“Is that what you want, little red?” Lycan murmurs in my other ear and I swear I’m about to explode. My stomach coils with need, my core pulses with desire as lust shoots through every inch of me.

“I-I…” Words fail me when I feel two sets of hands trailing down my body, Lycan stops his exploration on my ass, while Darius’s touch lingers on my shoulders, down my front until my nipples pebble against the flimsy material of my dress and against his palms. Finally finding my voice, I respond, “I do.” And I can feel my husband’s smile on my face when he presses a chaste kiss to my cheek.

“Good girl,” he says, his voice more normal than it was seconds ago. “Let’s have dinner and a glass of wine, and afterward, we’ll have dessert.” When he steps away from me, I can’t help but shiver from the cold.

Darius’s hands drop to mine as he takes them both and lifts them to his mouth. He presses soft kisses on my knuckles before he also releases me, and I follow them both into the dining room where we find the table set for three.

As we make our way to the place settings, I realize it’s going to be a very long night. They’re going to drag this out, ensure that anticipation kills me before I ever find the release I crave.

And that’s going to drive me mad.

Today’s meeting went well.

Kahn asked me to allow him to go with Alex when they found out Lorenzo was in Hawaii. He didn’t need to ask my permission because this is his fight, but I granted his request anyway. Knowing he’ll find some form of closure has calmed me.

I wanted him to find his sister. Nothing could ever compare to losing a loved one, someone so close to you. Especially with how young she was at the time of her kidnapping has vengeance ringing in my blood, so I can’t imagine how he feels. He needs this, and I will never stop him from finding closure.

I pray she’s still alive, but then again, knowing what those bastards are capable of when it comes to their prey, there’s no telling what he’ll find. But this is something he needs to do. With Grace now locked up, I’m thankful the only thing on my to do list this evening is to show my wife an evening of release.

We haven’t spoken about Grace being taken, and we also haven’t spoken about the truths that surfaced when we had her here, in this room, but that will come. I needed to ensure Kahn had his path set out before him, and now that I’m home, I’ll make sure my wife can talk to me when she’s ready.

The table looks amazing, the food smells incredible, and as I wait for Scarlett to settle into her chair, I can’t help but feel happy for the first time in a long while. I didn’t expect things to be so easy, but Grace walked away without a fight.

Acknowledging you’re guilty, and finally having to pay for it makes you accept your fate. She chose wrong, that’s what Scarlett told her, and when she looked at me, I saw it in her eyes—she knew she made the wrong choices in her life.

Even if she didn’t want to marry my father, she could have stood up to her husband, the bastard who murdered him. But she chose to stay silent about what he had done. She went on with her life and we had to live with the pain of not knowing the truth.

“Are you okay?” Scarlett asks, as Darius and I seat ourselves. “What happened at the meeting?” Those wide eyes I’ve come to love focuses on me, looking right through the worries racing through my mind, seeing my soul.

“Yes. Kahn and Alex will be going to pay Lorenzo a visit. For tonight, we don’t talk about anything other than happy things, like our future,” I tell her. “Tomorrow, when the sun rises again, we’ll delve into the secrets and truths we learned today. Can you do that for me?” I ask her as I take her hand in mine.

A soft smile curves her lips, and she nods. “Of course,” she answers. “I just wanted to make sure you’re both okay.” Those pretty eyes I’m addicted to slide between me and Darius. My own gaze trails over her sleek locks, those plump fucking lips, and down to her tits, which are barely contained in the skimpy dress she chose.

She’s done it on purpose. My wife knows she’s taunting us and she’s enjoying the power she has over both of us. I’ve been hard since I saw her walk down those stairs, and if I know Darius, he’s probably just as turned on.

“I’m all good, little one,” he tells her confidently before popping his fork with a sliver of steak into his mouth. But even as he enjoys his dinner, his gaze never leaves Scarlett. I settle back in my chair and watch my wife eat her dinner.
