Well, I’m not sure Montana is a frontier, but I do love cowboys,” I say.
My pretty blonde friend winks.
“Me too, and the Nevaeh Ranch is owned by two gorgeous cowboy billionaires, did I mention? They’re not seventy years old either. They’re thirty-five or forty, stacked and hung. Plus, they’re outdoorsy, filthy rich, and with a penchant for dogs. What could be better?”
I stare at her.
“Wait a minute, how do you know they’re hung?” I ask in a slow voice. “Is there something you’re not telling me, Mari?”
Marielle winks but before she can say anything, the door opens and my gorgeous husband walks in.
“Au revoir, ma cherie,” she says with a quick air kiss before darting out the door. “You look gorgeous. Can’t wait to see you walk down the aisle.”
Then Mari’s gone in a flash as my gorgeous groom looks me up and down.
“Damn,” Jordan says.
“Is that all you can say?” I ask while twirling coquettishly.
“Yeah, because I want to fuck you right now, except all our guests are outside.”
“Well, we could make them wait...” I say in a flirtatious voice while raising the hem to my gown. “It’s our wedding after all. Did you lock the door?”
Jordan advances, blue eyes flaring as he unzips his trousers.
“I did, sweetheart,” he says in a raspy voice. “You’re already mine but it turns me on to know you’ll walk down the aisle with my babies in your belly and my cum seeping down your thigh. Let’s do it.”
Then, without another word, I’m swept onto the divan as my man ravishes my curves. He’s thorough, intense, and best of all, hung. But what was Marielle talking about when she mentioned those two cowboys? And isn’t Nevaeh “Heaven” spelled backwards? Hmm, Mari’s definitely looking to hit ecstasy ... and my guess is that she’ll make it.
