Fuck she looks gorgeous like this—so utterly and completly fucked, cum dripping from every hole, her whole body still shivering in her pleasure, like she’s a goddess. I roll her gently onto her side, moving in behind her to wrap my arms around her and pull her against me. Gavin slides down in front of her, kissing her softly as we both hold her tight between us.

“That—I don’t know what that was,” she murmurs, looking at him and then turning to look at me with wonder and bliss all over her face.

“That was really, really fucking good is what that was,” my brother groans into her lips.

Charlotte giggles. “Um, yeah. That was…” she shakes her head. “That was nothing I’ve ever even imagined.”

“You okay?” I growl gently.

“Oh, I’m better than okay,” she murmurs, turning to look at me. “I’m… I’m fucking fantastic,” she giggles, her face flushed.

“Well, we aim to please,” Gavin chuckles.

She kisses him again before she pulls back with a gasp and looks down between them.

“You cannot still be hard.”

He glances at me, and we both grin. I shrug, chuckling.

“I think you’re to blame for that.”

She giggles, snuggling into both of us.

“Well, a girl could use a little bit of a break.”

I chuckle. “I think that can be arranged.”

“So, what, five-minute breather?” Gavin teases.

She blushes, biting her lip as she feels me growing harder against her ass.

“Okay, a girl could also get used to this,” she purrs.

“We should rest,” I growl. “It’s been a long, long damn day.”

She nods, looking at me deeply.

“Let’s get you cleaned up,” Gavin murmurs.

He helps her up as I go to the shower and run the water, and then we all pile in again, cleaning off and soaping her up—very, very thoroughly. But even though I know we could both go again, it really is late, and we need to fix this shit tomorrow.

Gavin and I make sure the place is secure, and re-check our guns before we crawl naked into bed with Charlotte.

I know this is insane. I know it’s stupid, but I don’t care. Neither of us do. Because we both feel it, and we both know it’s bigger than anything we’ve ever felt before.

…because she’s it for us. She’s the one. And there’s no denying that in a million damn years.

Gavin moves in behind her this time, me in front, and we hold her tight as the three of us start to fade to sleep.

Chapter Eight

Gavin

“You awake?”

I nod, even though I know Ben probably can’t see me in the dark.

“Yeah. You?”

I can hear my brother grin at my joke.

“Can’t sleep.”

“So I gathered,” I growl. “Same.”

I glance down at the angel in my arms, sleeping so soundly between us, and my heart beats a little faster. My cock thickens and throbs against that tight, curvy ass pressed so hotly against it, and I think about waking her up, but she’s had a very, very long twenty-four hours. Hell, we all have.

And I know that’s the reason I’m not sleeping. Charlotte, I mean, not the danger or the stress of the current situation. Hell, Ben and I have been dealing with conflict and danger our whole lives, and as intense as this is, it’s not even close to the worst shit we’ve gotten ourselves into. No, I’m awake because this time, for the very first time, there’s another element to the danger.

I’ve never had to worry about Ben, just like he’s never had to worry about me. I mean, sure, yeah, the basic empathy for your own flesh and blood, and the brotherly love we share. I don’t mean that I don’t worry about him like I don’t care about him. I just mean I know Ben can handle himself—he can take care of his shit when the shit gets real, same as me.

And that’s how we’ve gone through life—we’ve never had to worry, or watch our footing hoping the other one can keep up. Or worrying that if we dodge, the danger will hit the other one, if that makes sense. But this?

Well, this is different. Charlotte makes it different.

Because for the first time in my life—in our lives, there’s something to care about that we actually have worry about. It’s not like she’s not strong, or wild, or capable of holding herself up during danger. But, it’s different. Ben and I have dealt with enough shit in life to harden us more than most people. The scars we carry are our armor, and as tough as Charlotte is, she doesn’t have that, and this world isn’t something she’s been bathed in.

She’s a tourist to the dark side here, and knowing that Ben and I are what stands between her and the carnage this world can bring down?

Well, yeah, that’s what’s got me up. And I know it’s what’s got him up too.
