“Ohhhh…” she moaned, slumping forward on his broad chest with his shaft still buried inside her. “Oh, that was amazing…” And lifting her head, she placed a soft kiss on his lips.
“It was amazing for me too, lovely one.”
Terra frowned. Where was his voice coming from? Not from his lips, which were busy kissing her back with tender exhaustion, she realized. No, she was hearing Taurex talk inside her head.
“My heart. My soul. My wife,” he went on. “Yes, I am speaking inside your head, just as you can now speak to me the same way. I love you beyond the stars. I will cherish you, protect you, and honor you always. You are mine, as I am yours. Forever.
The voice was unmistakably Taurex’s, but resonant, intimate, echoing in the private chambers of her mind.
Terra froze, her lips still against his, her eyes flying open. She pulled back just enough to stare at him. His golden eyes were open, watching her and glowing with a fierce, possessive tenderness that made her heart ache. His mouth hadn’t moved once.
Hesitantly, tentatively, she formed a thought and pushed it toward him.
“Taurex? Can you… hear me? Is this… part of being Bonded?”
A wave of profound, overwhelming love and completion washed over her, so strong it made tears of joy spring to her eyes. It was his emotion, flooding into her, she realized. This was how Taurex felt for her and now she could experience first-hand.
“Yes, my Terra. Now our Bond is sealed, mind and soul. We can speak this way, always. You will never be alone again,” he promised.
She lowered her forehead to his, closed her eyes, and sent her own love back to him. As she felt him receive it, she knew he was telling the truth—she would never be alone again. Taurex would always be there to cherish and protect her—to help her raise her children and care for her mother and to love her unconditionally.
Her life had changed completely, and it was all because she’d been brave enough to try…Dancing for the Minotaur.
THE END?
I hope not! I love writing Monstrum stories, and I hope you enjoy reading them.
