Now, our dreams have come true. I’m going to have a baby with the billionaire I adore, and our life is filled with happiness and bliss. It wasn’t always this way either because after my kidnap, it took time for me to recover. I lost my home, my family, and everything I knew in one fell swoop. It took months of long walks in the woods, meditation, and writing in my journal (while also seeing a professional therapist) to work things out.
But Braden was with me every step of the way. My man chose to work a hundred percent remote during my recovery phase, and stayed with me in Fairview. We moved from his cabin into his mansion after construction was finished. Even more, before our staff was hired, Braden did everything himself. He cooked nutritious meals for me to eat; took me to the gym to help me move my body; and even read to me at night because the sound of his deep voice soothed my nerves. Of course, my man made love to me around the clock too because that’s what my handsome billionaire needs. He’s constantly aroused when he’s in my vicinity, and can’t help but touch my secret spots at all hours.
But now, our life is more settled. My brother and father are in jail, and won’t be getting out for a long time. The DA decided not to prosecute me because they ascertained that I genuinely knew nothing about the meth lab. Again, I was involved in the cannabis business, and all of that is legit. Treadwell Farms still exists on the State of California’s books although of course, I don’t grow anymore. There’s no need because my boyfriend is loaded, and there’s no sense in working my fingers to the bone for money. But I still keep a greenhouse next to our mansion, and it’s filled with exotic varietals of bonsai, as well as new plants that I want to cultivate. I’m able to nurture my hobby, without the pressure of running a farm breathing down my neck.
But now, I’m bringing a Rockwell baby into the world, and Braden looks so excited that he’s practically shaking in the shower. Water sluices down his massive, bronzed body, and his dark hair is plastered against his skull. Those blue eyes eat me up as he strokes a thumb against my bottom lip with reverence.
“A baby,” he murmurs. “I’m going to have a son or daughter.”
“Yes,” I smile at him before slipping my tongue out to lightly lick his finger. “You’ll be a daddy soon.”
Pure joy alights on my alpha male’s face.
“Holy shit,” he breathes. “I never thought it would happen. I was hoping and hoping and hoping... but fuck, sweetheart, thank you so much. I love you, Gracie, more than you could ever know,” he finishes in a rough voice. In fact, there are tears in his eyes and my heart melts.
“Don’t cry, mountain man,” I say in a soft voice while stroking his hard jaw. “I love you too, and this is what we want. We made this baby together.”
“Yes,” Braden responds in a fierce tone before ducking his head to press a hard kiss to my mouth. “This baby will be made of you and me. Actually, hopefully it’s a girl who’s a hundred percent like you, sweetheart, because that would make me so happy. Damn,” he says before beaming down at me. “We have to celebrate, Gracie. Are you okay to travel?” he asks, glancing down at my poochy belly.
I smile up at my gorgeous boyfriend.
“I’m fine to travel because I’m only in my first trimester! Why, what did you have in mind?”
“Well, I want you to meet my brother,” he says. “Mason. My asshole twin, who runs Duality with me. And his girlfriend, Haley, as well as their twin boys, Jaden and Kaden. But there’s more to it...” my boyfriend muses, his voice trailing off.
I raise a curious brow.
“And what would that be? Trust me, you can’t surprise me these days because of everything that’s happened in my life.”
But the gorgeous billionaire shakes his dark head.
“No, because this is pretty out there, sweetheart. Mason and Haley are in a relationship, but there’s also another man: Grant, Mason’s stepson.”
I come to a full stop.
“I’m sorry?” I blink, not sure I’ve heard right. “There’s another man in the relationship? As in, they’re in a threesome?”
“Yeah,” my boyfriend confirms. “And the fucked-up part is that Grant is technically my brother’s stepson. Mason was married ages ago to Grant’s mom, Hilaree, who died in a ski accident. That was when Grant was a kid, and so my brother sort-of raised him. But something fucked-up happened along the way, and they began sharing women. Then along came Haley and fuck, but they’re making babies together now.”
I shake my head, eyes like saucers.
