“How fascinating!” Dr. T’Oo-loo gave Lexi a surprised but pleased look. “That’s quite an accomplishment my dear! Such a volume would put you right up there with our Prime Milkers! You must be very proud of yourself for nectarating so heavily.”
Lexi had no idea how to answer this—after all, it wasn’t like she’d been trying to break any “nectarating” records and she didn’t harbor any secret ambition to become a “Prime Milker” whatever that was. However, she didn’t get a chance to answer, because Dr. Brandt was talking again.
“Well, I have to get her infected with the Bacillus Aurum first,” he remarked. “I’m hoping you can help me with that—can you recommend some accelerated methods to help her become a host?”
“Hmm…” Dr. T’Oo-loo frowned thoughtfully. “Well, the best thing you can do is to let her just breathe in our air and ingest our water and food. As you know the Bacillus Aurum lives throughout our lovely planet. It might also be good to stimulate and excite her nervous system through either pleasure or pain—the faster you get her heart pumping and her lungs cycling air—the quicker she will draw the Bacillus Aurum into her body.”
“Pain?” Lexi asked apprehensively.
Dr. Brandt shot her a warning look.
“There won’t be a need for pain as long as you behave yourself, Alexandra,” he growled. Then he looked back at Dr. T’Oo-loo. “Thank you. Do you have a place where I can stimulate my assistant in the way you describe?”
“But of course. But first may I invite the two of you to share a meal with us?” Dr. T’Oo-loo inquired. “I have a most delicious shroom-la steak marinating and it’s far too much for just T’linga and me.”
“We would be honored to share a meal with you,” Dr. Brandt said, nodding.
“Very good, my friend! Come, let me tell you about the latest advancements in my research.” The Terian doctor hooked his long, purple arm through Dr. Brandt’s and the two of them strolled on ahead, leaving Lexi and T’linga to walk behind them into one of the large, mushroom-shaped buildings.
Inside it was cooler and all the surfaces were curved. The walls were a pale pink which shaded to a darker color on the ceiling and the floors were carpeted in some kind of blue moss. Lexi was reminded again of her thought that the structures here seemed almost as though they had been grown instead of built.
T’linga took Lexi by the arm, the same way Dr. T’Oo-loo had taken Brandt by his arm, and they began to stroll down the long, curving, moss-carpeted hallway.
“Look at those two—as giddy as boys to finally be together!” T’linga smiled fondly at the Terian doctor’s broad back. “Dr. T’Oo-loo has been asking Dr. Brandt to come and visit us for years, but he always swore he wouldn’t come until he found the special female who could help him with his research by hosting the Bacillus Aurum. I’m so happy he found you!”
Lexi wasn’t sure how she felt about being referred to as a “special female,” but before she could say anything snarky about it, T’linga was tugging her gently down a side corridor that branched off from the main walk.
“Let me give you the tour,” she said brightly. “This is the Nectar Collection Suite we use for training new Givers. It’s very private—and very well stocked with all the stimulation aids you might need.”
Lexi blinked.
“Stimulation aids?” she echoed.
T’linga gave a sweet laugh.
“Oh yes—well, as Dr. T’Oo-loo said, the Bacillus thrives best when the host is either in pain or experiencing intense pleasure. So we’ve developed quite a few tools to help with that. Come see!”
Before Lexi could object—or decide if she wanted to hear more—T’linga waved her hand at a shimmering silver door, which slid open silently, and led her inside.
But once they were in, Lexi stopped short, her eyes going wide—the room beyond looked like something out of a sci-fi BDSM dungeon!
There was a padded table in the center—no, more like a bench—with adjustable straps and a headrest. Various soft-looking restraints dangled from the ceiling, and a sleek chrome cart along one wall held a collection of strange instruments—some shaped like pinwheels, some with clips, some with curved paddles that looked suspiciously like spanking implements.
Lexi stared.
“Oh my God,” she muttered under her breath. “Is this the Terian version of the Red Room?”
T’linga didn’t seem offended by her tone.
“Oh, it’s not all for punishment,” she said cheerfully. “In fact, most of these are meant for pleasure! Though we do find that alternating pain and pleasure yields the best nectar output.”
Lexi swallowed hard as her eyes landed on a pair of golden clamps with little glowing beads hanging from them.
“And those?” she asked, her voice a little too high.
“Nipple clamps!” T’linga said proudly. “Very effective. The tugging sensation increases circulation to the mammary glands and therefore encourages the nectar to flow. We also use mild electric pulses in some cases, but only if the Giver consents.”
