She felt the hard press of his cock as he slid inside her, inch by inch. Savage held her in place as he slammed balls-deep inside her, but he wasn’t done with her. He pulled out of her until just the tip was inside her, and then he sped up, taking her breath away as he fucked her hard and fast.

The dining room table didn’t move and that was when she realized it was nailed to the floor to keep it in place.

He growled her name against her flesh. She didn’t want it to stop as it felt so good.

In and out he thrust and it drove her crazy, and she felt when he was getting close to his own orgasm as he sped up, driving hard inside her, then he came apart and she felt each pulse as it filled her with wave upon wave of cum. She didn’t know if she should remind him that she wasn’t on the pill, and each time they didn’t use a condom, it came with a higher risk.

“Hey,” she said. “I missed you.”

He kissed her lips. “I missed you too.”

She licked her suddenly dry lips, and neither of them moved. “Did you have a good day?”

Savage chuckled. “I did a lot of club stuff. Yourself?”

“The usual, although I was able to do an everyday look on a sixteen-year-old today with Maeve’s supervision. That was awesome. Also, my mom stopped by and we went out for lunch.” She wrinkled her nose. “I think she’s afraid I like Maeve a lot more than I like her.” She shrugged.

“Do you?”

“I adore Maeve. She’s a good friend, and even though she does treat me like an adult, it doesn’t stop me from loving my mom, and I do love her. She means the world to me. I love her so much.”

He stroked the hair off her face.

“But I don’t get it,” Charlotte said.

“Get what?”

“Why she’s not leaving. She doesn’t want to stick around Rivermont Ridge, but she isn’t leaving. I’m happy and I can survive on my own, yet it’s like she doesn’t trust my dad.”

“I’m sure she does,” Savage said.

“I just want her to be happy.”

“Trust me, Nancy will go when she’s good and ready.” He kissed her shoulder. “Are you hungry?”

“Yeah, I’m starving.”

“Do you want home-cooked food or takeout?” he asked.

This made her giggle. “Do you want me to cook?”

“If you don’t mind, but if you want takeout, I can order.”

She laughed. “I’ll go get cleaned up and cook us something. So, what did you do today?”

“I went to see Jimmy, the real estate guy.”

“Ah, I know Jimmy,” Charlotte said.

“Do you like him?” Savage asked.

“He’s always polite, so there’s nothing wrong with him. He always complains he gets a bad rep because of being in real estate and all he wants is to let people find their dream homes.” She shrugged. “I’ve not really had many dealings with him, in all honesty. Why?”

“Do you know if he had a bad reputation, or have you heard anything about it?” he asked.

She sat back and shook her head. “No, I’ve not heard anything. Why? What’s going on?”

“Just a few things he said.”

“I know he’s a happily married man with a couple of kids, but if there is anyone you want to talk to, it will probably be my mother. She tends to know everyone’s business, even when they don’t want her to know.” She looked toward Savage, wishing she could have been more help.

“I better go and get cleaned up,” she said, pulling away from him and making her way into the bathroom.

She went to use the bathroom, but let out a gasp as Savage suddenly grabbed her around the waist.

“What are you doing?” she asked, laughing as he carried her into the shower stall.

“Cleaning up. We can both save the environment and do it together.”

This made her laugh, however, the moment the water turned on, Savage pushed her out of the way of the spray. She watched him as he had her pressed up against the shower. His impressive body kept her covered from the coldness of the spray.

Savage reached up and cupped her chin, and she tilted her head back to look up at him. She promised herself she was just going to get washed, then she’d go and fix them something to eat. However, it was like he read her mind and didn’t want her to go and be the good girl. The way he gripped her chin and pulled her in close, she felt his breath against her face. She didn’t fight him, not that there was any point. All she could do was feel.

He leaned in close, and then his lips pecked hers. That was all it was, at first. A tiny small kiss, and Charlotte leaned in a little closer so their bodies were flush against each other.
