“Please, Asher,” I beg. “I want you. I want to feel you. Now.”

His finger brushes over my folds again, and this time, he circles my clit, and I jerk violently. I let out a hiss when he leans against me, his heat scalding my back. I spread my legs and let Asher guide my bottom up. His cock presses up against my entrance, but then he stops. I’m sure he’s going to ask me if I’m sure, so I wriggle my hips back into him so that he pushes inside. I don’t want him to stop, and I know he doesn’t want to stop, so I push back into him, taking him slowly, letting him fill me, stretch me, shock me.

He pushes in all the way, and I claw at the wall in response as I let out a long moan. I can’t help myself. I writhe against Asher, taking him deeper. He pulls out halfway, dragging out the movement and pleasure, then thrusts back in hard. I ride with him, and we build a rhythm together. I can feel all the pleasure that’s been locked away in me for my entire freaking life spiraling and tightening into something deep and unknown inside me.

Every thrust takes me to a magic land of dancing doughnuts and light beams. I know I’m close because I start to see purple llamas behind my closed eyes, but all of a sudden, the bottom of the world, the ocean, the sky, the ground, all of it drops out, and I’m floating, flying, and breaking. Shattering. Coming apart.

The climax hits me hard, rendering me totally speechless, but Asher feels it. He knows. He drives into me, thrusting hard, then buries himself deep inside me with a groan. His fingers clench around my hips while he shudders silently, and his heavy breathing is pretty much the only indication that he’s gone somewhere else too. I wonder if he’s making his way through the same magical land I just rocketed off to.

“Sprinkles,” I blurt. I meant to finish it up with something else, but all that comes out of my mouth is that one word.

“Sprinkles,” Asher agrees.

He pulls out, picks me up, and sets me on the bed. Then, he drags the comforter over me before disappearing. He has no problem finding the bathroom since I hear the light click on in the room just beside mine, but he’s back a few minutes later. Surprisingly, he peels back the blankets and slips into bed beside me, taking me into his arms and tugging me up against his chest. His skin is cold and clammy from the air temperature mixed with his sweat, but I don’t mind one bit. I’d like to be the one who warms him up, actually.

“Are you…it’s kind of late. Are you thinking you’d like to stay the night? If you’re not up for it, that’s alright. Just don’t pull a disappearing act halfway through because that would be more upsetting to me than if you just left now.”

Asher’s hand gently strokes my hair while his heart pounds fiercely right across from mine. “You’d be upset?”

“Hmm, I don’t know if upset is the right word.”

“I’ll stay.”

“You will?”

“Oh yes,” he says darkly, and his sexy as sin voice gets my insides clenching and wanting again. “I’ll stay.”

CHAPTER 14

Emily

“Where’s my grandson?”

“Arghflfhfhffhhhhhh!” I wake to the sound of someone’s sweet, soft voice. It’s feminine, and it most definitely doesn’t belong to Asher.

My eyes tear open, and somehow, my body reacts before my brain, and I turn myself into a projectile. One that lands straight on the floor. Thwump! I go down, dragging the sheet with me. Thank god, because I’m totally naked. My bare bottom hits the cold floor, and I let out another yelp. I scramble fast, hugging the sheet to me. Somehow, I manage to right myself, and I dive back under the quilt on the bed, pulling it all the way up to my chin.

Holy mother of grannies, it’s a granny. A real live granny. With glowing pink hair in a glittery gold dress. She looks like a granny of fairy dreams, but nope, she’s real. And she’s really standing there, in my bedroom.

“What are you doing here?” With just my eyes, I glance frantically to the other side of the bed, so I don’t give myself away, but nope. Asher isn’t there. Why isn’t he there?

“I knocked profusely on your door, but there was no answer. I tried the handle, and it was open, so I let myself in.”

“You what?”

Who uses the word profusely to describe knocking? And why didn’t I hear it? Oh right. Because I’m exhausted from the previous night’s strenuous exercises. We did it multiple times. And um, I’m more than slightly sore. Which, under other circumstances, would be entirely wonderful, but right now, with a fire-breathing granny staring me down, it makes me feel guilty and flushed.
