And then he says the one thing I wasn’t expecting. The one thing that has my heart stuttering, my pussy flooding, and my brain wondering just how deep in over my head I am.

“But you can just call us Daddy.”

Chapter Three

Tripp

I had clocked her the second we walked in and one look at her had made my spent cock go rock hard. She’s older than us, I’m pretty sure, but she has perky breasts underneath her fitted purple tee, and her dark-wash jeans hug her hips, accentuating an ass that just won’t quit. There’s no ring on her finger either. That was the second thing I’d noticed.

She has a beautiful smile, full pink lips and sparkling teeth.

And her smile doesn’t even falter when I tell her to call us Daddy.

She smirks, raising her brows and replies, “Sounds kinky.”

Oh she is so ours.

I shrug. “Maybe. How do you feel about that?”

Her cheeks flush. She looks down at the bar top then up to meet my eyes. “I might like it.”

“Well that seems fortuitous. How about we pick you up at midnight?”

Beside me Levi clears his throat. I know exactly what his issue is. I’m normally very strict about getting a full eight hours before showtime, and going through a rigorous morning routine of workout, meditation and practice. A date of any kind does not fit into my schedule. But this is an exception I’m willing to make. This girl. This town. This night. I have a very good feeling about all of it.

Marci doesn’t look as certain. The corners of her mouth twist into a frown. “So the date starts at midnight? You do realize this town closes down at sunset? Aside from the twenty-four-hour corner store, there’s not a thing for us to do at that time.”

“We’re aware how small towns work. But we figured you could always come back to our place. We’ve got a nice little trailer at a park just outside town.”

“I don’t put out on a first date,” Marci says wryly.

“And we don’t indulge our carnal desires the day before a show. So we’re on the same page. So, Marci, what do you say?”

She still looks dubious. “What are we gonna do then? Wouldn’t it be better to just wait, and like meet up in the morning for breakfast or something? It would make more sense.”

“It would,” I agree cheerfully, then grab her hand. “But here’s the thing. I’ve got a good feeling, and I don’t want to waste a minute that we could be getting to know you.”

“That’s very… swoon-worthy and suave. But again, it’ll be midnight and there’s nothing to do. So if sex is off the table, what would be the point?”

“Don’t question it, Marci! Just live a little.” A curvy brunette appears beside her, smacking her on the arm. “You promised!”

Another waitress, I assume. But then she sticks her hand out, and when I take it she says, “Calliope King, mayor. Welcome to Blue River. You’re here for the rodeo, I presume?”

“You presume correctly, Madame Mayor. We’re here for the rodeo, and maybe a little fun. Thinking about maybe sticking around for a while. If the scenery happens to catch our interest.”

“Oh, I see.” Calliope beams. “Well I'm certain you’ll find our little town to be just what you’re looking for. And I’m just as certain that Marci here would love to be the one to show you all the sights, and erm… the ins and outs of Blue River. She just loves doing her civic duty.”

“I’m gonna kill you,” Marci mutters to her friend through clenched teeth.

The mayor ignores her and flashes me a mega-watt smile. Her gaze darts to Levi and back again. “You know, Marci is part of the town Welcome Wagon. So I think you picked the exact perfect person to introduce you to everything our little town has to offer.”

“Well now,’ I drawl, “isn’t that just perfect?”

Madame Mayor nods, still looking between the three of us. “If I dare say, I think you’ll find that Blue River is the perfect place for you to settle down.”

Levi speaks up. “Only if we win.” He rolls his eyes. “Tripp’s kind of superstitious that way.”

“Oh.” Marci and the Mayor blink in unison. The mayor recovers first. “Well then, I wish you a very fortuitous ride. Both of you. Or should I say all three of you.”

Marci’s cheeks flame and her eyes about bulge out of their sockets. “Calliope!”

The mayor giggles, waves, and gets out of there as quickly as she had appeared, leaving Marci staring after her, shaking her head, her cheeks still brilliantly flushed.

Her hand flies to her chest and rests there, as if trying to calm a racing heartbeat. Finally she turns to us. “Calliope is… young. Well, younger than me. Probably closer to your age. She’s… very… presumptuous. I’m sorry. Ignore her.”
