He's the youngest coach in the league, and she's your captain's younger sister.

Victoria

Being offered a job in a brand-new city wasn’t something I was planning on.
Neither was meeting him at a random hotel bar that same night.
We shared a drink, flirted, and then one thing led to another.
We exchanged first names, and I escaped the next morning with a quick goodbye.
I never expected to see him again.
I especially never expected him to come face-to-face with him at my brother’s house.
As the new coach of the team.

Zane

I was the youngest coach in the NHL.
I had to focus on one thing and one thing only.
My job.
It’s the only thing I had time for.
Until I came face-to-face with the stranger I thought I would never see again.
She’s off-limits in every sense of the word.
Not just because she’s younger than me.
She’s the sister to my star player

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

one

Victoria

“Who is your favorite auntie?” I look over at my nephew who knows about three words. “Can you say Auntie Tori?” I ask him as he yaps away with nonsense sounds followed by a big glop of drool pouring out of his mouth. “So we have to work on that,” I tell him as he smiles at me. “Do you think we can do that? You can do it.” I clap my hands. “Auntie Tori,” I repeat.

“Dadadadadadada,” Jagger says, clapping his hands and smiling like he just said what I said.

“Don’t tell him this, but your dad is super annoying. He’s not as cool as you think he is. I know he tries to pretend he’s cool, but he’s not,” I tell him, as he stares at me, interested in everything I’m saying. “You look like him.” I tap his little nose with my finger. “It might be a curse.”

“What are you teaching my child?” My brother, Jaxon, walks into the living room, tossing his suit jacket on the back of the couch as he sidesteps some of Jagger’s toys that are all over the place. Jagger is standing wearing a pair of black pants and a white T-shirt. He’s holding a plastic golf club in his hand as he looks over to where my brother is making his way to us.

“Dadadadadada.” He drops the plastic golf club and runs toward Jaxon, who squats down and grabs him, tossing him in the air. His laughing squeal fills the room, and I just smile at the two of them. Jaxon buries his face in Jagger’s neck and his head flies back, soft brown hair moving side to side as his chubby fists wrap around Jaxon’s neck.

“Hello, my boy,” he greets him as he settles Jagger on his hip. “How is my Jagger doing?”

“Dadadad.”

“Yeah, that’s the only thing this kid knows how to say,” I mumble. Jaxon walks to the side of the couch and sits down on the floor in front of me as Jagger gets up and goes back to his plastic golf club. “Jagger,” I call his name and he looks at me. “Who is your favorite Auntie?” I ask him and he walks over to the red plastic golf ball like I’m not talking to him. “Auntie TT,” I tell him.

“That’s not even your name.” Jaxon laughs.

“It’s easier to say TT than it is to say Tori,” I snap at him. “Jagger, Auntie TT.”

“Debada debada,” he chatters, and I shake my head.

“It sounds like he’s a late bloomer, just like you.” I goad, trying not to laugh when Jaxon’s face goes white. “I’m kidding,” I say, getting up from the floor. “He is your son after all, it makes sense,” I tease him like any little sister would. Makes up for all the times he teased me growing up. “You don’t like that, huh? Payback is a bitch.” I point at him.

“Tori,” he hisses, and I laugh.

“I’m kidding,” I repeat, walking to the kitchen that is right off the family room, “it’s a joke.”

“It’s not funny,” he grumbles. “Jagger, what’s this?” He holds up the red golf ball.

“Ball,” he answers and Jaxon smiles at me.

“I’d be a little more impressed if he said red ball.” I lean on the counter as Ariella comes into the room.

“Okay,” she says, “you can go and take your shower now.” She walks toward the living room wearing a pair of jeans and a Warriors T-shirt tucked into the waistband. Her eyes light up when she sees Jaxon. “I thought you were gone.”

“I’m about to head out,” he says and tilts his head so she can bend to kiss his lips. The two of them hooked up one night, almost two years ago, and in a very surprising twist for both of them, out came Jagger. They were not the only ones that were surprised. It was a shock to all of us, especially our fathers who were retired hockey teammates and best friends. Now it feels like they’ve always been together. “My sister is being kicked out of our home.”
From Wall Street Journal and USA TODAY bestselling author Natasha Madison comes a brand new hockey romance.

Kylie
I learned early in life that love isn't just given, it's earned.
Now I've decided love isn't worth it.
At least that type of love.
Until him.
He was broken.
It was safe.
But then I went and did the unexpected.
I fell in love with him, knowing he would never love me back.

Knox
I thought I had it all.
I was playing hockey in the NHL.
Three beautiful kids and a wife who loved me.
Until I walked in on her in bed with my brother-in-law.
Everything I thought I had was a lie.
She was everything I thought I didn't want, and when I least expected it.
I just hope when I finally figure it out, I haven't lost her for good

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

To the first man I ever fell in love with.

Dad.

one

Knox

I pull out my keycard and swipe it on the black magnetic strip, waiting for the garage door to open. Advancing just a touch when the door starts to slide up, I drive down the ramp and look over to see Clive, the valet guy, is waiting for us to arrive. He gets out of his chair and walks over to where we usually stop. Putting the SUV in park, I open the door. “Morning, Clive.” I smile over at him. “How’s it going?”

"Could be better,” he says, and I nod at him, knowing the feeling, “but there’s always next year.”

“Coming back better and stronger.” I slap him on the arm as he passes me to go to the driver’s seat, and I walk over to the black steel door and pull it open.

I step into the hallway and see a bustle of activity coming from the front offices, different coaching staff people walking in and out of the doorways. “Hey,” I say to a couple of them as I walk down to the locker room.

The hallway is bare now that the season is over, no sticks lined up outside the room. No equipment staff running in and out with skates in their hands to sharpen or fix. Stepping into the room, I see most of the guys are already here. “Hey,” I greet to the room, walking over to my spot on the bench right under my name.

“Hey,” Jaxon, my teammate and our team’s best defensemen says, looking over his shoulder at me, giving me a chin up. “How you doing?” he asks me as he reaches for something on his shelf and tosses it in his duffel bag on the bench.

“Sucks.” I shrug, trying not to feel the dread of another season that has come and gone with us not winning the Stanley Cup. “But it is what it is.”

“Getting knocked out while in the wild card spot is harder than not making the playoffs,” he says. “It isn’t something anyone wants to happen, especially when it went to the last game of the season.”

He’s not wrong about that. We were tied with the Edmonton team for the wild card spot, and we had the same number of points, but they had an extra game in hand. It was our last game of the season and felt like playoff hockey already. We were going on a five-game winning streak on top of that. All eyes were on us; everyone was ready for that first round of playoffs.

But the hockey gods had other plans for us. We needed one freaking point to be contenders but lost the last game of the season. I’m pretty sure it sucked as much as going to the final round in the playoffs and losing that chance to hoist the Cup. At least that is how it felt for me.

That was last week and now we were asked to all come in today to do final interviews with the press and pack up our lockers. You never know what can happen over the summer break, even if I have a contract with the team for the next two years. I’ve seen it time in and time out; trades happen in the summer. Here today, gone tomorrow. I’ve been at this game for the last twelve years, and I’ve been lucky to only be hit with a trade once. That trade brought me from Montreal to the LA Warriors, done in the summer months.

I want to say I didn’t know it was coming, but my contract was up, and they were trying to wring me to take less than I knew I was worth. My agent at the time was looking out for me and didn’t back down. He took a couple of calls from other general managers, and I gave him four teams I’d be okay with being traded to. LA was one of them and then, in the span of three hours, I was traded. I was in the middle of my honeymoon on a boat in Capri when it happened. Josephine was beside herself since she’s from Montreal. Her whole family was from there and now she had to move to the other side of the continent. It took her a full year of going back and forth for her to finally settle in LA, but it was only because she was pregnant at that point. Now that she’s here, she loves every single thing about the city.

“Morning,” Kirby, the other top defenseman says, coming into the room. His phone in his hand, he tucks it in the back pocket of his shorts. “This fucking sucks,” he mumbles as he walks past me, slapping me on my back.

“It just makes you want it more next year,” I reply as I stand in front of my locker. “What’s going to suck more is the exit interviews.”
From Wall Street Journal and USA TODAY bestselling author Natasha Madison comes a brand new sports romance.
A spin-off from the This Is Series.

Lexi
Falling for a famous hockey player? I would have laughed at you.
I was trapped in a marriage-caged with cruelty.
I wasn’t ever going to be free.
Until I found a way to escape.
Before him, I thought love was a nightmare.
Now I dared to dream.

Kirby
First time I met her I was drawn to her light.
Then I saw the fear in her eyes.
Fear I’ve seen before.
Our chance encounter turned into two.
If she ever needed me, I’d be there.
I never dared to want her.
But I lost my heart to her anyways

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

one

Lexi

“Good class,” the Pilates instructor, Chelsea, says as she claps her hands. “You guys did great!”

I smile at her and get off my Pilates reformer, walking over to grab the spray bottle; my legs buckling a bit after the workout I just did. I spray the disinfectant on my machine before wiping it down.

“Thank you again, Chelsea,” I say, picking up my water and returning the spray bottle near the front of the room.

Snatching my keys and phone from one of the wooden cubbies at the front door, I head out into the Arizona heat. The sun is already scorching even though it’s just a little before 7:00 a.m. I press the unlock button and slide into my champagne-colored Bentley, a birthday gift two months ago.

I start the car and pull out of the parking lot to head home. The soft music plays in the background, a classical number, something I never thought I would come to like, but with time it grew on me. The mountains in the distance fill up my view as I make my way into the gated community my husband and I live in.

Driving past the golf course, I pull in front of my black garage door and turn the car off, grabbing my stuff before walking past the four other garage doors, which are all closed with no cars parked in front of them. The first garage door holds Trent’s everyday Land Rover. The second one holds his BMW, which he drives on occasion. The third has the golf cart he takes when he’s going to play golf, and the fourth is the Rolls-Royce he bought himself as a gift. That one he only uses when he wants to show off. Walking past the windows I know are in my dining room, I see the shades are still drawn. I look down at my running shoes as I turn and walk down the white bricked walkway toward the front door.

I open the front door and put my keys on the glass table by the door next to a green-colored vase with fresh white roses. Something that is replaced every couple of days. I untie my shoes before kicking them off and placing them in the sliding door closet on my right and slip on my indoor slippers before walking toward the kitchen.

I pass the formal dining room on my left, where we entertain all of Trent’s friends. The brown table with ten chairs looks more like it’s a conference room than someplace where you would have your meals and enjoy time with friends.

The whole house has a museum-like feeling to it, something I’ve come to live with. I’ve grown used to the lack of warmth from both the house and our marriage. I turn left when I get to the big open space, going toward the kitchen and stopping in my tracks when I see Trent sitting on one of the stools. My pulse speeds up a bit not expecting him to be up at this time, let alone dressed and sitting at the island. The long marble island off to the left holds six stools. Two chandeliers hang over it with gold wiring. It’s a dream kitchen. Beautiful, opulent, a façade...

“Morning,” I greet him softly. “I didn’t know you would be up so early.” I walk over and kiss his cheek. He’s already dressed in black dress pants and a white button-up shirt, the smell of his aftershave lingers. His black hair is cut perfectly since he goes every two weeks to have it trimmed. It’s also styled perfectly without a hair out of place.

“Is that why you snuck out of the house?” he asks, picking up his cup of coffee from beside him as he scrolls on his massive iPad, reading the news.

“I didn’t sneak out of the house.” My hand moves over the top of the granite island counter gently, feeling the coolness of it, before I pull open one of the fridge doors. I grab the fresh pineapple and strawberries before walking to the butler’s pantry behind the wall of the kitchen. I make my protein shake, adding in half a banana, before walking back out and taking a sip of it.

“Where did you go?” he asks me, not taking his eyes off the iPad.

“I went to the six a.m. Pilates class,” I tell him and his eyes look up at me, before giving the top half of me a look up and down. The frown on his face telling me what I already know. The outfit is going in the donate pile as soon as I wash it.

“Dressed like that?” he asks me. I look down at the white workout T-shirt I have on that shows my black sports bra underneath it and matching black tights. “You’re just giving it away for free now.” He shakes his head.
From Wall Street Journal and USA TODAY bestselling author Natasha Madison comes a brand new sports romance.

A spin-off from the Only One series!

Ariella

The last time I saw him, I’d just turned eighteen.

Six years later we’re face-to-face again.

Neither of us wanted the night to end.

The next morning, we made a pact.

Each of us going our separate ways.

Until two pink lines changed everything.

Jaxon

Life was going my way.

Hockey. Family. All of it.

Until…I saw her.

She was different now.

One thing led to another and we got carried away.

It was supposed to be one night.

Our secret.

Then she’s at my door with news that rocks my world.

I’m going to be a dad

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

one

Jaxon

I slip my leg through the dress pants and repeat the action with the other leg before tucking in the white button-down dress shirt. The tailor-made shirt fits perfectly, just like the blue suit I’m wearing tonight. Grabbing the brown belt, I weave it through the belt loops circling my waist and buckle it in the middle. I look in the mirror, making sure it’s centered, and run my hands through my short, dark-brown hair before moving back to the bedroom, grabbing the bottle of cologne and spraying one shot on the left and another on the right.

I turn the bathroom light off before heading over to the long bench right in front of the king-size bed. My phone rings from the middle of the bed, where I tossed it before I stepped into the shower. Looking down, I see it’s my father calling. Instead of answering it, I press the red button declining the call before grabbing one of the brown shoes and slipping my foot into it.

“Jaxon,” my father yells from down the hall, probably just walking out of his bedroom, “are you almost ready?” The voice gets closer and closer to my door before I hear the knock. “Are you decent?”

I shake my head as I snatch up the second shoe. “Dad, we literally showered at the arena three hours ago, together!” I shout as I tie the laces to the second shoe before he sticks his head into the room. “I’m naked,” I joke with him as I look up at him and finish tying my shoe.

He ignores my joke. “Oh good, you’re dressed.” He pushes the door the rest of the way open before coming in and standing there with his hands on his hips, wearing a black suit with a black button-down shirt. I definitely got my build from my father. He’s six-five and I’m just a touch shorter than him, which is good since we both play the position of defense. His build is broad shouldered, which I also got from him, but he’s thicker in the waist where I’m leaner.

“Did you really call me from inside the house?” I get up before reaching down and grabbing my suit jacket. “You yell at Victoria all the time when she does the same thing.” I mention my younger sister, who we nickname Tori.

His eyes glare at me and I have to bite the inside of my lip to not burst out laughing at him. “That is only because she calls me to bring her a glass of water because she says the kitchen is too far away.” His dark blue eyes say he hates it, but his soft tone says he would do anything for her because she was his first girl. Kiera, on the other hand, who is actually the baby of the family at sixteen, gets away with everything. But then again, I broke them in for Victoria and Kiera. Only then Victoria drove them up the wall from the time she started walking. The more you told her no, the more she was like “yeah, okay, I’m going to do that anyway.”

“You were the one who begged her not to move away for school, so you have no one but yourself to blame.” I raise my eyebrows.

“I didn’t think she would actually do it. She wanted to spread her wings.” He looks over his shoulder to make sure that it’s just the two of us. When the time came around to pick a school, she said she wanted to stay local for my parents. However, I think she really wanted to stay local because she was treated like a queen here and didn’t have to do anything for herself. She is about to graduate from the university in the spring and has zero plans of moving out at any time. I seriously think my parents will move out of this house before she does.

“Why would she leave?” I pull the cuffs out of my jacket before walking over to my dresser and grabbing one of the cuff links, putting one in before grabbing the other one. My parents gave me these for Christmas one year. They have my initials engraved on them and I only use them for special occasions. I figure tonight is one. “She has all her bills paid for. She made her bedroom a suite with a sitting area. She comes and goes as she pleases; her food is cooked for her. She has everything she needs, and she doesn’t have to do anything because her father does it for her.” I tilt my head to the side when I grab my watch and place it on my wrist. The silver Rolex was a gift my parents got me the day I got drafted into the NHL. Even though I've gotten myself quite a few watches over the years, this is the one I usually wear.
