“We’re back,” Eli said. “Huh, what’s going on here, then?”
Horse let out a bark and then a growl.
“It’s all right, Horse,” Kellan said. “Just having a discussion with your mama about her use of the term ‘drama queen.’”
Eli snorted and walked closer to stand on one side of them. “Did you call Kellan a drama queen, baby? That was very brave of you.”
“Well, he was making a big deal out of the fact that I tried to pay for dinner.”
Eli’s eyes narrowed. “Is that so? You think being upset about that is over-the-top?”
“Yes, I do!”
“We already told you that you weren’t to try and pay for anything,” Eli told her. “And then you went and tried to pay for all of our dinners!”
“No, you told me that we don’t owe each other in a relationship. Which is completely different.”
“Ahh, no, it’s not,” Kellan disagreed. “But let’s make this completely clear. We
pay for things. You don’t.”
Her mouth dropped open. “Um, what?”
“It’s just like Kellan said,” Eli told her. “We pay. You don’t. We stay at a hotel. We pay the bill. We buy a house. We pay the mortgage, the utilities, the food, everything. We go out for dinner, lunch, coffee. We. Pay.”
“That’s not fair,” she said.
“On who?” Eli asked.
“You guys! You shouldn’t pay everything for me. That’s your money.”
“And that’s what you don’t seem to understand,” Eli told her. “There’s no you in this relationship. There’s us. Your debts, your bills, your expenses are ours.”
“Then yours are mine,” she told them.
Ah-ha. She had them now.
“No.” That was all Kellan said.
“No?” she asked.
“No,” he repeated.
“That’s all you have to say?”
“Oh, I have more to say,” Eli murmured. “Like why don’t you lie down on the bed so we can ravage that gorgeous body of yours?”
Yikes.
“So this conversation is just closed? I don’t get an opinion?”
Kellan stepped back and started to strip off his clothes, leaving Eli standing in front of her.
He brushed back her hair. “You always get an opinion, baby. And we will always listen. But we’ve told you how we feel about taking care of you. It’s what we want to do. What we need to do. And we wouldn’t feel like us if we let you pay for things for us.”
“I don’t want you guys to get tired of that, though. I don’t want you to feel like I’m with you for what you can buy me.”
“Believe me. We don’t think that,” Eli reassured her.
“Yes. We know you’re with us for our hot bodies,” Kellan added.
There went his sense of humor again.
Although when she glanced over at him and saw his naked body . . . holy heck.
Maybe that was part of it.
He. Was. Gorgeous.
She didn’t think she’d ever get tired of looking at him. Eli slept in pajama bottoms, with his chest bare. And he liked to cuddle so she got to spend lots of time snuggled into his bare skin.
However, Kellan barely slept and when he did it was in full pajamas.
So this felt like it was Christmas day and she had just unwrapped an amazing present.
“You’re so sexy,” she said, her gaze moving over his chest and lower.
To his firm, thick dick.
Holy. Heck.
How was that going to work?
“Don’t stress,” Eli told her. “You’re under no pressure to take us tonight.” He drew her away from the wall, then stood behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist.
She noticed that Horse had disappeared to his bed in the living area.
Probably for the best. He didn’t need to see this.
Kellan backed up and closed the door. She winced, waiting for Horse to cry. But there were no noises. Thank goodness.
Eli reached for the bottom of her top as Kellan turned back toward them, leaning on the door. Reaching down, he started to stroke his cock.
Up and down.
Lazy movements that had her fixated as Eli slowly removed her top until she was just wearing her bra and pants.
She’d bought a new bra that fit from a shop in Freestown since Haven didn’t have anything like that.
“How does this feel?” Eli asked. “Too much too soon?”
She shook her head.
“No, don’t answer straight away,” he said to her. “Stop and think about it. Does it feel all right?”
She paused and took stock of her feelings. All she felt was hot and needy.
“It does. Really.”
“You’re so brave. I love how much trust you have in us,” Eli said as he moved to strip off her pants.
Then she was just in her panties and bra. And there wasn’t any trepidation.
Because she knew she could trust them.
“We’re going to give you a safeword,” Eli told her as he stood and laid kisses along her neck and down her shoulder. “Not because we’re going to play, but because you might have triggers we’re not aware of. All right?”
“Kellan told me to say Red.”
“Good,” Eli told her.
