“You should,” Eryx said, catching my eye in the mirror. “You asked for it, after all.”

“And I will ask for it again,” I retorted, a playful grin on my lips.

Rafe chuckled, running a hand through his messy blonde hair. “We’ll give you more, but we’ve got to make sure you’re ready for it.”

“Always ready,” I assured him.

As we dressed, the air was filled with easy silence, my mind still reeling from the experience. It was more than just sex; it was an unspoken connection that left me wanting more. And there was still so much more to discover.

I wanted to know all there was to know about these men, to experience what they had to offer, beyond exploring every inch of their bodies,

We returned to the bedroom after I did battle with my hair using a comb. “I want the least wet spot,” I demanded.

Rafe laughed and drew the entire duvet off, revealing a lighter, not quite as drenched blanket beneath.

“You got it,” Hael obliged like the amazing guy he was.

I climbed onto the dryer blanket with a satisfied smile. “But you’re sure you don’t want to sleep alone?”

Eryx blinked as if just realizing something. “If you need space, you can tell us. I’ll sleep outside your door.”

“Just give me one of those pillows and I’m good right here on the floor,” Rafe added.

I raised my brows and stared at them. “First of all, you know better, Mr. Sinclair. Get your ass in this bed. Second of all, I have no issue communicating my needs. If I want space, you’ll know. Hungry, horny, or both at once, you’ll know. Right now, I would like if someone went and told Aisha she can sleep on the pull-out sofa over there, and then get in this bed with me, too.”

“Well, that’s that then,” Eryx said, giving in. “I’ll talk to Aisha.”

As he walked out of the room to fetch my best friend for our temporary sleepover, the three of us settled in for the night. Hael took the spot on my right, and Rafe on my left. When Eryx returned with not just Aisha, but Liam and Maya as well, my best friend didn’t so much as bat an eye. Maya gave me a surprised look but grinned with a thumbs up.

Eryx claimed his place on the bed only after barricading our door and doing another sweep, finding room for himself without stealing too much of my blanket. I couldn’t help but smile as I drifted off.

Chapter Thirteen

The morning light filtered in through the sheer curtains, casting a warm glow across the room. I blinked away the remnants of sleep, taking in the scene around me. Snuggled between Eryx and Hael, with Rafe sprawled at the edge of the bed, I felt a mix of contentment and the familiar ache of post-adrenaline soreness. Across the room, Maya and Aisha were still deep in slumber, oblivious to the morning’s quiet start.

Liam, already awake, caught my eye from where he sat in an armchair by the window. He offered a small wave. I returned the gesture with a slight smile, then turned to see Rafe rubbing the sleep from his eyes, his hair tousled in a way that was both infuriating and endearing.

The room was filled with a peaceful silence, a stark contrast to the chaos of Judicium. It was a rare moment of tranquility in a game designed to unnerve and unsettle, and I soaked in the calm while it lasted.

Rafe offered a casual, “Good morning,” his voice husky from sleep.

I responded with a playful, “Morning, Sleeping Beauty,” causing Eryx to chuckle.

“You should have started with that,” he teased Rafe.

Hael, finally stirring, tightened his arm around my middle, still half in the realm of dreams. Glancing at my trio, I couldn’t help but feel a mix of annoyance and admiration at how effortlessly good they looked this early. Their relaxed, carefree expressions contrasted sharply with the intensity of the previous day, making them seem almost too serene

Aisha bolted upright, her eyes wide with sudden alertness. “We get to go home?”

Maya, less enthusiastic about the early disruption, groaned and lobbed a pillow at her. “Shh, some of us are trying to savor the last few minutes of peace.”

I couldn’t help but laugh at their antics, carefully sliding Hael’s arm off me as I made my way to the bathroom. The movement woke him, and he blinked sleepily at me, a soft, questioning grunt escaping him.

“Just a bathroom break,” I assured him, creeping away to freshen up. When I returned, the room was alive with movement. Eryx brushed past me, his hands fleetingly skimming my midsection before he disappeared into the bathroom.

“Aht, aht, none of that,” Aisha warned, wagging a finger with a mock-serious look. “I have Lucky Charms waiting for me at home and no patience for another four hours of y’all getting your rocks off.”
