“I need to head back home. My sister’s going to wonder where I am since it’s Thursday evening.”

“Tell her you have to work late for a party and you’ll be spending the night in the guest rooms because they’ll need help with the clean-up tomorrow.”

“Is that true?”

“No, but I’m not ready to share you yet, and I’m guessing you’re not ready to tell your sister about us, are you?”

“No. She’ll want me to quit, and she’ll want to know what you do for a living.”

“Exactly, so for a day or two, we’ll enjoy our time like this,” I insist. It’s not what I have in mind, but that’s what I want her to think until I can convince her to marry me.

****

“Did you sleep well?”

“I did.” Last night was fantastic, and she hadn’t stressed too much after she told her sister that she had to work late and then would be helping with the party clean-up the next day, so she was staying overnight instead of going back to the apartment.

Her older sister May has to work so it isn’t a big deal, but she is suspicious and concerned. June promises to send her a text message in the morning to reassure her everything is fine, just to assuage her worries.

She’s already sitting up in bed with her phone in hand. “Are you texting your sister?”

“She sent me a message this morning. It’s weird,” she says, staring at the message, typing and then deleting something.

“What does it say?” I ask.

“That she’s going out of town to help a coworker, and she won’t be in contact for a couple of days since it’s in the boonies. I don’t believe it. I need to call her because it’s not like May at all.” She presses send and jumps off the bed in my shirt looking sexy as fuck, even though she’s nervously pacing. I grab her hand and stop her, sitting her on the bed and massaging her shoulders so I can intentionally listen in to the call.

The phone rings and rings. “June,” her sister answers on the last ring.

“Hey, what the hell is that message all about?” June snaps as soon as May answers.

“Seriously, girl. I told you. I’m on my way there now.” Her voice sounds too groggy to be someone driving.

“Actually, your text didn’t say shit.”

“Listen, her mom takes care of her grandparents, but her mom’s ill. She can’t leave because she has kids and a dick husband, so she asked me if I could do it. They are willing to pay me, so I told Coleman I quit last night. I only had a week left, anyway.”

“Okay. Seriously. You’ve got me worried. You never do anything like this. Does January know where you’re going?” I had to think about who the January chick was, but then I remember it’s the roommate.

“I sent her a message, but she’s on assignment with that asshole boss of hers.”

“Oh, no. She’s with that fucking pervert. I thought she was going to report him or something.”

“Possibly, but it’s not safe.”

“What about the whole thing with your boss? I know she was working on that story of him and his dealings.” Fuck. She’s doing a scoop on Coleman. Fucking hell.

“Ouch.” June flinches and gasps. I didn’t realize the tension in my grip, which I quickly release.

“I’m so sorry.”

“What’s going on?” May asks.

“One of the cleaning crew accidentally bumped me with a cart.” She turns her head and smiles up at me. I lean down and suck on her neck, causing her to moan.

“Oh, are you okay?” May asks.

“Yeah, just a small ache.” June’s eyes are trained on me.

“Well, I’ve got to go. Be careful. I’ll call in a few days and check on you.”

“Okay. I love you.”

“I love you, too.” I take the phone and end the call.

“A small ache? Is there any way I can make it better?”

“Yes, I believe there is.”

“Where is the ache?” I kiss her shoulder where I gripped it too hard, knowing it’s not the spot she means. “Is it here?”

She shakes her head slightly. “No.”

“Lower?” I question, raising my left brow with a smirk. Her pussy is probably a sloppy mess, or it will be once I’m done with it. My boxers will be that way shortly unless I get them off.

“Yes.” The breathy whisper that escapes her pouty lips goes straight to my balls. We may have fucked three times last night, but I’m fully ready to go another six rounds today. My dick throbs against the boxers I slid on last night to keep myself under control. Precum coats the material as I stare at my woman in my wrinkled dress shirt that’s partially buttoned.

Circling my index finger around her soft areolas, I ask, “Here?”

“Only a little.” I pop open the buttons, freeing her chest to my view. Fuck, I could die a happy man just like this. She has a small birthmark right under her left breast and I lick it before pressing a kiss to the spot, but that’s not enough for either of us. Swiping my tongue over the pink berry nipple, I let it stiffen under my mouth before sucking hard, causing my beloved to arch up and moan.
