Welcome to Little Cakes, the bakery that plays Daddy matchmaker!

Everyone should be bad every once in a while, shouldn’t they?

Gather a group of Littles, and who knows what will happen?

Enjoy the beloved characters of the Little Cakes series as they indulge in a much-needed break from following all the rules, and treat yourself to this sweet and naughty update on each couple's decadent journey to happily-ever-after.

Little Cakes is a sweet and satisfying series, but dare to taste only if you like delicious Daddies, luscious Littles, and guaranteed happily-ever-afters.

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Part One

Chapter One

Can this day get any worse? Ellie lowered the beater into the bowl of the industrial-size mixer and flipped the switch to high. At the last moment, she remembered the shield. As she lunged for the plastic piece that kept everything from flinging out in all directions, the first splotch of the thick yellow mixture exploded.

Thwack! Blinded, Ellie struggled to fix the guard in place as she looked through the blur of what was supposed to become lemon chiffon cupcakes. It wouldn’t slide into place.

“Ellie? The cash register is jammed. I can’t give a customer change,” Riley called out as she walked through the door.

“Fuck!” exploded from Riley’s mouth. “I’m coming, Ellie!”

The next few seconds were like a slow-motion scene from a slapstick comedy as Riley slipped on spilled batter and went careening forward, arms flailing until she slammed into the worktable with a crash.

The industrial table shook from the impact.

“Are you okay?” Ellie asked, throwing the guard to the side and wiping the batter from her eyes just in time to see Riley turn off the mixer.

She looked at her tattooed employee, who now wore a fresh coat of yellow batter and swore. “To hell with this day. It can just go screw itself. I’m going to go turn off the open sign.”

“Not going to happen, Little girl. Cupcake bakeries don’t close when the owner’s having a bad day,” a deep voice rumbled from behind them.

Slowly, the two women turned around to see the baking assistant standing behind them with his hands on his hips. Ellie cocked her head to the side, daring him to laugh and ready to yell, Get him! if he did. She bet they could slather batter from their bodies onto his before he could fend both of them off.

“Don’t even think about it, Little girl.”

Riley immediately looked at Ellie as if trying to figure out what Tarson knew that she didn’t. “Ellie?” she whispered and closed her mouth when her batter-covered boss shook her head in a silent warning.

“With that settled, head to the employee bathroom to get cleaned up. There are fresh aprons and shirts there. I’ll clean up this mess,” Tarson directed.

“Hey, Riley. Did you find…” Sue’s voice stopped abruptly at the sight of two moving batter zombies headed her way.

“Tarson? Can you fix the cash register first?” Ellie asked, near tears.

“On it, boss.”

“We could stick our heads over the dishwasher sink and use that big industrial spray nozzle,” Riley suggested.

“You’ve always wanted to do that, haven’t you?” Ellie asked, feeling the corners of her mouth tilting up at the edges as she looked over at Riley and noting that she pressed a hand to her side.

Ignoring Riley’s batter-laden nod, Ellie asked, “Are you okay? You hit that table hard.”

“I’m fine. I’ll have an enormous bruise tomorrow, I bet.”

“I’m sorry. Want to go home and rest? Maybe we should send you to the doctor.”

“I’ll survive,” Riley shrugged off Ellie’s concern as she stopped in the dishwashing area and nodded toward the sprayer hanging by the dishwasher. “What do you think?”

When Ellie hesitated, Riley walked over to it and leaned forward to spray water over her hair and face. Peeking back at Ellie, she grinned as she rinsed off her arms. “Damn, that’s better. I can see you.”

“Let me in there,” Ellie demanded.

“Here. Let me,” Riley offered, waving Ellie forward to lean over the sink. When her boss was in position, Riley started rinsing the batter away.

She almost had Ellie returned to normal when a familiar voice asked, “You hurt yourself?”

Both women jumped and whirled around. Unfortunately, it appeared Riley’s brain hadn’t told her to stop squeezing the sprayer.

“Whoa! Little girl!” Milo’s voice reprimanded Riley as the front of his paramedic’s uniform got soaked.

“Sorry, Daddy,” Riley apologized and then started laughing.

“I’m not going to ask who thought of cleaning up here. Let me see where you’re hurt,” he said, pointing at a square of linoleum in front of him.

“A bus just pulled up!” Sue called through the kitchen door.

“No time, Daddy!” Riley refused and tried to scoot past him.

When he wrapped his arms around her to hug Riley to him, she groaned. “You’re hurt, Little girl, and not going anywhere until I see what damage you’ve done.”

“Maybe she should go to the hospital?” Ellie suggested, feeling tears gather in her eyes.
Welcome to Little Cakes, the bakery that plays Daddy matchmaker!

From dodging a matchmaking mother to finding her dream Daddy!

Disconcerted by the handsome man who keeps watching her across the restaurant, Maya Rodriguez drops a stack of plastic glasses that clatter to the floor and draws everyone’s attention. After a quick apology, Maya gathers them up with a sigh.

There is no way Deke Monroe is going to sit and watch the curvy woman pick up the mess. Abandoning his street tacos to help, he quickly decides she’s the perfect Little for him. That spark of attraction in her eye will keep him visiting her restaurant every day until she gives him a chance.

Little Cakes is a sweet and satisfying series, but dare to taste only if you like delicious Daddies, luscious Littles, and guaranteed happily-ever-afters.

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter One

“Mom… No. Not again.” Maya rolled her eyes as she reached for the tall stack of plastic cups. They were on a shelf that was almost too high for her to reach.

“He’s a nice man. How will you ever find a husband if you don’t give anyone a chance, Maya?”

Maya finally managed to get her fingers under the corner of one of the cups and lure the entire stack forward. When it tipped in her direction, the row of cups fell right into her arms. Thank goodness.

She turned to face her mother who was standing in the doorway of the supply closet with her hands on her hips. “Mom, stop it. No. He’s like fifty. Why would you want me to go out with a man who’s old enough to be my father?”

Her mother narrowed her gaze. “He’s not that old. Don’t be silly. He’s kind and funny.”

“He’s gray, wrinkly, and balding.” She didn’t really care if a man was bald or not, but the man her mother was entertaining at table four in the restaurant had a combover, and that was just wrong. Maya shuddered.

Her family owned La Havana, a Cuban restaurant with a coveted location on the main strip. Her brother, Mateo, managed the restaurant. Maya mostly tried to stick to helping in the kitchen and restocking. She was too introverted to work at the hostess stand, and the thought of taking orders or bussing tables made her feel ill inside. What if she got someone’s order wrong or dropped a tray of plates? No, thank you.

Her mother blocked her exit. “Okay, fine. Not this man, but you need to be more openminded. If you worked out front more often—”

“Mom…” She groaned in exasperation. “I need to get these cups to Mateo.”

Her mother finally stepped out of the way.

Maya was so rattled from her meddling mother that she wasn’t paying close enough attention to where she was going, and as soon as she stepped into the main area of the restaurant, she tripped over her own two feet, lost her grip on the cups, and watched in horror as the stack teetered forward until it finally crashed to the floor.

The noise sounded like fireworks going off in Maya’s mind. It seemed like every single cup landed separately and bounced ten times. Meanwhile, every patron in the restaurant turned to look at her.

Maya’s face heated to a thousand degrees. This was exactly why she hated working out front. She was clumsy and awkward. Now everyone was staring at her.

Dropping to her knees, she rushed to gather up the cups. Besides the mess, this stack would have to go back to the dishwasher now. They’d touched the floor.

“Let me help you, Little one.” The warm, deep voice accompanied a big, burly man who squatted down next to her and began to quickly gather the cups.

“I can do it,” she murmured, unable to take her gaze off him.

He lifted his head and smiled at her. “Of course you can, but I’m not the sort of man who can sit and watch a pretty Little girl in distress. My tacos can wait.”

Her heart beat faster as she processed his words. He’d called her Little one and Little girl. She might be short, but she was hardly little, and she was certainly not young. Surely this stranger—who happened to look like the Daddy of her dreams—couldn’t know she was Little. She’d never even seen him before, and the only people who knew she was Little were her own family members.

Okay, maybe some of the other staff knew, too. Plus Ellie at Little Cakes and a few of her employees. But Maya’s age play preferences were mostly a private matter.

“My name’s Deke, by the way.” He held out a hand after he finished stacking the cups in three shorter towers.

She licked her lips and stared at him, flushing deeper when she realized he was waiting for her to take his hand. It would be rude not to do so. After all, he’d helped her get out of this awkward situation faster than she could have done alone. And then there was his smile…

As soon as she set her hand in his, she shivered. His grip was warm and firm, but not too firm. He was still smiling at her.

Finally, not releasing her hand, he rose to his feet and helped her stand. “I already know your name is Maya.”

“Oh, sorry. Yes. How did you know that?”

He was still gripping her fingers as he lifted his other hand to point to the nametag on her La Havana shirt.

She groaned inside. Duh. “Oh, right. Well, thank you for helping me. You didn’t have to do that.” Why was he still holding her hand? Couldn’t he see how shy and awkward she was?

“To be honest, that’s not the only reason I know your name, Little one. I’ve been coming here to eat for about a month. I’m observant. I’ve gotten to know your brother, Mateo, pretty well. I’ve also met Mateo’s Little girl, Nora, a few times.”
Welcome to Little Cakes, the bakery that plays Daddy matchmaker! No one has ever looked at her the way he does. And that smile…Altitudinally gifted, Nora Bancroft has no trouble stocking the top shelves in her craft store. There is one thing she struggles with though–finding a man who knows there are more important things than whether or not she can see his bald spot. Burying herself in ribbons, paint, and beads, she has given up on ever finding her Daddy. When he runs out of candles for his Cuban restaurant, Mateo Rodriguez makes an emergency trip to Craftastic. It’s a tall order, but to his delight, the delectable store owner helps him replenish his supply with a surprise flair that calls to him. Could she be the Little he’s been searching for?Little Cakes is a sweet and satisfying series, but dare to taste only if you like delicious Daddies, luscious Littles, and guaranteed happily-ever-afters.

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter One

Nora stretched her long arms toward the ceiling and then to each side, trying to ease the cramp in her lower back. She couldn’t wait to get the store totally stocked and then just have to maintain the supplies. Of course, it would help if she didn’t keep changing her mind about where to put supplies. Moving and relocating items just made her tough job more difficult.

She thought she finally had decided on the best location for everything. Nora was going to go with that plan if it killed her. She had to get the store fully stocked and ready to open. Pausing for a second before opening the next box, Nora looked around with pride.

This is really happening.

“Hey, Nora?”

“Yes, Samuel?” She looked at her very first hire.

A big, burly guy, Samuel divided his time between the football field and art classes. He was incredibly talented in a variety of artistic fields. She loved that his art teacher at the local high school had volunteered to be his reference. His coach had also vouched for his work ethic.

“Sorry to bother you, Nora. There’s a guy knocking on the door in a La Havana uniform. He’s asking to see the manager.”

Nora immediately started walking to the front of the store. “Is he a problem, Samuel?”

“No. I know him from the restaurant. He owns it, I think.”

“Oh. Maybe he’s just come to welcome me to the neighborhood.”

Turning the last corner, she could see a broadly built man standing at the windows. His body language was relaxed. Instantly, Nora felt the last of her apprehension fade.

“Want me to stay with you, boss?” Samuel asked.

“No. I’m fine. Thank you, though. Go ahead and keep putting out the stationery and scrapbooking paper.”

“I’m going blind with all these patterns,” Samuel groaned.

“Take a break and take over where I was. There’s a bunch of paints to put up for the model kits,” she suggested, walking to the front door to unlock it.

“Thanks, Nora.”

She smiled at his disappearing form as she opened the door. “Hi. I’m afraid we’re not open yet.”

“Hi. I’m Mateo Rodriguez from La Havana.” He held his hand out to shake hers.

She was impressed that he didn’t seem bothered by their difference in height. Nora placed her hand in his and tried to control her expression as a zing of pure awareness went through her. Shoving the instant attraction away, Nora knew from experience with men that Mateo would never be interested in a giant. He’s probably married anyway.

“Hi, Mateo. I’m Nora. The smell from the restaurant tempts me every day.”

“I’m glad to meet you. My staff has been chattering about their excitement to have a craft store in this part of town.”

“Fingers crossed, everyone else is, too,” she said, pulling her hand back when he seemed content to hold on to it.

“I know you’re busy. I hate to ask, but do you by chance have white candles in stock? I have an emergency for the dinner rush.”

“I have a few varieties. Come look and see if anything I have would work for you,” she invited, waving him in and locking the door after him. Nora knew she was perfectly safe with Samuel there. If she were honest with herself, her instincts were confident that Mateo would never hurt her.

“You are an absolute angel,” he said with a smile that did something to her insides.

Damn, he was gorgeous. She wished he was seven inches taller. Not for herself, but so he’d be interested in her. Very few men wanted to stand next to a girlfriend who was taller than they were. Especially as they hit their late thirties when they’d started to lose the battle to keep their hair.

Nora pushed that thought out of her head. She didn’t need any complications as she was starting the business that had been her dream since she’d graduated from business school.

“So I have everything from tea lights to ten-inch tapers. What do you need?” she asked, focusing on the task at hand.

“If you have any three-inch by four- or six-inch candles, I’ll owe you big,” he told her.

“I think I have some of those. Let’s check. We may have to open some boxes,” she warned.

“Put me to work,” he volunteered without hesitation.

“Oh, look. Samuel already finished this section.” She leaned over to look at the bottom shelf and scanned the sizes of the plain white candles. Not there.

“I think those could be the right size,” Mateo said, pointing to the very top shelf where several boxes were stacked.

“Three by six,” Nora read the box label at her eye level. She reached for the box and paused when she felt his hand on her shoulder.

“Those are too heavy. Do you have a stepstool?” he asked, looking around.

“I’m stronger than I look. How about if we work together? I’ll lower them down and you can check to see if they’ll work for you,” Nora offered.
There were six women gathered around the display case, all of them laughing and talking over one another.

Aria stared at them, a mixture of emotions consuming her. Their exuberance made Aria smile. Their happiness was palpable. Their demeanors reminded her of people much younger.

Jealousy was front and center. These women were clearly close friends. Anyone could tell that in an instant. Several of them even had their arms around each other. Aria did not have a posse of friends like this.

She felt like she’d stepped into a private party, and she wondered if she’d arrived too late. Had they already closed? When she’d called to place the order, she’d told the owner, Ellie, she would be cutting it close picking up the cupcakes tonight. Ellie had told her it wouldn’t be a problem.

“Hey!” A cute, brown-haired woman waved and broke free of the group to skip toward Aria. “You must be Aria. I’m Ellie. I’m sorry it’s so loud in here. Some of my friends stopped by after work. We get a little rowdy.” She giggled as she shook her arms. Several colorful sprinkles fell to the floor.

“I’m sorry I’m so late. I tried to get here as fast as I could.”

“Don’t worry a bit. Are you in a hurry? Come join us for a cupcake,” Ellie exclaimed.

“Oh, I wouldn’t want to impose.” Aria shuffled forward as Ellie motioned toward the counter.

“No imposition at all. We were just about to try the next flavor of the month. I always love to have a fresh opinion.”

Aria’s stomach grumbled at the thought of eating a cupcake. She’d been stuck at work late and hadn’t had dinner yet. “Uh, okay. If you’re sure it’s not a problem.”

It smelled so good in there. Aria had placed the order by phone. She’d never visited the cupcake shop in person. Now she realized she’d been missing out. Especially when she saw the variety inside the display case.

The crowd of women parted when Ellie cleared her throat. “Everyone, this is Aria. She’s picking up an order for a bachelorette party. I invited her to stay and sample the new flavor with us.”

The other five women all smiled and gave a little wave.

The blonde woman closest to Aria’s right spoke first. “Nice to meet you. I’m Daisy.”

“I’m Lark,” called out the woman next to her.

It was impossible to keep track of their names as one by one the others introduced themselves as Sue, Tori, and Riley.

Ellie giggled. “There won’t be a name quiz later. Don’t worry.” She pointed at the first two women. “Daisy works at Blooms by Daisy, which is also on this strip. Lark is my best friend, a realtor in town. The rest of these women work here.”

“Oh, how fun. I’d much rather work in a cupcake shop than the busy management position I’m stuck at for too many hours a day.” Aria curled up her nose and shuddered. The stressful office she worked in had a completely different atmosphere from Little Cakes. This place was refreshing.

The door to the back room opened, and a large man with a tray of cupcakes entered. “Girls,” he bellowed. “The volume out here is making my head hurt.” He sounded gruff, but he was grinning as he walked right past everyone to set the tray on a table. His back was to them as he continued, “You all better have permission to eat cupcakes at this hour. I won’t be held responsible for any sore bottoms resulting from sugar intake.”

Aria was baffled by his speech. It sounded like he was speaking to a bunch of five-year-olds.

A hush fell over the room, and the man spun around. He spanned the ladies, wincing when his gaze landed on Aria. “Shit. I’m sorry, Ellie. I thought you’d locked up for the night. I didn’t realize you had a customer.”

Ellie drew in a breath. “This is Aria. She’s here to pick up the order for the bachelorette party. I invited her to join us to try the new flavor first.”

The large man wiped his hand on his apron and held it out. “My apologies, Aria. I’m Tarson.”

As Aria shook his hand, a lightbulb went off in her head. She glanced around at each of the now-quieter women, taking in their appearances. Two of them had low pigtails. One had a high ponytail. Two had colorful sneakers. One had a dress with cartoon characters on it.

If she wasn’t mistaken, these women were Little. She’d read about people who enjoyed age play. It had always intrigued her. She had not ever thought such a thing existed outside the pages of her books though.

Based on the insinuation from Tarson that someone might get spanked for eating sweets, she knew she had to be correct. “Are you all… Little?”
The man gave her a slow smile and extended a hand. “Anton Gates. Maybe you can. I need a gift for my sister. I was going to get her a gift card, but then I remembered how much she loves your store, so I thought I’d stop by and see if you could help me choose something for her.”

“Of course. I’d be happy to help. Give me just one second.” She turned toward Axel and Nicoya who had stopped in earlier to check out the shirts Gemma had collected for Nicoya. “Did you want to try those on?”

Axel took them out of Nicoya’s hand. “I’m sure they’re fine. We’ll just get them all and get out of your way.”

Gemma heard Nicoya make a small sound of protest and turned to encourage her to step into the dressing room. Trying to keep her eyes away from the dynamic man who waited, Gemma attempted to focus on Nicoya, but her view kept sliding toward the tall, sexy man at the cash register. His black hair was thick with a slight wave, cut and styled perfectly. His blue eyes should have been illegal.

He towered over her at six feet. Ordinarily she was often annoyed by her short stature, always worried people wouldn’t take her seriously, but something about him didn’t elicit that response. He was tall and broad but not intimidating.

And why am I even thinking about him so hard?

To Gemma’s delight, Nicoya said quickly, “Oh, right. We don’t have much time anyway. We’re supposed to be meeting some people at Little Cakes. We’ll just get these really quick and be on our way.”

“Did you say Little Cakes?” Anton asked.

Axel looked toward him. “Yes. Have you heard of it?”

“Love that place. Thanks for reminding me. I should head there next. My sister would be doubly impressed if I showed up at her birthday party with cupcakes. I wonder if they have any holiday ones yet. My sister is all about the holidays. Even though her birthday is December second, she considers it a Christmas birthday and thinks everyone else should too.” Anton rolled his eyes, but he was grinning.

“That’s so sweet,” Gemma responded as she rang up Nicoya’s shirts with trembling hands. When she spotted her stuffie had squirmed his way from his cubby behind the cash register, she subtly slid him back in place. To her embarrassment, she felt her face heat and knew she was blushing. Hopefully no one saw her hands shaking as she completed the transaction.

As Nicoya and Axel strolled toward the door, she turned to the handsome man who had waited so patiently. “You’re looking for a gift for your sister. I believe you said she shops here. What’s her name?”

“Tracy Fenagan. She’s a short blonde with a permanent happy attitude.”

“Oh, Tracy. I talked to her last week. She was looking for a shirt to match a pair of mint green slacks.”

“Did she find it?” Anton asked, looking at her with wide hopeful eyes.

“No. I didn’t have anything in the shade she was looking for.”

“Didn’t? Does that mean you have something now?”

“I do. I just got in a new shipment and I have several shirts that will match. Would you like to surprise her with one?” Gemma asked. “I was going to call her this afternoon, but I got busy.”

“I’d love to surprise her if you’ll help me choose one she’ll like,” Anton requested.

“Of course. That’s the fun part. Follow me.” She led him over to a rack she’d filled with some of the new shirts that had just arrived.

When she turned her head to talk to him, she noticed he was checking out her bottom. A flush of heat ran through her body. There was no way this mouth-watering man could be attracted to her.

His eyes rose to meet hers and didn’t hold a twinkle of remorse at getting caught looking at her charms. Quickly she covered her surprise by holding up a blouse. “What do you think of this?” she asked.

“I think that’s pinker than bubble gum. What would you call that color?” he asked with a chuckle.

Gemma looked at the garment she held in her hand and had to laugh. “Wow! That definitely isn’t mint green, is it? I think I’d call this fuchsia. Let me pay closer attention this time and choose something that Tracy will like.”

She moved around the rack and Anton followed her. She could smell his subtle but spicy cologne and loved it. Shaking her head to make herself focus, Gemma found a shirt and pulled it out. “Mint green.”

Locating several, she pulled out three others in different patterns and hung them on surrounding racks so he could look at them. Anton scanned them carefully and even touched the material.
Welcome to Little Cakes, the bakery that plays Daddy matchmaker!

Could her frustrating next-door neighbor be the one man who discovers her Little side?

No-nonsense detective Nicoya Stevens doesn't tolerate any shenanigans at the police station or in her personal life. And after a disastrous work day, the last thing she needs is to find the landscaper planting a neighbor's cherry tree on her property.

Axel Jennings never grew out of two things: his love of playing in the dirt and his incredibly laidback attitude. That's why he can't understand the fire flashing in the eyes of the woman confronting him over a simple, and fixable, mistake. But when he catches a glimpse of something he recognizes in Nicoya's steely glare, he's sure there's a Little beneath her tough exterior just waiting to be nurtured by a patient and loving Daddy.

Little Cakes is a sweet and satisfying series, but dare to taste only if you like delicious Daddies, luscious Littles, and guaranteed happily-ever-afters.

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter One

It was just awful. Everything about today was awful. Nicoya grumbled to herself as she slammed the front door and stormed through her house toward her bedroom.

She needed to shed her day job as fast as possible. As a police detective, she often had stressful days, but not usually as bad as this one. Not only had someone spit on her face, but she’d had to hold a bloody paper towel to an older gentleman’s head wound while waiting for an ambulance, and a sick child had thrown up all over her.

Nicoya was a cop, not a medic, but she encountered all sorts of things out in the community, and she was often the first to arrive on the scene, so her job was sometimes messy. But today was the worst.

Taking a deep breath, Nicoya locked her weapon in her safe, kicked off her shoes, and started stripping on the way to the bathroom. She eyed the bathtub with longing. Baths always made her feel better. Bubbles and bath bombs and her rubber duckies could erase any crappy day’s events.

But she didn’t have time for a bath right now. Nor did she want to let herself slide into a deep Little space. She was going to Blaze tonight. She’d save her Littlest feelings for after she arrived in that safe environment.

She was going to have to take a shower, not only because of the amount of time she usually wanted to spend in the bathtub, but also due to the amount of yuckiness she needed to wash off her body instead of sitting in the water with it.

The day’s gross events started running down the drain as soon as she stepped under the spray. She sighed and closed her eyes, enjoying the waterfall as the grime rinsed out of her hair. Blindly, from memory, she reached for her shampoo and pushed a squirt into her palm.

By the time Nicoya was shampooed, conditioned, washed, shaved, and squeaky clean, she almost felt like a human again. Almost Little.

Like most evenings, she was slowly skirting the edge of her Little. Normally she would put on her favorite PJs, fix something for dinner, and curl up on the couch with Ruffles, her stuffed German Shepherd.

Maybe she was silly, but it seemed like a lot of cops owned a large-breed dog like a German Shepherd. Nicoya lived alone, and she didn’t think it would be fair to any dog to leave it for such long hours, so she’d gotten herself a stuffed one. Ruffles. He was a great guard dog. In her imagination.

Since she was going out tonight, however, she wouldn’t put on her PJs. Instead she headed to her closet and perused the left side. Right side—adult. Left side—Little. It was so hard to choose. She wished she had a Daddy who could choose for her and take away the options and responsibilities.

Nicoya sighed. Like she was ever going to find a Daddy. Right. Sure. For one thing, it wasn’t like there were dozens of good Daddies lined up in town looking for a Little. Plus, even though there were an inordinate number of people living in town who practiced some form of age play, they were surely all taken.

The hardest hurdle was Nicoya’s job. She was a cop, for heaven’s sake. That was intimidating for most men. What sort of Daddy wanted to take on a Little girl who worked in law enforcement?

“Avery has a Daddy,” she reminded herself, thinking about another female officer who worked for the same precinct. Granted, she was in a relationship with the one man in town who was more powerful than her—the police chief, Trace Barnes. Nicoya sighed.

Shaking herself out of her meandering depressing thoughts, she chose a pair of purple leggings and a matching shirt that said “Girls Rule” on the front in sparkly gold letters. She giggled as she headed for her dresser to grab a matching bra and panty set.

Five minutes later, she was dressed, including her sparkly gold tennis shoes. She headed back to the bathroom to tackle her hair. It was unruly to say the least. Too curly and a boring brown. She’d never managed to tame it in her life, mostly because she didn’t have the patience for it and probably didn’t use the right hair products.

If she weren’t a cop, she’d probably cut it at her chin and let it go wild, but she preferred to wear it in a tight bun at the back of her head when she was working. With her baby face, freckles, and lack of interest in makeup, she looked about twelve instead of thirty-five when her hair was loose. The only way to ensure people took her seriously was to put it in a severe bun, and to do that, it had to be long enough.
Welcome to Little Cakes, the bakery that plays Daddy matchmaker!

Can a hardware store crush provide the building blocks to happily-ever-after?

Jordi Crouse is thrilled when she lands a new remodeling job. Sure, it's not a luxurious mansion or a fancy restaurant, but funky strip mall beauty shops deserve to be both gorgeous and functional, too. But it turns out trying to build the hairdressers' stations by herself was not her smartest move.

Callen James's hardware store has everything a contractor could need. If only he could stock someone special to make his life complete. One gorgeous and knowledgeable woman wiping out his supply of mini light bulbs and ordering tons of paint is definitely as close as he's come to finding love in a long time, so of course he volunteers to deliver the supplies to her job site. And as Callen gets to know Jordi, it quickly becomes clear to him that the salon isn't the only thing in need of a Little TLC.

Little Cakes is a sweet and satisfying series, but dare to taste only if you like delicious Daddies, luscious Littles, and guaranteed happily-ever-afters.

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter One

Clutching the list of supplies in her hand, Jordi walked into the new hardware store with determination and pure excitement coursing through her veins. With the office remodel of Valerie and Grayson behind her, she had just accepted a job to remodel an empty space, turning it into a new home for a hair salon. To her delight, the new supply depot she’d used for Valerie’s job was even closer and more convenient to get to. Jordi crossed her fingers, hoping they would have just the things she needed for this specialized job.

“Hi.”

The deep, rich voice made her look up in surprise to meet the eyes of a handsome man behind the large desk at the entrance. She stared at him for exactly two seconds longer than socially acceptable before shaking herself mentally to recover.

“Hi. You’re not Ellen,” she observed and then immediately wanted those words back.

“You’re right. I’m Callen. Ellen is off for a school field trip with her kiddos today. Perhaps I can help you?”

“Oh. Maybe.” Jordi stared at him, unable to rip her mind away from the burning question of whether his eyes really were that blue.

“Is that a list of supplies in your hand?” he probed gently.

“Oh, yes.” Jordi looked down at the crumpled paper in her hand.

“Could I see it?” Callen asked kindly without a trace of amusement.

“Oh, yes!” Jordi realized she sounded like an idiot. Wanting to just dash out the doorway, she forced herself to walk forward. “I’m remodeling a hair salon. I’m sure you have everything here except maybe the mini lights for the stations.”

“I’ll be glad to order anything I don’t have on hand,” he assured her, taking the list as she thrust it forward. His fingers brushed over hers with the briefest contact but that was enough to make her shiver.

“Sorry, I keep it cool in here to give everyone a break from the heat,” he apologized.

“It feels good,” she responded in a rush, hoping he’d assume her beaded nipples under her polo shirt were due to the temperature in the store and not the fact that her body seemed to be going as crazy as her mind was.

Callen smiled at her and turned his attention to her list. His finger tapped on the top corner. “You’re J. Cross. I was hoping to meet you. Thank you for shopping here. You were one of our first commercial contractors. It’s tough to get people to switch to a new store.”

“You’re very convenient for me,” Jordi said. Wait. Did that sound funny? She should have worded that differently.

“I’m glad. I’ll take any reason for someone to walk in for that first job. Then it’s up to me to keep you coming back.” He looked down at the list. “I’ve got most of this in stock now. The rest I can have by tomorrow if you need it or next week if you want the lowest price.”

“Next week is fine on the bulbs. I need the lumber and nails most today. Could someone load thirty two-by-fours on a cart for me while I go pick out some boxes?”

“Pull to the back after you’ve checked out. I’ll have the guys load your truck for you,” Callen directed. “If you need any help, please let me know. My goal is to be the most helpful hardware store in the city.”

“Ellen is a gem,” Jordi said, pulling herself together enough to praise the woman she’d worked with several times.

“She is. I’ll get the rest of this ordered for you and we’ll hold it in the back under your name. Want me to deliver it when it’s all in?”

The thought of this man visiting her at her worksite made her blink a few times, but Jordi rallied and forced herself to concentrate. “That would be great. I think Ellen has my number on file. I can give you the salon’s location.”

“It’s not the one over there by that cupcake bakery, Little Cakes, is it?”

“It is. You don’t eat cupcakes,” she blurted, looking over his muscular form. No one got that cut eating frosting.

“You’ve discovered my secret weakness. Don’t tell anyone but the new Caramel Drizzle cupcakes Ellie is featuring now are the best ever!” His eyes twinkled at her in merriment.

“I… I’ll have to try that flavor. Um, thanks… I’ll get out of your hair and go get nailed… I mean pick up some nails,” she corrected. Just stop talking!

“Aisle ten,” he suggested with a grin.

What is wrong with you? Jordi mentally kicked herself as she hurried away.

Even though she told herself not to look, Callen wasn’t at the desk when she went to the front to check out. Torn between being glad she could escape without making a bigger fool of herself and sad she didn’t get to see him again, Jordi juggled the boxes of heavy nails as she waited in line.
Welcome to Little Cakes, the bakery that plays Daddy matchmaker!

Her birthday wish never changes. Maybe this year, she’ll find her Daddy.

Valerie Hopkins loves her dream job. Who wouldn't like being the personal assistant of a world-famous photographer? Working from home is great, but it also has a few disadvantages. Her birthday gifts can be shipped to her house, but her Daddy still hasn't shown up at her door.

Grayson Lee delivers packages all day long, evading aggressive dogs and hilariously bored housewives. He isn't expecting his heart to tell him to pay attention to the next frumpy, frazzled woman who accepts a delivery, but with one look into Valerie's deep blue eyes, he's instantly intrigued. Could she be the Little he's been waiting and hoping for?

Little Cakes is a sweet and satisfying series, but dare to taste only if you like delicious Daddies, luscious Littles, and guaranteed happily-ever-afters.

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter One

“Valerie, I’m so glad you came in. Welcome to Maniac Tats!”

Valerie had barely stepped through the door before the friendly blond with long braids greeted her. She remembered the woman’s name was Tatiana and that she was part owner of the tattoo parlor.

The other owner, Maniac, waved from a station behind Tatiana before returning to his work.

Valerie was pretty sure the two owners were also a couple. That was the vibe she’d gotten when she’d met them over the weekend out front. Heck, Valerie also suspected Tatiana was Little and Maniac was her Daddy. The two of them were so sweet together. Their warmth and kindness toward her had finally given her the courage to come into the shop instead of just strolling by it every once in a while.

Valerie shuffled forward and pushed up her glasses before rubbing her hands together. She’d never been more nervous in her life. Could she really go through with it and get a tattoo? They were so…permanent.

Tatiana came around from behind the desk, smiling broadly. She had on a loose purple blouse, a super-short, purple-and-black, pleated plaid skirt, black fishnet stockings, and black combat boots. She had more style in one pinky than Valerie had overall. Valerie was jealous. She wished she had the guts to dress so bravely.

Tatiana extended a hand. “Don’t be nervous. We get visitors all the time. You aren’t committing to anything just by stopping by.”

Valerie swallowed. “Okay. Uh, thank you.” She glanced at Tatiana’s legs and then back up. “Does it, uh, hurt? It looks so painful, but you have several tattoos, so I guess it can’t be that bad.”

Tatiana shrugged. “Not gonna lie. It does hurt, but a lot of people find it cathartic. They get addicted and then keep getting more ink.” She plucked at the front of her blouse, holding it away from her body as if the silky material was hurting her.

Valerie swallowed. Maybe this was a bad idea.

Tatiana nodded over her shoulder. “Come on back to my station. I’ll show you what all is involved and you can look at some art. Do you like cupcakes?”

Valerie reached up to finger her favorite cupcake earrings as she followed Tatiana. “Yeah. I try not to eat them too often because they contribute rudely to the size of my thighs, but they are decadent.”

Tatiana pointed to a chair in her work area. “I agree. I love them, especially the ones from Little Cakes around the corner. Have you been there?”

Valerie groaned. “Yes. Far too many times.”

Tatiana giggled. “It’s hard to resist. My new favorite is Flirty Kumquat.” She giggled again. “Silly name, isn’t it? But man, they have the perfect blend of citrus and sweet.” She plucked at the front of her blouse again.

Valerie couldn’t help but glance down at the absolutely stunning woman’s chest.

Tatiana released the material again. “Oops. Sorry. When I met you the other day on the sidewalk, I had just gotten a new tattoo right here…” she pointed to a spot between her breasts before leaning forward to whisper, “and a nipple ring. Both are sore, so I keep pulling my shirt away from my chest.”

Valerie winced. “Ouch.” She couldn’t stop herself from reaching up to rub her own breasts. “That sounds painful, both the location of that tattoo and the piercing.” She shuddered at the thought. “I might be able to find the bravery to put a tattoo somewhere on my body, but not my boobs, and there’s no way I’m going to want a needle through my nipple. You’re so brave.”

Tatiana shrugged and glanced toward Maniac who had his head down working. “My uh… Maniac. He encouraged me to try the nipple ring. We tattooed each other with matching cupcakes that day.” She sat up straighter.

Valerie grinned. “The new tattoo is a cupcake?” She hadn’t missed the hesitation in Tatiana’s word choice. She suspected she’d almost called Maniac her Daddy. Or maybe Valerie was just so enamored with the idea of finding a Daddy that she projected it on others and thought everyone had one. It was silly. There was no way half the people she met and thought were Little actually had Daddies.

“Yep. Flirty Kumquat in fact. It’s adorable. I’ll show you a picture. If you love cupcakes, maybe you’d like to get some type of cupcake as a tattoo. I could sketch one for you. What’s your favorite flavor?”

“Birthday Cake. I know it’s boring to most people, but it’s my favorite. Plain white cake with buttercream frosting.” Valerie licked her lips as if she could taste the delicious goodness right now.

“Yum. Didn’t you say your birthday is coming up?”

“Yeah, that’s why I’m trying to be brave and treat myself to a tattoo. A birthday gift to me.”

“All the more reason to get a Birthday Cake tattoo.” Tatiana clapped her hands together. She was more excited by the idea than Valerie.
Welcome to Little Cakes, the bakery that plays Daddy matchmaker!

When she provokes his Daddy side, their friendship changes forever.

After working together for years, Tatiana thought she knew everything there was to know about her co-owner, Maniac. His dominant side is often on display, so she's taken aback when she first learns about his much softer, and much more enticing, Daddy side.

Maniac looks like an outlaw with the rough edges of a biker, but his appearance hides a shrewd professional mind. And his head for business is the only reason he has kept his distance from his gorgeous partner all of this time. But when he finds Tatiana sobbing over the ending of another disastrous relationship, the business is no longer Maniac's priority. This Daddy can't stay away from the Little he's meant to cherish any longer.

Little Cakes is a sweet and satisfying series, but dare to taste only if you like delicious Daddies, luscious Littles, and guaranteed happily-ever-afters.

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Prologue

Beautifully inked arms wrapped around his neck to pull his lips down to hers. Her fingers curled into his shoulders and clung to him as he explored the sweetness of her mouth. Their tongues twisted together erotically as he stroked one hand along her ribcage. When she wriggled against him, Maniac couldn’t prevent the grin that made him pull back slightly as the corners of his lips curled upward.

“You ticklish, Baby girl?”

“Yes, Daddy. But don’t tickle me, please. I hate it.”

Maniac noted that statement. Her expression told him more than her words. Someone had tortured her this way. Forcing his anger away, Maniac focused on the beautiful woman below him.

“Thank you for telling me, Little girl. Let’s see if I can find a different way to touch you that you’ll enjoy.”

Watching her face, he stroked across her flat tummy to cup her breast. The soft mound filled his large hand perfectly. He kneaded it gently, enjoying her soft inhale. His fingers traced over the intricate ink that swirled across her chest to pay attention to that side as well. He loved that she shifted slightly to press her breast into his palm fully.

Lowering his lips to capture one perky peak, Maniac tasted her flesh, swirling his tongue around her nipple. When she arched her back, seeking more, he opened his mouth over her generous mound, sucking gently until he reached the tip. Torturing the stiff crest with quick lashes of his tongue, Maniac waited until she squirmed underneath him.

“I like that better, Daddy,” she offered, making his cock jump against the thick denim of his jeans.

He forced himself to go slowly—to focus solely on her pleasure. Maniac had waited so long to find his Little girl. Now he planned to alternatively spoil her rotten and spank her bottom red.

“Why did you hide from Daddy so long?” he growled after releasing her nipple with a pop. He bent his head to lavish the same attention to her other breast. Maniac had just begun tasting her when she tugged his hair. Allowing her to pull his head away, Maniac met her gaze.

“I wasn’t ready for you to see me, Daddy. Now, I am.”

Her arms reached up to caress his shoulders before pulling him down to her body. “Make love to me, please?”

A cacophony of notes sounded close to him and Maniac attempted to fling himself into a seated position. “What in the fucking hell?” His hands fumbled with the tangled covers that wound around him until he was able to reach his phone and turn off the alarm screeching into the sunlit room. Tossing the phone onto the sheets, he dropped back against the covers.

“Dammit.” He wrapped his fingers around his erection and roughly pulled down the length of his shaft. Maniac failed completely at his attempts to keep Tatiana’s beautiful face and body out of his mind as he pleasured himself.

Chapter One

“You’re late,” Tatiana informed him as Maniac strolled into the main workspace from the back. “Your client is waiting.”

“Sorry. I overslept.”

Tatiana noticed that he didn’t meet her eyes. Was something wrong? “You okay, Maniac?”

“I’m good, Tatiana. I had things on my mind last night that kept me from sleeping until late,” he explained.

“Let me know if I can help,” she suggested.

“Will do.” He stopped to really look at her for the first time today.

Scanning her short plaid skirt and white shirt tied up to reveal her midriff, he growled, “Are you trying to kill me?”

Tatiana looked down her body in surprise. She’d worn this outfit a dozen times to work. The guys really liked it, and she thought her legs looked stellar in it. “What’s wrong with what I’m wearing?”

Maniac thrust a hand through his shoulder-length brown hair, shot with strands of silver. He leaned close to growl, “It makes me want to flip that barely there skirt up and punish your bottom.”

The breath caught in her throat, and she stared at him as he straightened to fix her in place with a look that held so much heat Tatiana swore she must be on fire. Gathering her wits, she tried to act unruffled while inside her heart beat in triple time and her nipples hardened into tight peaks against the light padding of her bra.

“Isn’t that the point?” she asked with a pasted-on smile.

“You’re as tempting as Ellie made her new cupcake sound—Flirty Kumquat,” he answered and turned to greet his customer with his normal gruff friendliness.

“Hi, Barb. You ready to keep inking in that tattoo? I was thinking about starting the roses today if that’s okay with you.”

His voice faded as he walked away with Tatiana staring after him. The door jingled and a middle-aged man walked in and looked around as if he were lost. Pushing Maniac’s words from her mind, she called, “Hello! Welcome to Maniac Tats. What can we do for you today?”
The first time I lay eyes on my future boss, he’s buck naked. And it only gets more awkward from there.
Things are crazy right now. I’m between jobs. I found out my ex cheated on me with my cousin. So I sign up for an art class. That should be simple and relaxing, right?
Except now I’m sketching a hot-as-hell nude model who’s eyeing me as much as I am him.
When we unexpectedly meet again, he makes me an offer: move in with him and his identically gorgeous brothers while they do whirlwind renovations on a house they’re planning to flip.
He wants me to use my skills as a videographer to film the transformation including many shots of them using their power tools while shirtless. It’s a dirty job, but somebody’s got to do it.
They offer me good money, but that’s not what I want. I need someone to be my fake boyfriend for a week of family wedding events that will include my ex. It’s a lot to ask of one guy, but perhaps three could get the job done?
Now the triplets are pretending to be one man who’s pretending to be my boyfriend, and we can barely keep our stories straight.
I’m with them day and night, and before long, the heat between us turns into a bonfire. But with so much deception, how can I tell if the feelings I’m developing are real? Or if these three amazing men could possibly feel the same way?

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter One

“Elizabeth…”

At the sound of her name, Elizabeth turned around from where she was closing down the register for the night to find Stacy, her best employee, coming from the back of the restaurant.

Nibbles & Bites was closed for the day, but Stacy always stayed the latest to help clean up and make sure inventory was all set for the following day.

Elizabeth smiled at her. “What’s up?”

“The new produce guy you’re planning to try out just arrived at the back entrance. I let him in.”

“Oh, shit.” Elizabeth slapped a palm over her forehead. “I totally forgot he was coming today.”

“I could come back later, if now isn’t a good time.”

Elizabeth jerked her gaze past Stacy to find a tall, handsome man stepping into the front of the restaurant. Not just any man. Tom Delaney. The man she’d literally run into last week at the salon after she’d gotten her hair cut.

She would never forget him. He’d captivated her in a way that had caused her to think about him every day since. And every night…

She was so startled that she dropped the money pouch she’d been filling at the register on the floor as she gasped. “It’s you.”

He smiled slowly and held up a finger. “Hey, we’ve met, haven’t we? You were coming out of the salon last week as I was entering.”

She swallowed hard and nodded. Stay cool, Elizabeth. He’s here for business. Do not let your imagination get carried away. You have no way of knowing if he’s even a Daddy.

Stacy quickly bent down to pick up the money pouch. “I’ll finish the register for you.”

Elizabeth somehow managed to step closer to Tom and hold out a hand. “Elizabeth Milford.”

He clasped her hand with his much larger one, his grasp firm and strong. “Tom Delaney.”

She knew his name because even after he’d finally stepped around her at the entrance to the salon, she’d been frozen in her spot in the doorway, and she’d remained there long enough to hear him give his name to the woman at the desk to check in for his appointment. “Nice to meet you, Tom.”

Did he hold her hand a bit longer than necessary? She wasn’t complaining.

Finally, he let her go and nodded in the direction he’d come. “Would you like to show me some of your inventory and your menus? Hopefully I can entice you to place an order with me. I’m a huge fan of the entire concept of Nibbles & Bites. I’d love to partner with you to provide your customers with local fare using your farm-to-plate concept.”

Elizabeth nodded and wiped her hands on the front of her khaki pants as she led him to the back of her shop. Her heart was racing. She was pretty sure he’d just said all the right things, but it had been hard to focus on much besides the delicious tone of his voice, his broad shoulders, the way his jeans hung so perfectly on his hips, the dimples on both cheeks, his round nose, the sparkle in his blue eyes, his tanned skin, his dark blond hair, his…

Oh, God. Stop it. Just stop it, she admonished herself. It had been a long time since she’d last been on a date. Surely that was why she was drooling over this near stranger. She needed to pull herself together before she made a fool of herself.

After leading him into the kitchen, she turned around. “So, this is where all the magic happens.” She snagged a menu from the large prep island and slid it across the surface.

He reached for it to drag it closer, but after a glance, he gave her a sheepish look. “I have to confess, I already memorized your menu online before I came. I wanted to be prepared to give you some options of what I have to offer.”

Tom had a leather messenger bag slung over his shoulder, and he set it on the island and lifted the flap to pull out a manila folder. When he opened it, she was pleasantly surprised to see that he had printed out a proposal, which he was now sliding across the marble top toward her.

“Oh. Wow. You are prepared.”

He smiled. “My father instilled a strong business ethic in me. Never show up to a meeting without knowing the client inside and out.”

Stunned, she looked down to find he had listed every vegetable she used and had guesstimated the quantities she might need of each one in a spreadsheet that was based on a variety of sales volumes.

“The entire list can be altered to fit your volume. That was one thing I couldn’t be sure about. I’ve passed by Nibbles & Bites several times lately, and it’s always been filled with customers, so I assume you do a pretty good volume during the lunch hour in particular. But I have no way of knowing what your most popular selections are of course.”
