I shut her up with a kiss.

She resists for all of a moment, then wraps her arms around my neck and kisses me back eagerly. I can taste half the bar on her lips, and it’s real fucking sweet. I wrap my arms around her to help her stand, and because I really like having her in my arms.

When we separate, she looks up and her pupils are dilated and unfocused. “I'm dizzy,” she declares.

“Hey, dizzy, I’m Bull. You're drunk as a fucking skunk, angel. You're in for a rough morning.” Keeping her in place with one arm, I brush the hair out of her face with the other. Fuck, whenever she's around, all I wanna do is touch her.

“Dance with me!” Her grip on me tightens, and she starts swiveling her hips. “Opal taught me this… this thing, and I want to show you.”

I look past her at Cherry and Opal. Cherry shrugs. “Sorry, she's a lightweight. We've been watching out for her, though. I swear.” From the way she and Opal are leaning on each other, I'm not convinced they're really heavyweights either, no matter what they think, but they're at least able to walk.

Opal nods. “She seemed really bummed at the club, but we tried to cheer her up. She's really nice.”

I smile, trying not to actually laugh. They're being so fucking earnest. “I know. Thanks. I’m going to take her back to the club, though. She’s not supposed to be out wandering on her own.”

“Yeah, they’re totally banging,” is the last thing I hear Opal say to Cherry as they walk away.

“Is she right? Are we going to bang?” Rory's still swiveling her hips against me to make me dance with her. I pull her in tight and start moving with her.

“Maybe, but not tonight. I only bang girls who are sober enough to understand they're saying yes.”

“But you'll dance with a drunk girl, right?” She stumbles but catches herself with a death grip on my cut.

“I already am, babe.”

“Oh, right.” She swivels her hip again, bumping into me, then frowns and rests her forehead on my chest.

“Listen, I'm sorry for breaking up your fun with the girls. How about we get back to the clubhouse and move this party to your room? If you really wanna keep on drinking there, we can make it happen. You can get as rip roaring wasted as you want to. What do you say?”

There's no answer. She get angry?

Nope, she's fucking fallen asleep. Guess that answers that. With a shake of my head, I scoop her up into my arms and make for the door to the apartments. Not gonna fucking carry her all the way back to the clubhouse. “Out of my fucking way, people.”

We get her tucked away in my bed upstairs, and she’s so dead to the world she doesn’t even notice.

“What are we doing here?” I watch the soft rise and fall of her chest. She really does look like a fucking angel with her hair fanned out around her.

“Watching Rory sleep?” Shrapnel always the wiseass.

“No, he means like with her. And maybe it's not a bad idea to talk about it.” Diesel shrugs.

I nod. “Have to admit, I'm feeling a little bit behind the curve, and I wanna know where we're going with this because I don’t want to step on anyone’s fucking toes without knowing. If either of you are feeling like you want to stake a claim, tell me now before it causes a problem.”

Shrapnel shakes his head. “I like her. It’s fucked up that she’s so fucking far out of our league, though. If she really was a stewardess, life would be a hell of a lot easier.”

“No fucking kidding. But she’s a grown woman, and she seems cool with all of us. We’re no strangers to sharing so… is there even a problem?” Diesel looks between us.

“Good.” I push a strand of hair out of her face and she sighs, settling down into an even deeper sleep. “If she wants to choose, that’s up to her, but for now we’re all free to play.”

A girl like her? Eventually she’ll realize that she’s slumming it here even if she’s having fun, but I’m not a pure enough gentleman to pass on the opportunity to have that fun while it lasts. She’s an intriguing combination of innocent, curious, and fearless.

“I say we roll with it. If it turns into more, we deal with it,” Shrapnel adds. “Agreed?”

“Agreed.” I nod while I wonder what something more would look like.

RORY

I wake up feeling like someone's ringing a church bell inside my head with a sledgehammer. It reverberates through my skull, making my teeth rattle and my brain hurt. Am I dead? Is this hell? It sure feels that way.

My eyelids scrape over my eyeballs as I force them open with a wince. It takes a long moment to puzzle out that I’m in one of the boys’ apartments. It takes an even longer moment before I start getting an inkling of how I got here. Cherry, Opal, margaritas, going to the bar. Something stronger from… from… Badass? Bull coming to find me. Trying to make him dance with me. Badly.
