“Good girl,” he says and licks his fingers clean.

It’s so fucking filthy I could scream.

“That—” I say as I push my panties back into position, useless though they may be, and tug up my sweats. “—Was a one-time thing. Understand?”

“I hear what you’re saying.”

“That isn’t you agreeing.”

“No, it’s definitely not. You really think I can taste you and watch you come and not want more?”

“I think you need to find some self-control.”

Because apparently, I don’t have any.

He only laughs as he returns to his seat. I glance at him, chewing on my lip, dizzy and embarrassed, but also strangely still turned on. The stewardess definitely just heard me reach completion, and I’ll be pretty mortified when she comes back here, but right now I’m too busy floating on the freaking clouds to care about much.

“You’re more relaxed,” he says softly.

And he’s right. I really am. My eyelids feel heavy and I’m smiling a little. I don’t even have to consciously think about making my jaw relax. “I guess all I need is a few good orgasms per day.”

“Happy to oblige.”

“I bet.” I glance down at where his visible erection presses against his pants. “But I don’t plan on returning the favor.”

“Don’t worry about me, baby. I’ll take care of this later while reliving every moment of your incredible orgasm.”

My cheeks burn hotter and I pull my knees to my chest. “I think I need to take a nap,” I mumble, turning toward the window. I lean up against the cold wall of the airplane and listen to the rumble of the engines. “Can we just promise to pretend like that didn’t happen or something?”

“I don’t think I could even if I wanted to.”

“Try harder then.” I close my eyes and yawn. My whole body’s tingling from the mixture of a good massage and an even better orgasm.

“Drift, baby,” he whispers and something heavy drapes over me.

A blanket. I don’t know where it came from.

“Keep your hands off me while I’m asleep. I don’t know what kind of pervy stuff you’re into.”

His soft laugh is the last thing I hear as I let myself drift.

Chapter 15

Gian

Allegra doesn’t talk much on the drive out to the Rossi house, but I do notice that she seems a lot lighter after getting a couple hours of sleep on the plane. And I suspect the orgasm didn’t hurt either.

We don’t talk about what happened. I get the sense she doesn’t want to bring it up, and I don’t press, but her taste is still on my tongue when we get out of the car and head up to the front door.

My wife is beautiful. She’s gorgeous in a way I can’t stop noticing. It’s her thick, curly hair, her hips, her lips, her smile, but it’s also the way she carries herself. There’s a confidence in her, even if she doesn’t even realize it. She commands a room, lights it up every time she walks through the door. People stare at her, and I like that. She’s a focal point, and even I feel it.

When she’s near, I want to be close to her. I gravitate in her direction, sometimes without realizing it. What happened on the plane wasn’t planned, but I also couldn’t stop thinking about the possibility of tasting her little tongue again after the kiss at the chapel.

Before we head inside, she stops abruptly. I nearly keep going before I realize she’s not following. I step close, one hand on the small of her back. “What’s wrong?” I ask quietly.

“Promise you have my back.” She looks at me, her expression serious. This isn’t just some random panic attack. She’s been thinking about this. “Promise you aren’t going to ditch me.”

“I swear, that won’t ever happen again.”

“I didn’t think you’d do it the first time, but here we are.” She still hesitates, clearly not satisfied.

“No matter what happens, you’re my priority. I swear, baby, no matter what.”

That makes her jaw set. She shrugs away from my hand. “Don’t think what happened on the plane changes anything, okay? That was just a moment of weakness. You and I are still just a business deal and nothing more. Got it?”

“Understood.” I stifle a smile. That won’t go over well right now. But fuck, she looks so gorgeous all pissed off like that, and we both know she’s full of shit.

What happened on the plane definitely changed things.

It reminded both of us what it’s like to be together.

“Don’t screw me over.” She holds my gaze for another second before nodding at the door. “Alright, let’s get this done.”

I take her into the house and let the discussion drop. Once inside, we go straight to Renzo’s office. I called ahead and he’s expecting us, though I didn’t give him the details about what happened out west, only that I went there with Allegra, and now we have some news.
