Carter suddenly rolled them over, so she was sitting on him. “Since you’re such a good rider now, I’m going to let you do the work, sweetheart.”
She wasn’t usually an ‘on top’ kind of girl. She liked to feel like she was being taken and controlled during sex, and it could be hard for her to get into guiding the pace. But every once in a while, being on top could be a hell of a lot of fun. “I’m told I have a natural seat,” she said, smirking down at him as she began to move.
He reached around to give her seat a good squeeze with both hands. “Very natural,” he agreed.
What little sting was still there from the short spanking flared. It sent a nice little burst of encouragement to her clit, and she began to put her riding lessons to good use. The smooth up-and-down gait transferred from horse to man quite nicely, with one difference. That difference was currently straining to reach the deepest parts of her every time she came down, and it certainly made riding an experience.
Allegra had heard the jokes about girls and horseback riding, of course, and seen the references in movies too. She’d been half disappointed to find it wasn’t at all true, at least not for her. However, the way she’d been taught to sit in the saddle as she trotted and galloped… was adding an incredible new dimension to riding her Daddy.
It wasn’t exactly like being in the saddle. She didn’t need to raise up quite so high for one thing, but she used the posture she’d learned, and she let her hips swing forward as she moved, the way she did while trotting. It might have been the first time she felt completely confident on top.
The flexing and tightening of her backside as she moved was a no-no on the horse, but a yes-yes for her Daddy, who was already struggling to hold back just a little longer. Between gritted teeth, he said, “Damn, girl. Should have signed you up for riding lessons sooner.” It was the last coherent thing he said, because just then she settled all the way down and began to circle her hips as she ground against him.
He sucked in a breath and then his hips were snapping up hard and fast. His hands grabbed her at the waist and held her there while he slammed up into her body. He cried out, or maybe she did, she couldn’t tell anymore.
All she knew was that another climax was on the way, and when she tightened her rippling core around his length, it pulled him over the edge with her. With a harsh shout and one last shuddering thrust, it was over—for the moment.
She fell forward, sprawled across his chest. Her heartbeat thundered in her ears and her breathing came in harsh pants that turned into shaky laughter after a minute. “That was amazing. Let’s do it again,” she said breathlessly.
Carter groaned. “Are you trying to kill me, sweetheart? I’m going to need a minute.” His arms wrapped around her, pinning her against him, and then he laughed too as he plucked a rose petal out of her hair.
Allegra wasn’t really ready for another round anyway. Her entire body was lit up. Every nerve ending seemed to be on fire. Even the air blowing across her damp skin was enough to make her shudder and twitch. Neither of them moved for a while.
When she finally forced herself to roll off of him, it was because the drying sweat was making their skin stick, and it was getting uncomfortable. “Shower?” she suggested.
He turned his head and cracked one eye to look at her. “I guess we both need one, but if we go together … you know what’ll happen.”
She did.
They went together anyway and after the hot spray brought back some of their energy, she got her round two. It wasn’t as intense, though Carter slipping on the wet floor just as he came and almost falling through the glass door did add some unexpected excitement. After that they decided it was safer in bed.
They fed each other strawberries and talked until they finally fell asleep, but early in the pre-dawn morning, she woke up suddenly from a dream that left her feeling anxious. It was a work dream. They were caused by stress and usually ruined her sleep. It was the first she’d had since they left the city.
It took a while for the anxiety to die down, and it was impossible to sleep after. Once it had been brought to mind, she couldn’t help thinking about her situation. So much work wasted if she left, but… was Edward ever going to follow through? Carter had probably been right about him.
She lay there in the dark, turning over options until finally, she couldn’t stand it anymore. Taking care not to wake her husband, she slid out of bed and tiptoed across the room to grab her laptop out of her bag. She took it into the bathroom and closed the door.
