I slip from the bed, when I suddenly remember one other little detail.

Right, I have no clothes. Which means I need to actually leave like now to get back to the dorms and get dressed for class in my uniform. And somehow, I need to do this creeping back in wearing a trench coat and stilettos. Yeah, not suspicious or scandalizing at all.

I groan as I walk to the door in my shorts and t-shirt Colton leant me, holding my coat, shoes, and purse. But when I open the door, I stop short. There, folded on the floor, is a pair of Winchester Academy girls running shorts, a Winchester hoodie, and even a pair of flip flops. Slowly, I smile.

I head downstairs holding everything, my stomach growling at the scent of bacon and eggs coming from the kitchen.

“Morning.”

Any thought I had at playing it cool goes right out the window the second he looks at me. And I blush hard, stammering as I smile awkwardly.

“Um, morning,” I say quietly before I glance down at the clothes in my hand.

Colton chuckles. “I figured walking back across campus in a trench coat and heels might look a little…” he arches his brows, and I groan.

“Slutty?”

He laughs. “I was going to say you looked like a spy, actually.”

“Yeah, a hooker spy.”

He grins. “Well, the campus store is open early.”

A smile teases my lips. “You got all of this for me?”

“I don’t think those shorts will fit me, but I could give it a shot.”

I giggle, blushing as I look down, and then back at him.

“Thank you, Colton,” I say quietly.

“No problem. You want some breakfast?”

My stomach gurgles, but when I glance at the clock, I make a face. “I need to get going so I can get ready before class.”

He nods. “Fair enough. Coffee?”

“Fuck yes.” My eyes go wide as I catch myself, but he just chuckles and passes me a mug.

“Cream and sugar are on the counter there.”

Don’t think about his cock. Don’t think about his cock. Don’t think about his cock.

My face burns hot.

And don’t think about him moaning your name when he CAME.

I swallow thickly, blinking as I realize he’s looking at me funny, still holding the coffee.

“Uh, thanks.”

I take the mug and stir in one sugar before bringing it to my lips.

“So, you’re not going back to that club.”

I look up to see him looking at me with stern eyes. I shrug.

“I don’t know what else to do. I mean, they say I owe that money my dad stole.”

“Yeah, well, you’re still not going back there,” he growls.

I look down into my coffee. “I don’t know what to do.”

“We’re going to figure that out.”

I shake my head. “And next semester? What am I going to do instead? Go get a job as a barista or something? I mean how much is tuition at Winchester again?”

Colton’s face darkens.

“A hundred thousand a year.”

I bark out a bitter laugh as my face pales. “Fuck. Yeah, I’m not sure I’m going to pull that off working at fucking Starbucks.”

His jaw tightens as he shakes his head. “I’ll talk to the school board. I know they can make exceptions for economic hardship.”

I snort. “At Winchester?”

Colton smiles wryly. “It’s rare, but I’ll make them push it through. You’ve got great grades, and you’ve been doing fantastic on the swim team this year.”

I nod, looking at him, and my thoughts, in spite of my best efforts, going right back to last night, and the image of him stroking his big dick as he growled my name.

“Brynn?”

I blink, blushing furiously as I focus on him again.

“You okay?”

“Hmm?” I swallow, my face hot as I quickly nod. “Oh, yeah, I’m just…” I trial off, looking for words.

“It’s been a long twenty-four hours,” he growls, stepping around to my side of the kitchen island and smiling kindly at me.

“Thank you,” I whisper, sighing. “For everything. I honestly don’t even know how to repay—”

“You don’t,” he growls, shrugging.

“But really, thank you.”

“My pleasure, Brynn.”

Baby girl, I think inside, remembering his words from last night.

He clears his throat, looking away before he suddenly swears.

“Fuck it,” he growls.

“Colton?”

“You can stay here, you know.”

I blink. “What?”

“I mean, look, the dorms are totally safe. There’s a security guard at the entrance, and we’ve got well trained security all over the grounds at night. But, if you don’t feel safe there, you can stay here,” he growls.

Heat teases through me, and I shiver.

“With you?”

He nods.

“I…” I blush. “I couldn’t.”

“You can. Well,” he frowns. “I think we both know it wouldn’t exactly be good to spread that around, seeing as… well, for obvious reasons.”

I grin. “Oh, the scandal.”

But the second I say it, my dirty mind goes to all sorts of “scandalous” situations involving Colton and I, and my face burns hot.

He clears his throat. “Think about it. The guest room is yours for as long as it takes to figure all of this out. And I mean that.”
