Klynn
Humans. Klynn knows that humans come in a variety of shapes, colors, and personalities. What he isn’t expecting is to find a human mate. A stern mate who glares and doesn’t talk about diner nonsense or mate business in public. He’s perfect. The only problem? How to tell the human that he’s Klynn’s mate.

Agent Murphy
Aliens. Agent Murphy knows aliens—dragons especially—come in all shapes, colors, and personalities. What he isn’t expecting is to find one rational, perfect man in a sea of ridiculousness and inappropriate questions. Klynn is private, serious, and not into talking about diner nonsense. The only problem? How to figure out what kind of diner nonsense his boy is actually into.

When a passionate reader finds the main character of his dreams, two unconventional men will write a story that bridges the stars.

Author’s This is the second book in the spinoff series from the original Blue Ridge Magic books. This takes place after the events in the original series and should be read in order for it to make sense. This series contains spoilers for the original series. (That’s probably obvious, but I’m a worrier.)

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Prologue

Klynn

“That’s what a Team Binkie member is?”

Really?

Pausing the voice that came from the small reading machine, I set it down on the log that I used as my main seating area and rose to move away. Having space from the device seemed imperative even if it was not logical, but I had come to accept many of my actions were not logical.

And when I was alone, I let myself experience them without worry.

If the device made me uncomfortable, I would walk away.

If the diner men made me uncomfortable, I would walk away.

If seeing odd behavior between mated pairs made me uncomfortable, I would walk away.

The first books I had managed to read explained that what the people of Earth had termed mental health was important and I did not need to do things that made me uncomfortable. I could say no. I could decline to talk about anything.

No was a complete sentence.

It was amazingly freeing.

But this.

This.

“What have the diner men been reading?”

This was not the same sharing relationships that I had found in the sparkly dragon’s other books. It had been easy to learn that one person provided rules and either necessary or desired painful pleasure, and the other gave the provider a purpose in life.

Some mates were just needier than others and it was the mate termed as the submissive who provided for their needy mate.

I just had not understood the words for it before.

But this.

This.

“Daddy.”

The human language English used many words in multiple ways, some making more sense than others, but this provided answers and additional questions.

“Team Binkie members are Daddies and the specific type of submissives who give them purpose.”

What had they been called by the author?

I could find the word without going back to the device.

I was good at English.

I was bad at exploring their world but I was good at English and research.

“Littles.”

Yes.

Needing to move, I gave in to the desire to wiggle, as authors described it, and paced around my camp, circling it slowly as I kept the reading device in the middle of my path. It was not dangerous to my physical health, but my books had taught me that mental health was just as important.

So the machine must be watched.

And studied.

That was not good.

The mates called Dominants would curse in this situation, but many books explained that I was not allowed. It was a confusing rule, but one that was widely enforced across many stories, so it must have some broader context I had yet to learn.

“Shoot.”

It was an appropriate word and released emotional frustration.

Dominant mates from Earth would require communication, so practicing was appropriate as well.

“Shoot.”

Using the word more forcefully to give it a human sound, I enjoyed the release it gave me as I performed venting. The mates called submissives required ways of releasing emotions. It was not optional. They were simply not designed to keep emotions and desires contained on their own and found it necessary to have their mates manage them.

They were not defective, just different, and their dominant mates were different as well.

It must be stressful to walk around needing to manage people constantly but always being told no. That was why it was so important that they find their mates. No matter what humans called them. They had different words and could not sense the magic, but it was there. I could see it in their books and the stories they told.

Magic could still be dangerous, however, and dangerous creatures must be studied to understand the different ways they could provide risk. Books were just unconventional risks I had not discovered until coming to the confusing planet.

“Research is important even if it provides danger.”

Pausing my circle, I forced my legs to stop closer to the device. “There was a reason this opportunity was placed in front of you.”

I was not weak or broken.

I was not too defective for a mate.

I simply hadn’t understood what I would be able to provide for my mate.

My mate would need someone to control.

My mate would need someone to manage.

My mate would need someone to care for.

“I will provide everything my mate needs, but to do that, I must research.”

The fates had put the sparkly dragon’s books in my path and I would do my best to honor the knowledge they had given me.

****

Agent Murphy

“You’re human, right?”

Screaming at him never helped.

Screaming at him never helped.

Screaming at him never helped.

“Have I started glowing in meetings?”

Fuck no. Because it was inappropriate to get turned on over married coworkers.

“Have I asked to bring in strange pets that could eat people?”

No. Because gators and things with jaws that big weren’t something we were supposed to bring to office parties.

“Have I sneezed and had half the electricity in the building go out?”

No. Because I knew how to stay away from people when I was fucking contagious.
“I don’t like soup.” - Levi

Levi hasn’t done anything terrible enough to deserve getting such horrendous food delivered to his house. He knows he hasn’t been the nicest person lately, but he’s not at the soup punishment level of attitude. Right?

I was a good boy even if the Daddy across the street would question that. - Teddy

Teddy hasn’t done anything terrible…he’s just trying to make a point through healthy food. He’s feeding the cranky grump…and possibly trying to get his attention. It’s not his fault if the pain in question takes it as a punishment. Right?

When a mischievous little makes a point through soup shenanigans, a grump with a chip on his shoulder will finally look around and see there’s more to life than drama and frustration…there’s truly terrible soup, coloring, and Christmas presents.

Author’s You first meet Levi as a side character in The Christmas Mac-n-Cheese Mystery, but you don’t need to have read that book to enjoy this one. There is a brief, positive conversation about adoption, but it is not a main part of the story.

This book is part of A Little Season Four, a multi-author series. Each book in A Little Christmas is a standalone but why not read them all and see what our silly boys and their protective daddies are up to?

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter 1

Levi

“I don’t like soup.” I sounded like a little complaining that I didn’t want all my food mixed up in broth…but I didn’t want all my food mixed up in broth.

“That’s good to know?” Dante frowned at the takeout container I was holding like he was expecting it to jump out of my hands. “I know that’s probably related to something I should understand, but I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

He really needed to pay more attention to everything else not related to Professor Winslow, his new little and partner.

“I’m getting soup delivered.” Holding up the brown paper bag, I set it on the small table by the stairs. “It’s making me insane. How have you missed this?”

He was the one who’d thought being a Secret Santa was a good way to get Ruslan’s attention, but I was being punished with soup. “Are you torturing me?”

He had to have had a hand in this nonsense.

This was more like a threat than a Secret Santa, though.

“I can confidently say ‘not it.’” Leaning against the stair railing, he finally looked like he was paying attention to what I’d been saying. “Who have you pissed off lately?”

Numerous people.

I wasn’t going to list them all off, though.

“Someone is having soup delivered to me about every two days. It honestly varies but it’s always soup and most of it comes with notes like ‘hope this improves your mood,’ so yeah, I’ve pissed someone off.” Me at the very least…especially because I was eating most of it.

Free food was free food even if it was soup…and the dining halls were basically closed for the next couple of weeks for winter break, so I had to fend for myself or go home.

Soup was the best option.

“I need it to stop or to give them another food to fuck with me about.” There had to be a way to convince whoever it was that I hated pasta or steak.

“Have you asked the restaurants delivering the food who sent it?” Somehow the normally smart guy was a moron…or thought I was a moron.

“Yes, but they’re playing dumb.” The guy at the door had insinuated that he’d been well-bribed to play dumb. “And since they’ve already been paid in cash, they have no reason to help me.”

It seemed like my tormenter tipped very well.

Dante blinked, clearly not sure what to say to the chaos driving me crazy. “Who knows you don’t like soup? I’m not even sure I knew you don’t like soup.”

He knew everything about everyone on campus so that wasn’t possible. It wasn’t even like he was a gossip. People just told him random things and he ended up knowing all about everything going on.

“I don’t know.” That was a damned good question. “I don’t remember talking about it with anyone lately.”

Mostly because it sounded ridiculous.

Who randomly announced they didn’t like soup?

“Soup?” Cocking his head, Dante finally realized how strange it was. “I guess it’s a good way to fuck with you, then. But we’re back to who have you pissed off lately?”

“I’m not making a list that long.” People were easily offended. “But I’d say with most of them it’s been mild irritation, not soup level of pissed off.”

The holiday season sucked.

“I don’t know what to say, but we can help you eat the soup if that’s the problem?” Even as distracted as he was by his new relationship with Ruslan, he was generally a good roommate. But I wasn’t sure if that was a helpful suggestion or not. “The guys or Ruslan would like it.”

Not helpful.

“I’d actually like it to stop.” Someone was spending entirely too much money on the ridiculousness and they’d made their point. I was a dick. Got it. “But yes, one of you guys needs to start eating the soup. I’ll trade for other options…baked goods or non-soup dinners are preferable.”

Hell, I’d eat the mac-n-cheese that Ruslan was so passionate about.

I wasn’t going to be picky at this point as long as it wasn’t a soup, stew, or chowder.

Clam chowder was disgusting and like eating chewy snot.

Stew was the least offensive, so I’d obviously only gotten that once.

“Your life is weird.” Taking a deep breath, Dante shifted back to his thoughtful Dom taking charge expression.

Most of the time it pissed me off because I was just as much of a Dom as he was, but as long as he got the soup to stop, I’d ignore it.

“You’re going to have to sit down and make a list of people you’ve pissed off or situations where someone has gotten bitter. Like…take revenge bitter, not the hot kind of angry.” Digging out his phone, Dante sighed as he looked at the screen. “I have to go, but we’re coming back to this because I don’t know if this is stalker behavior or if someone is just fucking with you because you were a pain in the ass.”
Orlando’s finding the holidays to be much more interesting after working on the fascinating and highly educational Terrence’s house. He learned all about fun new books, what it means to be little, and what to look for in a Daddy…and he knows just where to apply all that knowledge…his neighbor and closeted Daddy…Bastian. Now he just needs to figure out how to get the stubborn man’s attention.

Bastian’s finding the holidays to be much more stressful this year when he discovers his frustrating neighbor has somehow ended up with a Secret Santa Daddy and is doing his best to throw himself into discovering his little side. Now he needs to figure out how to chase off the scam artist and protect Orlando from himself…because that’s what a good neighbor would do, right?

What’s a cutie to do when the man of his dreams keeps putting his head in the sand? Invent a Secret Santa, of course.

Author’s You first met Orlando in Who’s Your Daddy (Secret Santa Daddy, Season 4), and while you don’t need to read that one before you enjoy Orlando’s book, it would help explain some of the shenanigans and why he keeps quoting the wonderfully smart Terrence

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter 1

Orlando

“No, he got me a cute Build-a-Bear. It’s dressed up just like me at work…yeah…a little tool belt and everything. I don’t know how he did it but my Secret Santa is the best.”

Sound cheerful but not too giggly.

Happy but not devious.

Not too loud because then he’d become suspicious and realize I was talking to no one.

Phones really were amazing because no one could ever tell if there was someone on the other end or not. They also made it easy for me to look so distracted I wouldn’t notice my sexy and slightly nosy neighbor inching closer to the fence that separated our properties.

“No, the first one was that card and the chocolates. Yeah, he had to get those mailed out. They don’t sell them around here, so he’s been planning this out for a while.” Pretending like I was my cousin’s new boyfriend Terrence who was always oversharing with his best friend Leander made the necessary deception even easier.

I’d listened to him for weeks while we’d worked on his house and all I had to do was make his conversations sound more like me and less like I was a naughty and easily distractable spy.

Or whatever he did for a living.

Our whole family was convinced he was CIA or something, but I didn’t care because he was hilarious and I wanted to be him when I grew up.

Ha.

I didn’t have to grow up because I was going to be a little and that meant I could be young forever.

I just needed to get a Daddy first to make the rest fall into place.

Unfortunately, the man who was perfect for that position was slightly stubborn and convinced he was too old for me. That just meant I had to get creative. Terrence said that was the best way to make sure he got his way, so it had to be right.

He was really smart…strange…but really smart.

“They were moan-worthy and well…I shouldn’t tell you just how good they were.” Because I couldn’t compare chocolate to orgasms the way Terrence had without sounding ridiculous. I’d tried several times while I’d been practicing and it’d never sounded right.

I could pretend to laugh, though, because I was just embarrassed enough to want to giggle as I paced around the dark backyard. “You think there’s any left to share? Don’t be stupid. I ate them so fast I proved I don’t have a gag reflex.”

Terrence had eaten most of them so fast he’d given himself a stomach ache and had to postpone his afternoon orgasm session. That was the point where he’d realized the error of his ways and had shared the rest while he’d pretended to have good manners.

But my gag line sounded much better and wouldn’t worry my grumpy Peeping Tom as much.

“If I get more, I’ll think about it.” My imaginary phone person wouldn’t care if I didn’t share fake chocolate, so I could promise without having to worry. “Yes, I’m getting presents every couple of days, so I’m excited to see what I get tomorrow.”

This was the part where my nerves started to stand up and ask me what the hell I was doing. But I had a plan that I knew even Terrence would be proud of and that would make his friend Leander go off like I was crazy.

That was how I knew it was perfect.

Everything fun and interesting made Leander worry…and honestly…I was just doing Santa a favor to make sure I got what I wanted for Christmas.

Bastian.

“I can’t decide if I want something sweet and grown-up or if I want something cute and fun like toys to go with my bear.” Oh, I was going to have to buy Terrence toys to go with his bear. Enzo hadn’t gotten him any. “I’m not sure. He’s been sweet so far and has just been signing things…you can’t tell…promise?”
Wren
Mates. Wren knows they just pop up when it’s completely unexpected, like at a party with clowns, crazy townspeople, and the cutest alien he’s ever met. Alien dragon? Mage? His mate is clearly not a local but that’s just going to make the adventure of a lifetime even more interesting. Besides, the only thing that matters is he’s a Daddy…right?

Toman
Mates. Toman knows mates are granted by the fates, but the last place he expected to find his was on another world where nothing quite makes sense. Team Binkie? Team Pony? His goals were planned out, but everything changes when his adorably confusing mate bounces into his life. Now he’s got a new list of things to learn, like what makes a Daddy and how do Earthlings fall in love.
When the mate bond strikes, two men must learn how to build a love that crosses cultures and bridges the stars.

Author’s This is the first book in a new spinoff series. This takes place after the events in Blue Ridge Magic and is best read after the original series. You’re not going to understand why the old men are so funny if you don’t see the original chaos and you have to meet Deputy Talon the way he was meant to be seen, cussing about f-ing aliens and wondering what kind of crazy job he signed up for

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter 1

Wren

Best. Town. Ever.

“Didn’t that online list say chocolate starfishes? Why are these strawberry?” The wonderfully fun old dragon leaned over the table inspecting the pile of what I thought was homemade mochi from what I’d overheard and frowned at it like it was a bug.

I still wasn’t sure what was going on but I knew it was going to be amazingly weird. I just had to be patient and quiet until we got to the punch line because the grumpy old dragons who seemed to live at the diner were easily distracted and could quickly jump to a new weird topic before finishing the first one if I wasn’t careful.

It’d happened with the cuffs and I still wasn’t sure if they’d been thinking it was for dicks or not.

Unfortunately, I didn’t know anyone well enough to ask, though, since it might be rude. I still wasn’t sure what was considered bad manners because nothing in the adorably strange little town worked the same way it did anywhere else.

Especially anything that happened at the diner.

It was even weirder than the rest of the town and I loved it.

I loved the weird ways they used magic.

I loved the completely inappropriate conversations.

I loved the way any and all forms of oddness was completely acceptable and encouraged.

I even loved the stupid portal that had finally opened again after only the ancestors knew how long. That should’ve been mostly boring discussions and possibly world-ending planning, but so far it was all just gossip and questions about dinosaurs for some reason.

“They’re raspberry.” Well, it was nice to know the flavor but it really didn’t help satisfy my curiosity. I’d hoped to get more information, but the younger dragon who liked to bake was just frowning at the men too.

Did he not know what the problem was either?

From what I’d been able to figure out, one of their names was Kenzie and he made the best bad decisions. So once I knew which one he was, I knew I needed to be his friend, but it was only my second day in town.

Being patient with introducing myself to the younger dragons seemed like a good idea but being pushy and nosy would’ve been more satisfying.

“Raspberry starfishes sounds like you got a disease that’ll make ya itch.” The second old man shifted his hips like the conversation was making his crotch do terrible things.

What were they talking about?

Okay, better question.

What did they think everyone else was talking about?

It was definitely something fun, so I was really glad Pierce wasn’t with me, but I still had a lot of questions and the funny old men kept blocking my view of the rest of the guys at the table. There was no way my cranky cousin could’ve kept his drama to himself long enough for me to figure out what was going on.

So it might’ve been mean, but I was glad I was by myself.

“I’m kinda surprised that you can bring something like that in here.” Old Man One seemed to think he knew what was going on but the rest of the younger guys looked very confused still. “Miss Nancy’s gonna be shocked at the very least.”

Old Man Two nodded and looked sad for some reason. “Soup is a definite possibility.”

Oh…I knew that one.

Kenzie the dragon hated soup.

Had Kenzie made the mochi?

Was the confused guy who knew it was raspberry Kenzie?

Was the dessert taboo in some way?

They had the weirdest local cultures and had the most interesting conversations, but I was still learning all about it. I’d thought going to the Blue Ridge Mountains for a council meeting would be boring, but so far, it’d been the best trip I’d taken in years.
Weston has a secret…one he hopes his best friend never finds out. He’s got a thing for humiliation and for his best friend. But since that’s hopeless, he’s decided to enlist the best know-it-all ever to help him find the right guy to live out his fantasies with…ones that involve being watched, used, and hopefully humiliated.

Unfortunately, sometimes things don’t go as planned at the Bound & Controlled club.

Cyrus has a secret…one he’s more than ready to get out into the open. He’s got a thing for his secretive best friend. Weston is hiding something and to get to the bottom of it he goes right to the top…Conner. If anyone can help him, it’s the biggest drama queen at Bound & Controlled.

Unfortunately, sometimes things don’t go as planned when dealing with a helpful drama queen.

Author’s This is a sweeter version of humiliation play. It is completely consensual and both main characters are enthusiastic about their desires. The heat level is higher than some of my other books, but it is very much a romance at heart. Each book in the series will be a standalone story. Please see my site for a full list of the content

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter 1

Weston

Somehow the whole situation had gotten completely out of hand and I was blaming it on the troublemaker being fully clothed.

Clearly, I had an unexplored kink for suit porn and it was getting me in trouble. He was much more distracting in a fancy suit than I’d ever imagined but that was probably because I’d only seen him half-naked and in heels up until this point.

“I don’t think that’s a good idea, Conner.” For one thing, Cyrus was my friend and didn’t see me in the naked and doing stuff together category, and for another, I’d never explained about the weird kink thing. “He’s not—”

Shit.

He’d been entirely too close or Conner had been louder than I’d realized.

Maybe both.

“You screeched?” His laid-back smirk and teasing had Conner rolling his eyes, but he didn’t seem frustrated. “What’s Wessie done already?”

Ugh.

“Stop calling me that here. It sounds like I’m a Pomeranian.” I was that annoying sometimes but I didn’t bite and I listened better than his mother’s miscreant mutts. “He misunderstood something. Go away and find someone to talk to.”

Considering we were at a BDSM club, with anyone else I probably should’ve said something naughtier, but Cyrus wasn’t that kind of guy. He was a chat in public and seduce in private kind of guy but he loved the atmosphere at the club and all the interesting people.

He was definitely the people person between the two of us.

“I’m talking to someone.” The big lug seemed to think his purpose in life was to drive me insane because he walked around the small seating area and sat down on the couch next to Conner, his muscular body dwarfing Conner’s as he stretched out to take up the space without thinking about it. “What can I do for you?”

Get a life and go somewhere else so I wouldn’t die of embarrassment.

Ugh.

Okay, too mean and I didn’t really feel that way.

But fuck…I was hard already.

Damn humiliation kink.

The little smirk Conner flashed at me said he knew what I was thinking but that was because he was not only the owner of the club but some kind of psychic creature who was pretending to be human so he could read my mind.

Or the way I was squirming.

Telling myself to sit still, I took a breath and dropped my voice to a whisper so no one else could hear us. “Yellow, Conner. You know this wasn’t what I was aiming for.”

I was not supposed to do anything to humiliate myself in front of Cyrus because getting turned on in front of him was never the goal.

He was my friend.

The sexy lug who could bench-press small cities was just my friend.

We did not get turned on or distracted because our friend’s muscles bulged every time they moved.

Keeping that playing on repeat in the back of my head like I’d done for the past three years, I glared at Conner and did my best to ignore the way Cyrus’s eyes had gone wide. “He and I are friends and you know that.”

Thankfully, Conner listened to my safeword and didn’t spill any secrets, but I wasn’t sure what he’d do next. After a few seconds, he let a breath out slowly and leaned back against the couch. “I won’t share anything personal, but…but you were asking me for something I can’t give you with a stranger involved. It has to be someone you know, and you know Cyrus the best.”

Fuck.

Fuck.

Fuck.

“Then I’ll leave it alone for now.” I’d figure out a way to play with the fantasy once I found a Dom who didn’t think I was insane or that wasn’t insane himself. “Next time please make that clear before you involve anyone else in a conversation.”

He’d done it on purpose but for the life of me I couldn’t figure out why.

I could, however, change the subject dramatically, so I focused on Cyrus, who looked confused. “I thought you were going to go see what was happening in the back.”

He liked the small stages that were set up to show different demonstrations and scenes. It was a fun way to pass the time and he usually ended up finding someone to talk to, so he should’ve been having fun and nowhere near me.

Conner was watching silently for once, but Cyrus swallowed hard and frowned like he still had no idea what he’d walked into. “Um, they had to switch up the schedule at the last minute and were doing things I wasn’t into.”

Impact play.

Cyrus was big enough he had a fear of hurting someone smaller than him, so he generally avoided any kind of impact play scenes if they had paddles or anything like that. He was good with spankings but that was where his comfort zone left the building.

“Oh.” Well, fuck. Change of plans. “How about we go get dinner instead? You like the Italian place down the street.”
Dally knows he’s going to get what he wants…he always does. But sometimes compromise is key to making sure getting it goes smoothly, and right now, what he wants is the adorable Harley who looks like a bouncer but is sweet as sugar. However, in order to keep his new boy, Dally’s picked up a straggler…the annoyingly handsome pain-in-the-behind Santos.

Santos knows there’s no way to use logic when dealing with someone as crazy as Dally. But sometimes getting what he wants comes with some bumps in the road, so he does the only thing he can and decides to keep sweet Harley and the walking-talking definition of insanity…Dally. Unfortunately, sometimes crazy comes in an interesting package and he can’t be held accountable for that.

Harley has no idea what’s going on or how he’s ended up with a Daddy and a Papa that have decided to keep him. Finding one guy who accepts his lactation and realizes he’s not as take-charge as he looks has always been hard enough, but now he’s got two and he’s not sure what to do about it…or how to keep them from fight-kissing on his lap. Who knew that was a thing?

Sometimes compromise is key, but sometimes it’s a sweet helper who brings two stubborn men together and makes a family of three.

67k words

Their Little Helper is part of The Lactin Brotherhood shared world about men who naturally lactate and the guys who need them. This is a DD/lb age play lactation kink solo book by M.A. Innes, although other authors are also writing and co-writing in this universe

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

1

DALLY

“No. I’m sorry but that’s terrible logic. Useful is a much better indication of a successful long-term partnership.” How did people make such ridiculous decisions about dating? Especially two such attractive men. “What can you do? Home repairs? Balance his checkbook? Do you plan really good vacations?”

There were so many more skills that would be useful long term and practical was incredibly sexy.

“Um, no.” The athletic-looking blond blinked at me as the slightly bored businessman who’d been chatting him up cocked his head curiously. “I…I give good head?”

“That’s not going to work. Eventually his dick isn’t going to work either.” And there was definitely an age gap between the two men, so we had to consider that. “We’ll all get there. It’s nothing personal but we need to figure out other options for you to use as your primary skill set.”

What would they do when the vanilla-looking businessman’s dick was done?

Age gap couples needed to plan better, but they never did.

Okay, we could fix this. They had good chemistry, that’d been obvious just eavesdropping, so we simply needed to push them to talk about more practical things.

Like oil changes and vacations and grocery shopping…the important shit that would make or break a relationship.

God, what if one of them was a grocery store lister and one was a pantser and they couldn’t handle that?

“Let’s try it another way.” Basketball build guy just needed a push in a new direction. Athletic meant hardworking, so we needed to figure out where else he worked hard. “What else makes you feel accomplished?”

He’d been bragging about his sexual skills to begin with, but what else was he proud of?

“You clearly like oral sex and doing well at that, so what else gives you that same sense of proficiency?” Hopefully he could figure out something else that didn’t involve his ass or his mouth. Unfortunately, our bored businessman seemed to think those were a dime a dozen.

“I…oh, um.” Our blond cutie blinked and actually blushed. “It’s stupid.”

Now we were getting somewhere.

“I don’t want to hear that.” Especially since the sexy businessman was clearly paying a lot more attention. The cutie had gone from a hookup to something more. “Feeling skilled or gifted at something is important.”

It kept sexy cuties interesting in the long run.

“I…well…I clean really well.” For some reason he thought that was something to be embarrassed about, but when me and the businessman nodded seriously, he kept going. “I…I like it. And…and I can cook.”

Yep, business guy liked that.

Had no one ever taken care of him?

He looked like the type where even his housekeeper didn’t seem to like him.

“So would you call yourself a caretaker or are you just focused on making a good home for your partner?” The blush was back, but he was adorable and looked so sweet and submissive the business guy shifted his hand to adjust his erection.

For some reason, that was what made our sexy athlete squirm. “I’m not annoying. I can keep that stuff to myself.”

Oh dear.

It was time for his Dom to step in.

“Did you hear that?” Ridiculous. “Someone made him feel bad for wanting to take care of his Dom. That’s terrible. He needs to know how sexy you found that. I’m pretty sure a bit of cuddling would go a long way too.”

They needed less talk of orgasms and erections and more talk about feeling safe and supported. “Then once he’s feeling more secure, an orgasm and a nursing session would go a long way. He keeps staring at your chest but he doesn’t seem like the type to ask for what he wants.”

How people ended up at a Lactin Brotherhood meet-and-greet and didn’t talk about the lactating part always surprised me.

Now they were both gaping at me.

“Cuddles.” Waving my arms between them, I stepped back from their table. “Go find one of the couches in the corner. Quiet orgasms if you get that far.”

Because loud ones were evidently frowned upon.

Judgy idiots.

Orgasms should always be loud.

Business guy sighed at me and shook his head, but it was a familiar reaction anytime I won, so I knew I could move on. “Have fun.”

Hoping they could behave and not go back to the oral sex discussion, I forced myself to walk away. “You can’t babysit everyone. Sometimes you have to let people sink or swim on their own.”

It was painful, though.

But I told myself they’d make good decisions and understand why I was right as I started to wander around the room again. The Lactin Brotherhood meetings were always fun one way or another.

I liked getting to help people, but it was okay to be selfish once in a while. “Time to find someone for me.”

I’d helped the oral sex couple and the guy with a thing for the confused waiter and the Dom who was hot for the other Dom. That seemed like they were going to need a sub who loved to bottom, but they could figure that out.
I should’ve never crafted drunk.

Ashton knew being too honest when putting ideas into their jar of fantasies would come back to bite him at some point, and unfortunately he’s finally reached that point. So…now what? How is he supposed to explain his slightly curious fantasies when he isn’t sure where to start?

Maybe he just needs better ways to avoid the conversation completely?

Micha knows his not-so-subtle partner is hiding something…probably something ridiculous, knowing Ashton…but he’s got to decide how long he’s willing to let the insanity continue. Eventually, Ashton has to say what’s on his mind, right?

When crafting leads to nervous confessions and laughter, tickling won’t be the only thing that brings them closer together than ever before.

Author’s This was originally in the Naughty November 2024 anthology under the Shaw side of things, but it’s been expanded and has been moved over to the MA Innes side. Ashton is curious about a lot of things, but Hiding From Laughter explores tickling that leads to a loss of bladder control and the little side he’s doing his best to ignore. Please see the author’s site for a longer content list

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter 1

Ashton

“Did you need to work tonight?” Micha’s words were casual but there was a hint of don’t bullshit me in his tone.

Fuck.

“Um, no.” Clearly, pretending to have to work late on nights it was supposed to be my turn to pick hadn’t been as subtle as I’d hoped. “I’m done for the weekend.”

The fact that I was slightly frustrated about that said a lot about my state of mind because I loved my big lug more than life itself and he was starting to give me his I’m pissed look.

It was subtle. He wasn’t the type to get loud and angry. No, it was worse…he got disappointed. Ugh. I was such a dick.

Micha looked relaxed as he leaned back against the couch and flicked through the options on the TV, but his twitchy foot gave him away. It was one of his only tells and I’d been careful not to point it out, so to see his foot shift up and down made it clear he wasn’t as calm as he appeared. “You know, there’s probably a new movie out we could go see if you want.”

Ugh.

I was a royal dick.

“It’s Friday.” Frowning, I glanced over at the jar on the bookshelf. “And it’s my Friday. I get to pick.”

After a night of kinky crafts like decorating a jar with penis ribbon, the silly game of pulling kinks and BDSM topics out of the jar had started off as something ridiculous we’d done to spice things up without it being too stressful…but now it had gotten stressful. After a year of us alternating picking one out of the jar each week, we were down to only a handful, and somehow they’d ended up being the ones I was most nervous about.

I should’ve never crafted drunk.

After more than one drink, I lost all inhibitions and actually answered things honestly.

It was fucking dangerous, and while I had too much self-respect to cheat and go fishing for the ones I wanted to hide, I had questionable enough morals to try to avoid them.

Which was how I’d ended up with a frustrated partner looking at me like he didn’t believe me for a second.

He was really smart.

“Ashton, do you understand why I’m questioning what you want?” His unfortunately very reasonable question had me trying not to look too innocent. He wouldn’t believe it at all and I’d just end up looking more guilty.

“Um…” Ugh. He kept asking questions that were going to get me in trouble. “Yes. But there’s nothing to worry about.”

Trying to subtly work in the truth didn’t help the situation.

Nope.

He picked me up off the couch and sat me on his lap.

Sometimes one of my favorite things about our relationship was our size difference but sometimes it made me want to pout like a disgruntled five-year-old.

“I tried being patient.” Micha looked like that plan wasn’t in play any longer. “I tried asking you open-ended questions.”

Oh, yeah.

“Sorry?” I hadn’t exactly been a dick with those but I hadn’t been helpful either.

He huffed.

Ugh.

“I gave you space to work through your thoughts.” His gaze narrowed and he glared at me. I had to remind my dick that it wasn’t supposed to be sexy and he was an idiot if he thought Micha was trying to play with us. “Those plans didn’t work.”

Duh.

It was me we were talking about and he’d clearly forgotten that part.

“I’m sorry I frustrated you. That wasn’t my intention.” Avoiding the situation we were currently in had been my goal but that’d failed spectacularly. “Would you like to skip jar night and do something else? You’re kind of stressed.”

Understatement of the year right there.

“Do you want a blow job? How about we go get ice cream?” For a guy who looked a bit like a lumberjack and a biker had a baby, he loved sweets, and ice cream was one of his favorite things. “I could go for some chocolate ice cream.”

Oh, he was weakening.

“You could come over and ask me if I’d recommend it.” Raising one eyebrow, I gave him a quick peck. “You were so cute when you first tried flirting with me.”

He’d been adorably awkward when he’d been trying not to make me nervous, but what he hadn’t realized was that he was my walking fantasy, and I’d nearly come just seeing him.

Finally chuckling, he shook his head and tried to glare at me again. “You are not going to get out of this conversation just by looking cute.”

I was certainly going to try.

Wiggling on his lap, I cocked my head and pouted. “Don’t you want to pretend to go on our first date again?”

He snorted. “That was not our first date and you know it.”

Ha.

“But you’re not going to distract me with that argument either.” And he got me that time, finally glaring again. “Good try, though.”
Merritt
Chaos. Merritt isn’t sure how the locals have survived without killing themselves, but he’s starting to understand why the fates decided he needed to help with the portal. He’s a nurse. Yes, fate was brilliant with pairing mates and keeping excitable dragons from killing themselves on a regular basis. Luckily for fate and his newfound mate, Merritt is ready for a few changes in his life.

Pierce
Chaos. Pierce isn’t sure how anyone in town survives the chaos they create on a regular basis. As a lawyer nothing should surprise him, but he’s doing his best not to pull his hair out when the fates decide to reward his patience with a precious gift. His mate. His adorable little mate, who luckily for all involved, has fallen in love with the craziness.
When a frustrated lawyer meets a little whose job in life is to save his Daddy from bad manners, two lonely lives will never be the same…and neither will the portal

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter 1

Pierce

“Are you sure we aren’t already in an alternate reality? Another planet? One of those Marvel multiverse things?” The locals were all so strange. “There are clowns everywhere.”

“I don’t know.” Frowning, Wren shrugged. “Um, they’re all kind of weird, but I’m pretty sure we haven’t gone through a portal.”

Since we were in the crazy town to figure out what was happening with the portal, I hoped we hadn’t gone through it accidentally.

But with the number of clowns I was seeing, anything was possible.

Clowns.

Not even just stupid people running around asking weird questions…they had clowns.

“They go well with all the sparkly white decorations, though.” Wren probably only liked it because he was little and loved anything sparkly, but he wasn’t exactly wrong. Reality-bending choices aside, it was beautiful…but he was just accepting the insanity at face value.

He wasn’t even questioning why some of the flowers had a very magically manipulated vibe to them either.

Did carnations naturally come in glittery white?

I’d seen any number of oddly dyed flowers at the weddings I’d been dragged to over the years, but something was off with perfectly sparkly flowers that didn’t seem to droop even when half the vases were dry.

One of the clowns had clearly been in charge of watering them.

“It’s…how did we get dragged into coming to a wedding reception again?” His sigh at my question said he knew whose fault it was.

“But everyone is so nice.” Barely pouting, Wren aimed wide eyes at me, looking very much like the bird he’d been named after. It wouldn’t work, but he liked practicing on me since he hadn’t found his mate yet. “And they said we’d get cake.”

I’d have bought him the fucking bakery if it would’ve kept me out of the strange party.

“I’m pretty sure half the room doesn’t understand why they’re here.” I wasn’t exaggerating either. Someone had already come up to me asking if I knew when the baby was due and several kept looking at the clowns like they were aliens. “This town is odd.”

And it wasn’t the mix of human and other that mingled so easily.

“I think it might be all the people from the different councils.” Wren liked to see the bright side in everything. How we were related I’d never know. “The locals seem to understand why we’re here because they’re very angry they didn’t get to go to the wedding.”

“How did you hear that?” The only thing I’d picked up was that the couple was a mixed pair and true mates. There’d also been something about bugs, but I couldn’t decide if they meant listening devices or actual insects.

And asking hadn’t gone anywhere either.

“I go to the diner more often than you do.” Wren shrugged, having happily thrown himself into the town chaos. “The gossip’s hot there, not the bakery.”

That explained why he’d picked up a passion for diner food since we’d gotten to the ridiculous town.

“The men at the bakery don’t ask me nearly as many strange questions as the ones at the diner.” I still couldn’t decide why I should tell anyone if I was Team Pony or Team Binkie.

I’d gotten the distinction more quickly than several other newbies in the diner had at that point, but it wasn’t anyone’s fucking business if I wanted a pony or a little. Unfortunately, my refusal to participate and maybe my frown at the whole ridiculousness put me in something they were describing as Team Badass.

I hadn’t asked what that meant since the men kept frowning and nodding like I was an interesting science experiment.

Pressing his lips together to keep from laughing, Wren was saved from my frustration by a hush coming over the crowd. He’d happily announced binkies were the best and then explained I was his cousin and still believed in the quaint notion of privacy.

Quaint.

He’d actually used that word.

“They’re coming. Shh.” I couldn’t place the voice but they weren’t terribly old and everyone quickly obeyed. “Quiet.”

Half the room looked very confused and the other half were vibrating with excitement. Even the clowns looked ready to explode in a shower of glitter as the door started to open.

“Surprise!” The excitement finally burst out of them and the sound was thunderous.

The men at the door were clearly mates and obviously faking their surprise, but everyone else seemed to believe it, so I decided to keep my thoughts to myself.

“Oh wow.” The human gave wide eyes and looked around the room like he’d never imagined anything like it. “This is…”

Horrifying.

I was starting to understand why they’d gotten married in secret.

“Congratulations!” Another random round of excitement rushed through the room, and I was pretty sure I heard several people saying, “Happy birthday,” and that one old woman who seemed to think we were at a baby shower called out, “It’s a boy,” which made the two men try not to laugh.
When Santa comes with more tentacles than presents, the company Christmas party will never be the same and two adorable cuties might just fall in love.
(Full blurb coming soon.)

Tinsel and Tentacles 2.0 is multi-author winter holiday M/M tentacle romance collaboration. All books in the series are standalones but may be connected to some authors’ pre-existing worlds. Each book in the series brings festive fun related to a variety of winter holidays and explores the many delightful ways tentacles can be naughty and nice!

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter 1

Colby

“Santa has…tentacles.” There was a mix of surprise and confusion in his voice, but I wasn’t sure why.

The aliens that had settled on Earth had taken a variety of fun jobs and there seemed to be very little logic to some of them. If he wanted to explore being Santa for the holidays, who were we to tell him no?

“He’s got a great beard, though.” It was much better looking than last year’s Santa even if it was just as fake. “And he’s clearly having fun. Look at how they’re all wiggling.”

And the grin he was wearing… Santa was having fun.

“But…but Santa has tentacles.”

Jim really couldn’t move past that point.

“At least no one will fall off his lap this year.” Our company had hired some questionable Santas in the past. It seemed like we could help fight for workers’ rights, but we couldn’t protect our own employees from a half-drunk Santa. “He’s keeping everyone really safe.”

Without being inappropriate, unfortunately.

No, not unfortunately.

It was a very good thing that Santa’s hands weren’t wandering. Limbs. Santa’s limbs weren’t wandering.

“Yeah…I guess it’s good he’s being safe.” Jim’s words were polite but his eyes were a bit too wide. “I think…I think I’m going to get a drink. Do you want to come too?”

That seemed to be a polite way of saying he’d decided he didn’t want to sit on Santa’s lap any longer. I wasn’t sure why he’d been game to do it when he thought it was the same creepy guy from last year but somehow tentacle Santa was going too far.

This Santa would cause crime rates to go down, property values to go up, and he’d be wonderfully helpful.

They all were.

The goodie-goodies of the galaxy had moved in next door, but they were also big and sexy as fuck. So basically, every dirty book reader’s wet dream. Mine included.

“No.” It was going to be fun to be able to sit on Santa’s lap and not worry about squishing him. Rental Santas hadn’t been as sturdy lately as they’d used to be. “I need to tell Santa that I want a date for Christmas.”

Since it was a well-known, but confusing, fact that the aliens didn’t care if people were gay or straight, I wasn’t going to worry about asking for what I really wanted. What wasn’t quite as well known was that they were super curious about submissives, but I wasn’t sure my office Christmas party was the place to mention that fact.

There’d been some interesting shenanigans last year, though, so no matter what I did, as long as I kept my clothes on and stayed away from the copy machine, I’d still be considered boring.

Working at an interesting company that tried to be open-minded backfired sometimes…but sometimes it was useful.

“You’re…” Jim’s eyes went even wider. “You’re going to sit on his lap?”

Since that’d been our plan to begin with, I wasn’t sure why that was so surprising. “Yes, I won’t squish this one and he’s sober. I’m going to have fun.”

I’d never talked about being a sub, but no matter how big I was, I didn’t see how it could’ve surprised anyone. I also couldn’t figure out how me being gay was fine with Jim but the smiling Santa was going to give him a heart attack. “Janet over in HR was heading toward the bar earlier. Why don’t you go say hi?”

She was a judgy pain in the ass, but for some reason, he seemed to like that.

Hmm.

Okay, maybe I was starting to understand why he liked her.

But how was being gay okay but being tentacled was not?

I was never going to understand the stuff people ended up being prejudiced about.

“Yeah…I’ll…” He turned and wandered away as his voice trailed off, but I was just glad he hadn’t said anything technically offensive.

Janet in HR wouldn’t like that at all.

She’d have to do her job if he was too straightforward in how creeped out he was.

“Bye.” Shaking my head, I turned toward the line waiting to talk to Santa. “Not too bad.”

There were at least ten people waiting for Santa, but I didn’t mind waiting especially when it seemed like I was one of the last people in line. I’d done a lot of mingling before I’d found Santa in the conference room, so I was glad that had helped give the line time to dwindle down. But the fact there were still enough people wanting to play along that I wouldn’t stand out was wonderful too. The mix of single adults and kids who were giggling made it so I actually blended in.
Who’s Your Daddy?

Terrence isn’t worried about figuring out who his Secret Santa is…all the possibilities are fun. But he’s a little curious, especially when the card is signed by his Secret Santa Daddy. Okay, he’s definitely curious, but since it has to be one of the contractors currently rebuilding his kitchen…accidents happen…he’s not worried, but he is hoping it’s the grumpy one. Wait. What was his name again?

Enzo isn’t worried. He knows the slightly distractible little will figure things out eventually, and if he doesn’t, well, one of his cousins will help the cutie out. They find him just as fascinating as Enzo does, but finders keepers, so the cutie belongs to him. Besides, he’s the only Daddy in the group, so that’s going to work in his favor too. As long as he can get his mischievous little to actually try to guess who his Santa is.

When a Secret Santa brings presents and attention, a naughty cutie might need a push to help him remember that the best gifts need a Daddy to play with.

This holiday season is full of secrets. Secret Daddies that is. Follow a few of your favorite MM authors as they bring you tales of kisses, cuddles, and holiday cheer.
“I have sexy news and weird news.” Sitting down across from Leander, I ignored his sigh. “Which do you want first?”

Cocking his head, he frowned. “Isn’t it supposed to be good news and bad news?”

“Yes, but that didn’t work in this situation, so I fixed it.” Sometimes words just needed to be more flexible.

Leander’s sigh came back. “What did you do?”

“Um, nothing out of the ordinary.” He always expected the worst when I started a story. He was definitely a glass half empty kind of guy.

Or glass half-filled with poison kind of guy since he watched so many true crime shows.

“That doesn’t narrow it down.” Frowning, he crossed his arms over his chest and looked a bit like some of my teachers in high school. “Confess and explain.”

He was so dramatic…and unfortunately not as hot as my teachers had been.

“Well, I told the tall one I could climb him like a monkey. I told the short one that he’d be a good body pillow. He’s just the right size and he wasn’t offended. I like short guys. They have a better center of gravity and can really pound you.” Leander looked like I’d offended someone, but the short guy had just grinned and strutted around the rest of the day.

What else?

I was forgetting something…I knew I should’ve taken notes.

“Oh, and I told the one who looks bored that I knew how to cheer him up. Honestly, that wasn’t meant to be as dirty as it came out.” Shrugging, I didn’t let it bother me. “But it came out, so I have to count it too.”

He was just so distracting.

“Oh, and I should probably add in the young one because he giggles every time I walk into a room. So I’ve done something.” I wasn’t sure what I’d done, though.

Leander rolled his eyes. “That doesn’t explain nearly as much as you think it does.”

“Really?” Hmm. “It doesn’t?”

What had I left out?

Oh.

“Okay, maybe I left out the important part. It’s just been a long week.” They started so early and I didn’t have the common sense to go to bed at a decent time. “I have a Secret Santa. It’s one of my contractors. But I don’t know which one.”

Leander’s donkey brays had me rolling my eyes. “Stop laughing.”

“I’m not going to agree to that.” Barely catching his breath, he closed his eyes and shook his head. “Only you could end up in a situation this ridiculous.”

Ugh, he didn’t even know the full story yet.

“It’s worse. I don’t know which one it is and I was under the assumption they’re all straight.” It was very confusing. “They all have ex-girlfriends.”

I knew that because they gossiped and teased each other a lot.

A lot.

So I knew there were a variety of exes running around the area and some were crazier than others. The tall one liked spicy crazy. The short one liked shy girls that made him crazy. The giggler hadn’t dated nearly enough but he was still young. Oh, and my bored guy liked girls who were good with math and had too much common sense.

I wasn’t sure how that was bad but his tone and the rest of the guys’ laughter said it was tragic…and hilarious.

“They might be bi or they might be fucking with you.” Leander wasn’t as helpful as he thought if those were his only options.

“I really hope it’s not the fucking with me one. I need my kitchen remodel done at some point and I’d hate to keep going to the trouble of baking cookies for assholes.” My whole kitchen was in my laundry room, so it was a pain in the ass. “I like baking and I like watching them moan as they eat chocolate chip cookies. They pouted over raisins. They’re very dramatic.”

Leander barked out a laugh. “Takes one to know one.”

“I’m going to ignore that.” True or not, it was still rude. “You must’ve had a long day.”

“You do that and see if it helps figure out your Secret Santa.” Shaking his head, Leander looked like he was finally starting to take my problem seriously. “Are you sure you actually have a Secret Santa and didn’t just find someone’s to-do list?”

No.

“It was a Build-A-Bear with tools and a little contractor’s hat and the note was signed by my Secret Santa.” I was positive.

“Okay, well, that’s hard to misunderstand then.” He raised one eyebrow and looked at me skeptically. “But if anyone could, it’d be you.”

I wasn’t going to dignify that with an answer.

“And they all pretended not to know what it was when I found it on my dining room table when I came down for breakfast this morning.” That had been suspicious. “No one breaks into your house to be a Secret Santa. Even that guy who was arrested for stalking said I was too annoying to make it enjoyable.”
