Twin lion shifters Felix and Enzo have always known that sharing a mate was a possibility; a probability, even, as they’ve never been strangers to sharing a man. Hell, they prefer it that way. They’re attracted to the same type of men, and love the challenge of one-upping each other. But over time, their conquests became more than passion and performance; the duo grew closer to one another and got to witness what was kept hidden from most of the world – their gentle, attentive sides. They discovered a deep-seated desire to be caregivers; to take charge of pleasure, while doting on needs.

After a bumpy first encounter with their mate Ant, the twins discover that their sweet man is in desperate need of safety, security, and love. He knows the desires of his heart, but has never had the freedom to explore them. What could be better than two strong, sexy lion Daddies to make all of his dreams come true?

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter One

Enzo

“You’re doing great,” Asher encouraged his mate. “Hold my hand.”

“I don’t want your hand!” Cedric yelled back. “I don’t want you to touch me! I should have never let you touch me, and if you ever try to touch me again, I’ll rip your face off and glue it to your butt!”

My brother Felix and I blinked wide eyes at each other. We’d never heard sweet Cedric be so rude, but I supposed the pain of childbirth would make anyone cranky.

Cedric was in his bedroom with Asher, who had been getting yelled at for the past half-hour, and Grady, who was attempting to help the pair through the process. Somehow, he’d managed to stay calm and patient, providing positive affirmations and motivation. The man was a saint.

Brandon, Talon, Hunter, and Lance took Brady to a movie to get him out of the house and out of earshot of Cedric’s cries. Meanwhile, Felix and I were standing in the hallway being zero help whatsoever.

It wasn’t that we didn’t care about our friend; we just weren’t prepared for this type of thing. Grady had spent the last few months listening to podcasts about home births, reading midwife manuals, and even practicing Lamaze techniques with Cedric. He had things under control, and my brother and I would most likely just get in the way.

“I’m so sorry,” Asher offered, sounding helpless.

Cedric’s cry of, “You should be sorry!” echoed through the wall. “You put this baby in me! It was all just fun for you, and now I have to do the hard part!”

“What can I do to help?” Asher asked sincerely. Uh oh. I had a feeling that question was a bad idea.

“You can go shove a bowling ball up your ass so you know how I feel right now!”

Felix’s face stretched into a mix of pity and discomfort at our friend’s words. As a shifter, Cedric would heal quickly after the birth, but it didn’t make the process any less excruciating. He couldn’t exactly go to the hospital - it would raise too many questions from human doctors. The best option was a natural home birth.

“Okay, Cedric,” Grady’s deep, calm voice cut in, “It’s time to push.”

A string of growls, screams, and curse words pierced the air, making the blood rush from both Felix’s and my face. We were the last people anyone would call saints; we practically made swearing an art form, but it was knowing the cause of Cedric’s language that made us squeamish. The bowling ball suggestion definitely left a vivid mental image.

My brother and I paced the hallway, sweating bullets as we overheard Cedric’s threats of relieving Asher of a very important body part so he couldn’t do this to him again, and describing colorful things he planned to do to his mate; none of which sounded pleasant.

But soon the threats gave way to gut-wrenching screams. My heart went out to my friend, and it was almost too much to bear, until they were accompanied by a beautiful sound; a tiny, gurgling cry.

I punched the air and Felix slammed into my side for a brief hug. And then we paced the hallway again, this time with anxious excitement to meet the new addition to the pride.

A few minutes later, Gray opened the door with a broad grin and announced, “It’s a boy.” I refuse to admit that I squealed like a teenage girl, but I will gladly share that Felix did.

“Can we see him?” My brother asked hopefully, and Grady opened the door wider and ushered us inside.

We shuffled up to the bed, where Asher was sitting next to his mate, rubbing his shoulders and pressing kisses to his bright pink hair. Cedric was smiling down at their new bundle of joy, who was swaddled in a light blue blanket.

“He’s beautiful,” I told the pair. The baby looked like a squishy little old man, but in the best possible way. “Congratulations.”
Talon – I cocked up. But it wasn’t like my normal cock ups, which happen way more often than I’d like to admit; this was the cock up of a lifetime. I was feeling restless and frustrated, and decided to blow off a little steam with a random hookup in the bathroom of a gay club. That’s not so bad, right? Well, it wouldn’t have been, if my mate didn’t choose that exact moment to walk in.

Yep, my mate, the man I’d waited my entire lifetime to meet, the one whom I was destined to love and protect for all eternity, caught me in the act with a stranger. Talk about a great first impression. And when I tried to approach him to apologize, he pepper sprayed me and ran away.

I can track him easily enough, but how do I explain myself when he won’t speak to me? How do I show him that we’re meant to be, or that I’m loyal and trustworthy when he probably thinks I’m just a dirty man-whore? Oh, and as if that isn’t difficult enough, I need to tell him that I can turn into a lion. Time is running out to claim my mate and luck is certainly not on my side.

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter One

Talon

My paws sank into the earth as I ran at full speed, kicking up dirt behind me. I leapt over downed logs and whipped through the trees, trying to outrun the restlessness inside me.

I was easygoing and carefree by nature, but today was a different story; I woke up with an unshakable feeling which I didn’t quite understand. I was on edge, but not necessarily worried; unsettled but not alarmed. It felt as if my brain was spinning in circles and my body couldn’t move fast enough to catch up; even in lion form.

But I pressed on, sprinting through the woods which I called home. Over the decades, I’d explored every inch of the land which surrounded the lodge where I lived with my pride. I knew every sight and scent, and visiting them brought me peace. Today, they couldn’t even hold my attention.

I planted my feet on the ground and tipped my head back, releasing a roar of frustration. It echoed throughout the forest and birds flew from their perches in the trees, taking to the sky in fright. I loved reminding the other creatures who was the boss of the land. Though it didn’t bring me as much joy as it normally did, I still chuffed with satisfaction at the sound of little critters scurrying away.

Totally exhausted from running, I continued on at a slow pace. Lions were fast and strong, but our endurance was shit. We used bursts of energy when needed, but most of the time, we were as lazy as most house cats. Even though my brain still raced, my body needed a break.

I followed a well-worn path down a slope until the packed dirt gave way to rocks beneath the pads of my paws. The sound of a bubbling brook made my ears twitch, and I breathed in the scent of freshwater. I followed my senses until the trees cleared, and I came upon the steam, which eventually dumped over a rock face. That small waterfall and the many black locust trees of the forest gave this area its name; Locust Falls.

I lowered my head and lapped at the cool water; it was clean, crisp, and untouched by man. There were no marked hiking trails or easy paths for humans to visit the falls without coming onto the pride’s property, so we didn’t have to worry about surprise encounters with humans who would be spooked by the sight of a roaming lion. Even if someone did enter the area, we could hear them from a mile away due to our keen senses.

Once the ripples calmed, I gazed at my reflection on the surface of the water. I was quite the handsome lion, with my broad nose, brown and black mane, and coal black eyes.

"Admiring yourself again?" a voice teased from behind me. I didn't even have to turn around to know that it was my best friend Hunter, but I was surprised that I didn't hear him approach; my mind was even more distracted than I thought.

I stretched and groaned as my body contorted; my bones snapped into new positions and my muscles arched across them. Shifting between forms didn't hurt; it was actually quite pleasant, like the best yoga session imaginable crammed into about twenty seconds.

Once I was in my human form, I stood upright and turned to Hunter with a smirk. "Obviously. That's what you do with fine art." Even my quip didn't pack the sass it ordinarily would, and Hunter didn't miss the change.

He propped his hands on his hips and gave me a tight smile, his golden eyes full of concern. "Still feeling weird?" I'd told him about my internal struggle before I left for my run.

"Yeah, I can't seem to shake it."

"Hmm. I checked the borders of our lands and everything looked fine," Hunter replied with a shrug. He must have been running the woods in lion form and shifted, which explained why he was butt naked, just as I was. Clothing didn't survive a transition. But nudity wasn't a big deal to anyone in the pride, as we didn't hold any romantic or sexual feelings for each other; we were friends and brothers, and had seen one another's bodies countless times.

"Are you hungry?" Hunter asked. He sniffed the air and added, "It smells like Cedric is making barbeque ribs." Cedric was another lion shifter in our pride, and an incredible cook. He was the only reason the rest of us didn't starve to death (or live on bologna sandwiches).

"I'm not sure I can eat," I answered honestly. My stomach was a bundle of nerves.

"Damn, you aren't feeling like yourself." I was normally a big eater (as all shifters were), and ribs were my favorite meal. "Try to eat a little to keep your strength up, and then I'll take you out for a drink. Maybe getting your mind off of things will help."
Cedric was thrown away by his family on his 18th birthday because of his omega status. He isn’t as strong or quick as other lion shifters, and was therefore seen as useless by his old pride. He may also bear children, which his family saw as a crime against nature. When he was cast out, he found a new family made up of a rag-tag group of men who were all shunned by their old prides, but who loved each other fiercely.
Cedric is a sweet soul who loves to take care of the people he’s close to. He’s a bit of a ‘mother hen’, fussing over his friends and making sure everyone is fed and happy. He’s as bright and bubbly as his pink hair, though a sassy streak runs deep within him.
When Fate puts him in the path of his mate, Cedric is quick to meet his needs, from keeping his man fed to boosting his confidence. But sweet Cedric has a need as well – he loves to spoil his mate, but he craves for a man to take control of his body and make him feel cherished in a very special way. His mate Asher is just the man for the job.
Asher, once a Dom-extraordinaire, is battling a bout of bad luck. He was laid off from his job and is having trouble finding employment. He’s being hard on his physical appearance, doubting his abilities, and his flirt game is all but non-existent. He hasn’t had the confidence to even approach a boy for some time.
But lucky for him, a sassy, beautiful boy approaches Asher one day, looking like an animal. Asher needs to dig deep, remember who he is, and trust his bubble-gum-pink-haired beauty to finally claim his forever happiness.

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter One

Cedric

“That…was…amazing!” Brandon cheered as our whole ragtag pride left the convention center, where we’d all attended a comic book convention.

We all dressed up as our favorite characters; Grady was dressed as Black Panther, Hunter was Batman, Felix went as Hulk while his twin brother Enzo dressed as Deadpool, and I was a gender-bender version of Starfire. My look was completed by my bubblegum pink hair, purple crop top, and thigh-high purple boots.

But the person who captured the most attention from all of the other comic book lovers was Talon, and that was because he demanded attention from everyone he came in contact with. But his reasons weren’t selfish.

Talon’s mate Brandon created a comic book series which featured a man named Zero who traveled the lands, talking to animal sidekicks and fighting for justice. All of us thought Brandon’s stories and artwork were fantastic, but of course no one was more impressed or proud than Talon.

Which is why he was dressed as Zero, and why he insisted that every person that walked by him in the convention center stopped and looked at his mate’s comic books (which he carried around in an oversized backpack).

At first, Brandon’s nerves were apparent; he was a little shy and backward, and probably embarrassed to have his mate flag down every passerby just to shove a book into their face. But his anxiety didn’t last long.

Soon, a horde of people were gathered around our little group, each of them eagerly reading Brandon’s comics and commenting on his artwork. The crowd begged for more stories, but, even as Brandon was reaching for the backpack to give them what they wanted, Talon informed them that they’d have to wait until the comics were published to get the rest of the storylines.

That kickstarted a whirlwind of events; a few of Brandon’s fans hurried to booths which held executives from comic book publishers to tell them about their great new find. Those executives approached Brandon and asked to see his work, which in turn attracted more executives to come see what all the fuss was about.

In the end, there was a multi-executive crowd, all bidding for Brandon’s attention and business. My friend collected all of their business cards with promises of contacting each of them to hear their offers.

Brandon had a bright future ahead of him to do what he loved most. We were all so proud of him, but none more so than Talon. His chest was puffed out, he held his head high, and he couldn’t keep his hands off of his sweet mate.

“You were amazing,” Talon corrected before placing a kiss on Brandon’s puffy hair.

“You truly were,” Grady offered with a smile. “I’m so happy for you and I know you will accomplish great things. I believe a celebration is in order.”

Enzo flashed a devilish grin. “Hell yeah! I could definitely go for a night out at Pride Place.” It was the nightclub owned by our pride, and where we’d all spent a few wild nights, but I knew that it wasn’t Brandon’s typical scene. He was more of a homebody like me. Granted, I had my own wild side that few knew about, but I also enjoyed the simple things.

“Tonight is all about Brandon,” I insisted to Enzo and his twin brother Felix, who were already high-fiving at the thought of a ruckus party. “He should decide what we do.”

Brandon gave me a grateful look before replying, “The crowd was a little overwhelming in there. If no one minds, I think I’d prefer a relaxing celebration at home with all of you.” Everyone, including Felix and Enzo, voiced their agreement. More than anything, we all wanted what was best for our friend.

“In that case, I’ll make you a special dinner.” Brandon smiled at my offer. “I’ll just need to stop at the grocery store on the way home to pick up a few things.” With the way the pride ate, I could barely keep our cabinets stocked with food.

Hunter raised his eyebrows in question. “Don’t you want to stop and change clothes before you go to the store?”

I gave him an indignant look and propped my hand on my hip. “And why would I do that? I look amazing.”

Enzo snorted a laugh. “Well, you can’t argue with that. Can we get going, though? I’m starving.” I wasn’t surprised in the least to hear that. We all nodded and loaded into the caravan of SUVs we took for pride outings.

Instead of the grocery store near pride lands where I usually shopped, the caravan stopped at a large supermarket in the heart of downtown, close to the convention center.

My heart fluttered when we pulled into the parking lot. Maybe it was strange, but I always got a little thrill when I got to explore a new market. I loved cooking and taking care of my friends, so finding new ingredients or a larger selection made me positively giddy. I’d never felt this excited about a store before however, but I figured it was from the sheer size of the shop.
Lance thought he’d found the man he would spend his life with, only to get burned in the end. In order to protect his heart and his son Brady, he decided to swear off men for good, and focus on being the best dad he could be. But just when he least expects it, temptation comes strolling in with a pair of intense golden eyes that capture Lance’s attention and crumbles his resolve. A man named Hunter won’t give up when it comes to winning Lance’s heart, and the way Hunter accepts Brady may just have Lance ready to give into temptation after all.

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter One

Hunter

“That’s gonna make one hell of a pinata,” Enzo said as he watched Asher place another strip of gauze across Cedric’s round stomach.

Cedric sighed and rolled his eyes. “For the tenth time, we’re not making a pinata. We’re making a plaster cast of my stomach. This way we'll always have a reminder of my pregnancy.” Cedric had less than two months left to carry his little one.

“Won’t the kid be a good enough reminder?” Felix chimed in, making his brother snort.

“Don’t listen to them,” Grady insisted from his seat on the sofa, where he was lovingly watching the pair. “I think this is a beautiful way to commemorate this major event in your life. Your stomach will shrink away once the child is born, but this cast will help you remember the days you carried him or her.”

We weren’t sure what gender the child was, because Cedric couldn’t exactly stroll into a doctor’s office to have an ultrasound. Shifters had to wait and see once their children were born, but that only added to the excitement.

“I’ll miss this belly when it’s gone,” Cedric lamented, eyeballing his protruding dome. His lips curled into a playful smirk as he moved his gaze onto his mate, Asher. “I guess we’ll have to make lots more babies so I can feel it again.”

Asher’s hands stilled and he gulped. “Let’s make sure I don’t screw this one up too badly before we plan any more, okay?” Although his relationship with Cedric had helped him so much, Asher still wrestled with self confidence from time to time, but there was no need for it. He was a great man, and a wonderful addition to our pride.

“That baby is going to be so lucky to have you,” I butted in. “You’re loving and protective, and I know you’ll be a wonderful father.”

Cedric sniffled and dabbed at the tears that were streaming down his cheeks. “Dang it, Hunter, you’re making me cry for the hundredth time today!” The sweet man had been one big, walking hormone for the past few months. “But you’re right. Asher is going to rock fatherhood.”

The big man smiled as he lifted another piece of wet gauze and draped it over Cedric’s stomach. “Thanks, guys. I’m going to try my best.”

“And if you need anything, we’re all here for you,” I reminded him. We were a team, and no one had to handle life on their own. We all looked out for one another.

“This cast is going to be a really cool piece of art,” Brandon added. “Are you planning on painting it or anything once it dries?”

“I’d love to write the baby’s name on it after they’re born,” Cedric replied, “And maybe paint some pretty flowers on it, but I’m afraid of screwing it up.”

“I’d be happy to do it for you,” Brandon shrugged. He was a great artist; not only did he graduate from college for art, but he was also an accomplished graphic novelist.

“That would be so great!” Cedric gushed, dabbing at his eyes again. Asher cleared his throat and he and his mate had a silent interaction of head nods and winks. “And actually,” Cedric continued, “I was wondering if I could ask one more favor of you.”

Brandon cocked his head. “What is it?”

“Well, Asher has taken lots of photographs of me, but I thought it would be nice to have a sketch…you know, like the one you made of Talon? I’d be clothed!” he added quickly when Talon growled a warning. “But I’d love to capture this pregnancy in as many artistic mediums as possible. It would mean so much and I’m happy to pay you for your work-”

“Of course I’ll do it,” Brandon beamed. “But you’re not paying me anything. We’re friends, Ced; family. It’s my pleasure.”

Cedric gave him a teary smile. “Thank you. But if you won’t take my money, I am going to make your favorite meal for dinner and I’m not taking no for an answer.”

The room gave a collective chuckle and Brandon agreed, “It’s a deal. And actually, this is great timing; Talon and I were heading into town today to pick up some more art supplies. I’ll get some fresh sketch pencils and we can start right away.”

“You’re the best,” Cedric warbled.

“Are you ready to leave now, sweetheart?” Talon asked Brandon, who nodded.

I stood up at the same time as them. “Do you mind if I tag along?”

“Sure, the more the merrier,” Talon shrugged before looking around the room. “Would anyone else like to come?” No one else took him up on the offer, so the three of us walked outside and loaded into my SUV.

We drove the bumpy dirt path out of the forest and made it onto the main road. My stomach growled loudly and I asked the pair, “Do you mind if I stop somewhere to grab a bite to eat?”
