Candyman is not the man to build forever on.
All he's ever known is the freedom of the road, his club, and the camaraderie of his brothers.
Women had only one use and they could come or go, he didn't really care.
As long as he got what he wanted, he'd prefer they disappear.
Until Izzy.
She changes everything.
When she turns him down.
He takes the choice out of her hands.
Izzy is his. She might fight him, but that's just going to make it more interesting for him.
(Working Blurb)

Over the top alpha
no cheating
HEA

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

1

HOW TO NOT LOSE YOUR VIRGINITY TO A MAN WHORE

IZZY

“I’ve missed you.”

I jump slightly when I hear his voice. I wasn’t expecting anyone to be here—especially him. I take a deep breath and turn around to see the man I’ve been thinking about nonstop. A man I have no business letting get to me.

“Candy-boy. I didn’t think I’d see you here today.”

He smirks at my reworked nickname for him. I shouldn’t like the sparkle in his eyes, but I do—way too much. I don’t know what it is about this guy, but I can admit I’m drawn to him. Then again, I’m also drawn to chocolate, and if I ate it like I wanted to, I’d weigh five hundred pounds. Just because I like it doesn’t mean I’m going to indulge. It’s a hard lesson I learned from my childhood and one I still use today. I was what some around me used to refer to as pleasantly plump. God, I hated those words. I was in the fourth grade and weighed a hundred and twenty pounds. I was also five-six and had C-cup breasts. I began to hate my body, and as the girls in my class mocked me and the boys would whisper, snicker, and flip my bra strap, I began a downward spiral when it came to my self-worth and appeal. My immediate family loved me, but they did not know the hell that I lived through—especially the one inside my mind.

“Griff was going to bring Savage, but when I found out you were in, I came.”

I frown, letting my gaze move up and down, taking him all in. You’d be stupid not to admit that the man was hot as hell. I wasn’t usually attracted to men with lighter-colored hair. I could admit, however, that blond hair looked damn good on Caleb. I sigh because I remember his first name, even if I shouldn’t. I pretty much remember everything about him because I dream about the asshole a lot. I hate that I do, but it’s out of my hands. It’s his fault. He seriously looks like a Greek god, with long blond hair that falls just below his shoulders. It’s got a wave and curl to it that most women pay a fortune to create at a salon. His ripped body is covered in ink, and his face looks as if it was chiseled out of stone that was blessed by the gods.

He's perfection—everything that I’m not.

He’s also a player and nothing I can have. I have goals and set timelines to achieve them. I don’t have time to take a walk on the wild side. Besides, whatever Caleb’s interest in me is, it’s not the relationship I want for my future. He sees wild sex and a woman who knows the score and the ways of a biker.

He doesn’t realize that what he’d get with me is a woman who knows his world and wants to remain on the outside of it. A woman who plans on being a damn good doctor and trauma surgeon. A woman who wants a strong, steady, dependable man. A man who won’t stray and will devote himself to me and our two-point-five children.

That thought makes me smile. I read an article once that said the average happy life equates to a house in the suburbs with a picket fence, two-point-five kids, and a pet dog. I don’t know how you achieve the two-point-five. I figure it’s an average of all the families polled, but the thought makes me giggle. For my part, a devoted, stable husband, two kids—a boy and girl—and a family dog is definitely my long-term goal. Short-term? I just want to pass my exams and stay at the head of my class.

“Should I worry you know my schedule? Are you stalking me?”

Even as I ask the question, the absurdity of it makes me cringe. I don’t know the Kings of Anarchy club. They’re in Tennessee, which isn’t that far from here. My cousin Spider knows them, though. Spider is the son of Aunt Beth and Uncle Skull. We grew up together and we’re super close. More so since the death of Spider’s brother, Diego. When I told him about Caleb approaching me at Beau and BB’s house before all hell broke loose, he warned me away. I knew it anyway, but according to Spider, Caleb is definitely a player and the biggest man whore around. In fact, he’s notorious. Spider knows a guy who is pledging for the Kings, and let’s just say the description of Caleb’s exploits with the biker bunnies is enough to keep me away from him for life.

“Stalking? I prefer to call it strategically planning my next Izzy fix,” he purrs.

I shake my head. “I’m going to stop you right there. I don’t know what you have going on in that head of yours, but you need to stop.”
I’m not that girl.
I don’t turn heads inspiring grown men to act sweet and goofy to impress me.
I’ve never been that girl.
One look at BB and I knew he was the one.
Me. Tomboy-nothing-soft-about-me, instantly friend zoned by every man I meet.
Yep, plain, old boring me had the sexy, new vice president of Devil’s Blaze walking over, kissing me until my lungs burned from lack of oxygen.
I fell in love instantly, seeing forever in his eyes.
BB? Well, he kicked me out of bed the next morning.
I was already damaged. BB destroyed me.

I thought the gorgeous blonde at our club party knew the score. Boy, was I wrong.
Now, I need to find a way to repair a burned bridge—one very important to the Devil’s Blaze.
I’m ordered to leave Beau Harper alone.
It should be easy to do—except for one small thing.
I can’t get her out of my head. I want more. I want everything.
I’m damaged goods with enough baggage to fill an entire airport.
She deserves better, but I can’t help myself.
One way or another, I’m going to claim that woman as mine.

Standalone Romance

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Prologue

BB

“Yo, Harper. Time to get up,” I tell the hot piece currently lying on my bed at the compound.

Last night, we had a hell of a party at the club welcoming King as our new president, as well as my cousin Gabby back into the family fold. They’d gotten married a few weeks back and just returned from their honeymoon a few days ago. Gabby’s happier than I can ever remember seeing her. It’s clear King is totally gone for her, too. All of that, I can’t deny, is very, very good.

The club had fallen apart after losing Diego, a member, my cousin, my closest brother, and the next in line to take over. Shit like that cuts every member deep. His death was even more devastating because it deeply affected all of our original members, including my father, who was heartbroken. It was like some light in them was just extinguished. It became apparent they didn’t have it in them to lead the club forward. So, it fell on all of us to step up.

I’m mildly hungover, which is annoying. I should have laid off the tequila last night. I’m also more than a little put out that Harper is still here. We had a great time last night, lots of drinking, some kick-ass conversation in a way I’ve never had before with a biker bunny. We also had a lot of some serious fucking. Jesus, I pounded into her luscious body so much through the night the girl had to have some major bruises on her body. I’m currently looking at one now on her damn ass. I probably held her too hard on her cheek when I was slamming balls deep into her. I took while she was trapped between me and the wall. Wasn’t the first time I’d fucked a woman against a wall. I will say, it was probably the best.

Harper could fuck. Every single time she took my dick, it was like slipping into heaven. It was fast, hard, and absolutely fantastic. I’ve had more than my share of women and Harper was number fuck-me-until-my-cock-was-ready-to-fall-off one. Seriously, the woman took pleasure, gave it, and did it in a way that left no doubt she enjoyed it.

If I didn’t have a shit-filled day ahead, I’d give her another go. Hell, maybe two or three.

“Wha … What?”

Harper’s voice seems to wrap around my dick. If I didn’t have my pants already on, I’d call King and tell him I couldn’t make the meeting. Wouldn’t be a great way to act around the new president of the Devil’s Blaze, but he had made me his second in command, so I figured I could get away with it.

“Sucks, babe. I would have liked to spend the morning with that mouth of yours choking on my cock until you gagged on it, but I got shit to do.”

I look down at the woman in my bed. I think I register confusion and hurt on her face before it disappears and she’s pushing the mass of her ruffled hair from her face. As I watch her, it hits me—just like it did last night—she is fucking gorgeous. Harper has this thick blonde hair that is a mixture of white and gold. She reminds me of a young Michelle Pfeiffer, only prettier if you can believe that shit. I’m not sure I could tell you what color Michelle’s eyes are. That’s only because I was more into her hair, her smile, and her long legs. Harper has all that, with the addition of bright blue eyes that remind you of the summer sky. It also helps that her tits and her ass are ample, begging a man to enjoy them. All this means that it really is annoying that she didn’t leave like most biker bunnies do after a party night because I want to fuck her again and can’t. This irritation is exacerbated by the fact Harper is not a Devil’s Blaze regular. I’ve not seen her at the parties before. It’s clear by the way she partied that she’s experienced at it. Maybe she’s one of our allies’ club girls and made the trip here. It doesn’t happen often, but it has been known to. Hopefully, she’s just a local girl looking to get in the life. That would mean I could tap her ass when I got a hankering and with Harper looking the way she looks, and giving it the way she gives, that would definitely happen often.

“What are you going on about, Cowboy? You fucked me until five this morning. I’m worn out. I need sleep,” she mutters, rubbing her eyes in a cute way that again makes me want to fuck her.

“I have a meeting which means I gotta go. Which means you have to get out, babe.”
He lost four years of his life.
Now he’s back with vengeance on his mind.

Blade
Four years ago, I was convicted of killing my own brother.
I didn’t do it, but I sure as hell know who did.
Now that I’m free, I’ll stop at nothing to avenge him.
My plans begin with a beautiful, curvy blonde with blue eyes.
Olivia Davis.
She claims to be innocent.
The blood running through her veins makes her guilty.
She’s the key to taking down the Feral Kings MC and that’s really all that matters.
Nothing can save her, least of all me.

Olivia
Blade Aetos is the type of man that women dream of.
He’s the answer to every prayer I’ve whispered.
I can’t believe it when he tells me he loves me.
He puts a ring on my finger, but too soon I realize my new husband is just a fantasy.
He doesn’t have a heart.
The real Blade Aetos is a monster

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

1 BLADE

Six Years Ago

“You have everything covered, stop worrying,” Bear laughs.

“Man, this is an important meeting. I don’t want to fuck it up,” I mutter as we walk toward the Convention Center in Gatlinburg, Tennessee.

Bear surprises me by stopping before we begin walking up the concrete steps leading to the entrance. He claps his large, beefy hand on my shoulder, giving me a squeeze. “There’s a lot in this fucked-up world that I worry about, Blade, but I’ve never worried about you. You are going to ace this meeting and we’re going to achieve every damn thing we want. I have no doubts at all, and you shouldn’t either.”

I stare at my brother. I can see the confidence he has in me. He’s fifteen years older than I am and he’s basically been the only father figure in my life. His approval means everything to me. “Thank you, Bear. I never want to disappoint you.”

He grins and pounds me on the back. “You never will.”

We start walking into the building. I allow myself to concentrate on him, trying to calm my nerves at the same time. Bear and I don’t really look like brothers. He took after our mother, who was a proud daughter of a Cherokee chief. My hair may be the color of my mother’s, and I have her eyes, but I mostly look like our father. That’s hard to swallow because he was nothing but a piece of shit. Bear’s hair is long, falling near the middle of his back. He is battle-hardened from his years in the Saints Outlaws Motorcycle Club. He moved from the mother chapter in Boston, coming back home to Cherokee, North Carolina to take over care of me after our mother died.

Right now, it would be even harder to tell Bear and I are related. He’s wearing his faded jeans, a Metallica tee, with his hair hanging free and untamed, and his club cut proudly worn—regardless of the purpose we’re here today. On the other hand, I’m in a suit and tie. My hair is neatly trimmed, and my beard is gone. Fuck, I don’t even recognize myself when I look in the mirror. I don’t like it, but everything hinges on getting the approval for this casino.

I’ll do whatever I need to do to ensure success. Our people need this. Right now, the town is a dying tourist trap, forcing proud people to play dress up—showing off their Native American heritage—and pose for pictures. This casino will put a stop to that, while injecting some much-needed capital. With that, we can make sure housing, as well as educational and professional opportunities are offered to our people and their children—like it should have been all along.

This is important to both of us but even if it wasn’t a dream I shared with my brother, I’d still do it. I owe Bear everything. He put me through school, uprooted his life, and then allowed me to prove myself as a member of his club. I worked hard so that I could rule it beside my brother, yet only the immediate club recognizes me as the Vice President. It wasn’t a position I was handed, I earned it, taking down any challenge for the office that I received.

Now, I’m hiding who I am. I don’t want any of these bigwigs thinking I’m part of the club. I’ve taken steps constantly to hide that fact—I’ve had to. We didn’t want any bias from the assholes on the board. They didn’t need to find a reason to deny our right to put in the casino. After we get the approval and have the right men in place, they’re all in for a shock.

It wouldn’t be so bad, but there’s a club trying to move into our area that Bear has been fighting. The Feral Kings MC are slime. We’ve been fighting them for a while. We’ve lost a couple of members in the war, but we’ve taken some of their ranked members, too. We’ll win, but right now is not a good time to wage an all-out war. Bear says we have to make the casino our priority. He’s right, but the quicker we can take the Feral Kings and their president, Eyeball, out—the better. He’s a sick, twisted asshole who is quite literally a psychopath. If any man deserves to die, it’s him.

“Bear!”

At the sound of my brother’s name being called out happily, I look and watch as the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen in my life makes her way over to us. She’s stunning. Long, wavy blonde hair that is pulled high on her head in a ponytail that still falls past her shoulders. The woman is also sporting a slim but athletic figure, with just enough curves to make my dick stand up and take notice. I admire the soft white dress that falls just a little above her knee. It clings to her body, but still looks almost innocent on her. My favorite thing about her, however, is that she’s probably a foot smaller than I am. I tower over her and there’s just something I really like about that. I can’t explain what it is. I’ve never really noticed a woman’s height before but fuck if I don’t like her being shorter than me.
Grifter hasn't been in Tennessee long. He stepped in as president for the Kings of Anarchy, Tennessee Chapter on the fly.
Georgia Cutter caught his eye at once. He wanted her with a hunger inside that he'd never felt before.
Just when he's about to make his move sparks fly--in the form of gunfire.

Grifter will need to figure out who's trying to kill him, and how to keep his woman safe at the same time.
It's a task that would be a lot easier to accomplish if Georgia would cooperate.
Too bad the woman doesn't know the meaning of the word

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

PROLOGUE

GRIFTER

“Thanks, brother. I know this isn’t what you planned, but we need you.”

“You’re sure about this C?” I ask him for probably the hundredth time. “The men know you. You could step up and—” I ask, holding my phone tight.

“I’m good with my position in the club, brother. I don’t want to be the leader. Only one here wanted that position. That was Cowboy. We had a club vote, and he was voted down. You got the majority vote based on my recommendation and your history. The position is yours brother. It won’t be easy, but this club has potential. We could build something special here. I mean there’s a reason I moved across country to live here the last four years. Ace was just getting old and gave up fighting for our place. We all saw it. Unfortunately, so did the War Kings. They want our territory. They want what we’ve got here. The bones are here, but we’re going to need more, Grift. I’m not going to lie to you.”

“I’m going to bring Scorpion, especially since you said Cowboy refused the position when he lost the vote for President.”

“He’s a solid man. I think you will like him. He’s just younger and not ready to lead.”

“So, you’re saying I’m voted in because I’m fucking old?” I laugh dryly.

“Whatever. We both know you want to leave Colorado in the past.”

I take a deep breath and let it shudder through me. He’s not wrong. I need away from everything in Colorado. That’s the only reason I put my name in as a replacement for Ace when word spread that no one else wanted to take over. I don’t guess that’s unusual since Ace was killed trying to keep his territory. With a show of force, allies—of which my club was included—swarmed in and ran the War Kings back, but we all know they will try again. They need time to regroup, however. By the time that happens, I plan on taking over and making sure our club is fucking strong.

“You’re right. I actually am heading down that way in a week. I need some time to get packed up and make sure my realtor has what he needs to sell my house here.”

“Sounds good man. It’s been too long. It will be good to work with you again.”

I smile. C—which stands for his road name, Candyman—and I were members in the same club for a long time. He was my Enforcer, and I trusted him more than any other person in my life. He wanted to move to Tennessee, however, because his mother lived there and had been diagnosed with cancer. I understood, but I missed him. I’m not sure I’m going to like Tennessee, but C is right. I need to get the hell out of here and it will be good to be paired up with C once again. That’s two things that Tennessee has going for it. From there, I’ll just see where it goes.

“Has there been any movement with the War Kings?” I ask, still wondering exactly what I’m going to walk into. I mean, I don’t care. I’m used to living in hell. I survived it and thrived. I’ll do it again. I just like to be prepared.

“There’s some chatter, nothing concrete yet.”

“Okay, keep me updated. I’ll let you know what day I’ll be arriving. I’d like to meet with the club right away.”

“I’ll wait to hear from you. Safe travels, asshole.”

“Fuck you,” I laugh, clicking off my phone, then tossing it on my coffee table.

I’m a little nervous about moving to Tennessee. There’s a chance I could hate it. Still, something deep inside of me tells me that there’s something waiting for me there that I need. Maybe it’s just a new beginning, and if so, I’m okay with that. God knows I need a fresh start. Hopefully Tennessee will be better than Colorado has been.

I’m not sure it could get worse …

1 GRIFTER

The roar of my pipes echoes my arrival as I cross the city limit sign of Dreary As Hell, Tennessee. No shit, that’s what this place is called. I don’t know who originally named the town, but it’s hilarious. I also want to laugh when I see the small print beneath the town name proclaiming it’s the city limits. As far as I can tell, there is no city. It’s two paved lanes, a scattering of old buildings made of brick and stone and black streetlights that look like something out of a 1950’s movie. It’s quaint, but mostly deserted.

I slow down as traffic seems to pick up. There’s a diner to the right and there’s cars parked in spots that line both sides of the street. Apparently, that’s the major draw here. I make note because I do not cook. I take in the murals painted on the sides of some of the buildings and I have to admit I like the small town feel. After years of living in Denver, it’s calming. Hell, I haven’t even hit a traffic jam and in Denver right now, it’d be rush hour and bumper to bumper traffic. This is definitely a nice change of pace.
I’m with Dragon today at the Savage Brothers MC, Tennessee chapter. He and Nicole came down to visit with Crusher and Dani. Dragon asked if I could meet him out here and help move some shit with the rest of the club. Tennessee was bombarded with storms and the clubhouse had been flooded. Today they are going through everything and we’re packing up things so the Service Pro people can work their magic. Diesel—the president of this chapter—is discussing things with Dragon. They’re kicking around rebuilding the clubhouse and raising the new structure up slightly to prevent future flooding. The place apparently hadn’t been in danger before, but the weather has been crazy for the last couple of years.
“Thanks for your help, King,” Diesel says, as we walk over to the picnic table he’s sitting on top of. He hands me a beer off the cooler that is on the bench by his feet. I grab it, taking a long swig, enjoying it.

“No worries, I have some time on my hands,” I say with a shrug.

“Dragon mentioned confidentially that you might be looking for a new place to lay your head and a new club.”

I look back at the man who is my father by blood, a man I hated most of my life, and have lately called friend. Our relationship is odd, to say the least. He gives me a look with a shrug. “I know you’re not comfortable joining my club. Won’t keep me from trying to make sure you’re happy, son. Sue me.”

I shake my head, fighting a smile. If someone had told me that I would actually like this man a year ago, I’d have called them a liar, kicked them in the balls, and spit on them. Then again, a year ago, I thought I found a woman I could settle down with, a woman I could have kids with, and build the life I had never had—but always wanted. Turns out she wanted that too, but not with what she called a biker who would rather break the law than live a decent life. I push the thoughts away. I don’t need to sink into that headspace right now. It’s bad enough when I’m alone.

“I don’t need a club to make a position for me—no offense.”

“That’s good. I’m not making you one,” Diesel replies at once.

I look at Dragon and the bastard laughs. “I know you better than you think, son. I knew you wouldn’t want shit handed to you. They’re just asking you to join the club. They’ll patch you in on recommendation from Ford, by the way, not me.”

“You’re still an asshole,” I mutter, and son of a bitch, if men could cackle, he’d be guilty of it right now.

“All bullshit aside, we heard why you’re not happy at the Saints. I completely understand it. That’s not the kind of club we are. You won’t have to deal with that bullshit. We don’t use women for revenge. If it helps, I even spoke with Blade. He’s not listening. Losing his brother, and the way it happened, changed him.”

“You know about their plans?” I ask, not liking the thought of Dragon telling them something I told him in confidence.

“Probably before you did. I spoke to him before Dragon mentioned you were looking for a club. That’s also how I knew the reason you weren’t happy with the Saint’s Outlaws, if you’re wondering. No one told me shit.”

I nod, but Dragon shakes his head. I can tell he didn’t like that I thought he betrayed me. I shrug. I like the man and I’m slowly learning to trust him. Still, years of distrust are hard to overcome. “Sorry, old man.”

“You’ll learn,” he says, and I guess he’s right.

“I’d need to talk to Ford. He’s still on his honeymoon. He wants me to come back, but I’d rather have a clean start somewhere.”

“You can just tell me when. We’ve moved the headquarters to an old hotel about a mile from here. I’m not sure how long it will take us to get moved back in here but shouldn’t be long. Even if we rebuild to raise the structure up, we’re thinking of a whole new structure at this point. Our place needed some updating, anyway.”

“Sounds good. Ford comes back next week. I’ll talk things over with him and let you know.”

“That works. Now, how about we put your old man’s grill work to the test? I’m getting hungry.”

“Fuck you,” Dragon laughs. “I’m taking a break. Isn’t Crusher supposed to be back today? Let that bastard cook.”

“He is, but usually after he’s been gone a couple of days, he and Dani disappear for twenty-four hours, if not longer.”
Standalone Romance, but please note this short story was previously released in the mafia anthology Sin and Snowflakes as "A Contract Bride For Christmas".

Samuel Levkin needed a wife.

She was a bridge the powerful alliance he needs.

They were married sight unseen — a simple business transaction.

When they finally meet in person, everything gets very complicated

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

prologue

Natalia

“How can you expect this of me, father?” I ask, tears stinging my eyes. My father is an asshole. I’ve always known it. He’s as cold as the Russian winters he seems intent on dooming me to.

“It’s done. I don’t know why you’re getting so upset.”

“You don’t know why I’m upset? You just arranged my marriage to a man from the Levkin family that I haven’t even met. The Levkin family, Father. You know what Ivan did and my would-be husband was right there with him! Don’t you care for me at all?”

“Of course I do. Samuel has agreed to all my terms. You’ll be treated well. Nothing has changed, Natalia. You just need to sign the agreement and say I do over the video conference call.”

“Video conference call?” What the hell is he talking about now?

“Exactly. You don’t even have to meet him until you finish this foolish school degree that you insist on getting. The two of you will get married over the call. The appropriate paperwork will be signed electronically, and Samuel’s people will make sure everything is filed properly. Once you graduate or whatever, you will fly to Russia.”

I keep my face blank. He thinks me wanting a degree and my own life is ridiculous. To my father, I have one purpose. To broker an alliance and to produce heirs. “In one year, there will be no chance at a life of my own, Father. I’ll be married to a man I don’t know—a man that I don’t even want to know.”

“You will make a good life with him.”

“Are you even listening to me? I don’t want to be married to Samuel Levkin!”

“When did you mistakenly come to the conclusion that you had a choice?”

“Father—”

“Enough Natalia. You are a member of the Navarro family. Your life is not your own. You are doing this for the family. If you keep pushing, I’ll take away any record of your foolish schooling. Then move on to more substantial things. We both know I can do it. Now, I expect you back in my office in one hour. You’re dismissed.”

I stare at the monster I once called my father, then I walk away to prepare for my wedding.

prologue continued

Samuel

I walk out of the gym, invigorated after a rough workout. I’d gone extra this morning, needing to work out the frustration of being here. While I’m not fond of living in Russia, it’s necessary. After everything I’ve done, I deserve it. Hell, I kidnapped Angelina, trying to recapture feelings from our youth. I was tired of being alone. Sometimes I’m scared by the emptiness inside me. I believed Angelina would agree to be my bride. I do love her. I always have. Yet, when I saw her with Victorio, I knew our time had passed. She belongs with him. She was never meant to be mine. He has her heart.

Today my life resets. It starts with a marriage to a woman I’ve never met. It’s not the life I wanted, but my new alliance with the Navarro family will bring me more power. With the Navarro family backing me, our enemies will think twice before trying to revive the old war.

When my uncle killed my father, worms began crawling out of the woodwork, smelling weakness. It’s the nature of the game. Old enemies perceived an opportunity to take over the Levkin empire. My marriage with … fuck, what was her name? Nora? Nancy? Whatever her name is, in one year, she will come here. I gave myself a year of freedom before I have to play the dutiful husband. Apparently, my bride-to-be also needed time to finish some type of education. We’ve agreed to getting married over a video conference. Her father says she views this as a business deal. That’s good, but I hope we get along. It would make things easier. Our contract has laid everything out, right down to the fact that all affairs must be discreet and approved by one another. This is not what I wanted in a marriage. It is, however, what I will have. I will just have to make the most of it.

1

samuel

Phoenix, Arizona

Six Months Later

“Fuck, Ivan. You’ve been hit,” I hiss as I crouch down to look at my uncle’s side. I yank my pullover off, pushing it against the wound. Instantly, deep red color seeps in, devouring the stark white of the material.

“Tell me you ended that motherfucker,” Ivan snarls.

“I got him. The Titans are on clean-up. We need to get you to the hospital.”

“Damn, asshole, you just can’t make anything simple, can you?” E-Z taunts, walking in. He’s the president of the Titans motorcycle club here in Phoenix. He’s built wide and solid as a brick, he’s a laid-back guy with longer hair, and covered in ink. He’s almost too pretty for the fucked-up shit we pay him and his club to do.
My grandmother used to beat me while screaming that I was cursed.
I never truly believed it, but now? I definitely do.
My life has been a series of gut punches.
First, my sperm donor did the same before I was even born.
Dear old Mom followed not long after my first breath.
My grandmother, Hester, hated me and never let me forget it.
Still, I was determined to make life better.
As soon as I graduated high school, I moved Virginia.
For a while, I thought things were finally looking up.
I met Vector, a man who made me believe I was special.
That was until he ghosted me.
He completely disappeared from my life. Telling me without words that I wasn't even worth a goodbye.
Just like my parents.
After that, I began a downward spiral, fully accepting all the hateful things my grandmother used to scream. I fell into a marriage with a cold-hearted bastard.
I did manage to escape and pick myself back up. I began a new life in North Carolina—just me and my son.
Now, there is no dreaming of happily-ever-after. I know they don't exist—
No matter how much a long-haired, sexy biker named Ford tries to make me believe in them.

This book is written in tandem with M. Merin's book Redemption. While each book can be read as a complete standalone, her story with Vector and Sloane takes place during the same timeline and scenes

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

PROLOGUE

GRACE

“You stupid bitch!” Benny growls as I fall down from his punch.

My cheek throbs, but I fight the urge to touch it. Instead, I spend all my effort trying to protect my stomach. I’m eight weeks pregnant. Benny doesn’t know and I’ll never tell him. I see his leg coming at me. I quickly turn. It still catches me in the ribs. At least he didn’t reach my belly. Benny loves to hit where he can inflict the most pain. I cry out when his Italian loafers that cost more than my entire wardrobe connect in the same spot. It feels like he cracked one of my ribs.

“Please,” I beg. He grabs me by my hair before I can continue to plead. He yanks hard, controlling me. I claw at his hand, but it doesn’t help. Benny slaps me hard across my face. The force of the hit causes my head to jerk back as I careen into the wall. For a second, my vision dims.

“I told you to be nice to Korslova, you stupid bitch!”

“I-I-I couldn’t,” I cry. My face is swelling already, or maybe his punch caused damage because I can barely see out of my left eye. My tears, which are continually falling, don’t help. I hate that I’m crying. I can’t help it, though. I’m terrified. “He wanted me to-to—” I can’t finish the sentence. Remembering what he tried to do to me makes me want to hurl.

Despite the terror of my current situation, I think back to just a few moments ago. I walked into Benny’s office, bringing him and Mr. Korslova drinks like requested. History had taught me to placate him as much as I could. If I failed, my punishment would be painful. I know I’m weak. I should’ve left Benny the first time he slapped me. The thing is, once you’re involved with the Korslova family—even a minor player like Benny—you’re stuck.

If I’d been smart, I’d have never married him. In fairness, in the beginning, the bastard gave me visions of a better life, with a picket fence and happy children running around my feet. It was a dream that I’ve always quietly held inside my heart. Benny used that to his advantage. He swore I’d never want for anything. I was gullible as hell.

I continue thinking of what got me here, pinned against the wall, Benny’s hand chokingly tight on my neck. His cold blue eyes that I once thought were beautiful, stare at me with a twisted pleasure, making bile rise into my throat.

Once I took their drinks into his office, I immediately knew from the way his friend was leering at me I was in trouble. Benny introduced the guy as Kerr Korslova. The smile the man gave me terrified me. Benny’s sadistic laugh as he plopped down in a chair made me feel worse. When Benny is relaxed, nothing good comes from it.

Korslova walked to me. I kept my fake smile on my face, thinking he was going to take the drinks from my hands. He did, putting them on Benny’s desk. I turned to leave, my heart running wild. Korslova grabbed me, pushed me up against the wall, ripping the straps of my pale-yellow sundress. I cried in horror as the fabric fell down, revealing my bra. I immediately tried to cover myself, but the man ignored me. He flicked the clasp on my bra, baring my breasts.

“Benny! Help!” I cried, begging.

My so-called husband laughed. “Help? I’m going to enjoy the view. You be a good little slut now and pleasure him the way I’ve taught you. If you’re really good, I’ll even join in for round two,” he laughs.

“Stop,” I implore. “This is rape.”

“C’mon. We know you want this,” Korslova taunts, as he pushes my hands out of the way, capturing one of my nipples in his mouth.

He sucks it into his mouth, while I do my best to twist and turn to get away from him. Out of the corner of my eye, I see Benny rubbing his hand against the erection pushing against his pants. I hate him. I wish I had the strength to kill him.

Korslova begins sucking harder on my nipple, his hand moving over my body. Rage and disgust fill me. I can’t let them rape me. I won’t survive it—I know I won’t. “Stop!” I scream at the top of my lungs. In retaliation, he bites into my nipple. White-hot pain moves through me. In desperation, I take my hand, angling my fingers to dig my nails into the side of his face. I’m too panicked to enjoy the fact that I’m drawing blood—although I feel it against my fingertips.

“You fucking cunt!” Korslova screams, his hand going to the side of his jaw. He slams my head backward into the wall so hard that I see stars. I whimper as the pain takes over. I try to shake off the dizziness that overwhelms me, but my legs give out and I crash to the floor.
Breaker wanted everything his parents had.
He wanted the chance to prove he could be the man his stepfather always was to him.
He had given up hope of ever claiming that for his own.

Then he lost everything.
Can one woman and her daughter give it all back?

Full synopsis to be revealed.

Standalone Novel.

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Prologue

Indy

I came to the Maggie Valley area to start over with my daughter, Tinsley, to start over. We needed a fresh start, and that meant not being in the same state as my douchebag ex. I wanted my daughter to have the best I could give her. I also wanted to settle somewhere that moved at a much slower pace than Fort Wayne. When my grandmother was alive, my parents would take me to Kentucky to visit her. She lived almost in North Carolina. When I discovered Maggie Valley, I instantly fell in love, so I decided to relocate here.

It seemed perfect, and it was … until the Feral Kings MC took over the old amusement-turned zipline-park, Ghost Town in the Sky. In the blink of an eye, my peaceful refuge was being destroyed. There also wasn’t much I could do about it. I kept my head down and only ventured into town when I had to. I ran my business as best as I could, while trying to save money to move the hell out of dodge. It may seem like a lame plan, but it’s all I could do.

Sadly, today is one of those days that I had to venture into Bryson City. It was actually for a wonderful reason. I served as a witness for Phillip and Max’s wedding. I was so happy for them, even if I didn’t understand their choice of venues. I mean, we’re steps away from the Smoky Mountains, yet those two bozos decide to get married at the local courthouse. Still, for what it was, it was a beautiful wedding, and my two friends are extremely happy.

Now, I’m heading back home. I’m also running late. I still need to check on my animals and get some things done in my office before Tinny gets off the school bus. I took a back road, hoping not to see anyone. It’s also shadier than most areas, which is nice because it’s miserable outside today. The heat is suffocating, and it’s so humid that my blonde hair is trying to poof up—which sucks because it took me an hour to straighten out my curls. I love my hair and hate it at the same time. Some days I want to shave it off and let it start over to see if it grows back being more manageable. It doesn’t help matters that my air conditioner isn’t working. I have the windows down, but that seems to let more heat in than actually help. If I can ever get my head above water and pay off my student loans, I’d move out of this place. That’s not happening anytime soon. No one wants to move to a town that lives in fear.

As if taking their cue from my thoughts, I hear the racking of pipes and the loud roar of motorcycles. I look in the review mirror and see a couple of members from the Feral MC coming up fast behind me. I try not to panic. Most days, I’m normally in my truck. I keep a shotgun in it. Today, I have nothing. Which leaves me defenseless and vulnerable. To make matters worse, this road doesn’t get a lot of traffic at all. It’s why I chose it, thinking it would be safer.

My heart runs away with me as they get right behind me, then move alongside my car. I try to keep my gaze on the road, but they stay right beside me for so long, I can’t help but look. One of them grins, giving a cocky wave as he goes ahead of me. However, he’s staying at a slow speed. I know this is to keep me from going faster and getting away. When my gaze turns to the other guy. He uses his left hand to hold his thumb up and his index finger out—making the shape of a gun. He aims right between my eyes and makes a shooting motion, before flicking his wrist up and pointing up, blowing on his finger.

The message is clear, and it terrifies me. I slow down even more, and with a laugh that I can’t hear over the bike, he takes off, the other guy joining him. My heart is slamming against my chest as I decide to pull over. I shut my car off, lock the door and crouch down out of view. I want to give those assholes time to get out of the area. I don’t want to be anywhere near them. I’m going to have to get a handgun and keep it in my glove box. I hate to. I don’t like keeping guns around Tinny. Today could have been a disaster, though. I need to keep myself safe for my daughter. Thanks to her so-called father’s dumb life choices, I’m all she has.
With one taste of her lips,
He was a marked man.

Joker knows he’s different from the other men in his club.
He rarely smiles. He’s quiet and most could call him cold and calculated.
He prides himself on the fact that he lets nothing get to him.
Besides, as a member of the Savage Brothers MC, you have to stay focused.
That’s his strong point—or it was.
Skylar Kane is the one person who can send him for a loop.
Joker has no business wanting the curvy blonde. She’s destined for big things.
There’s no way she should hitch her wagon to man like him.
After one forbidden taste of her he ran away fast.
He didn’t look back—or at least he tried not to.

When the club goes to war, he’s charged with guarding Skylar.
Being anywhere near her is a danger to his sanity--not to mention the chokehold he tries to keep on his self control when around Skylar.
Still, he accepts the job, because she has always been his to protect.
The only problem is, who is going to protect her from him?

*Standalone Romance

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter 1

Joker

Three Years Ago

Damn, I’m tired. Ever since I signed on as a prospect for the Savage Brothers, I’ve been doing grunt work constantly. Today I helped the other prospects build a stage and a pergola for outside of the compound. Dragon’s woman and some of the other old ladies, wanted a set up for concerts and get-togethers at the club. I may have only been here a month, but I’m learning quick that Dragon might be a scary motherfucker, but he’ll give his old lady, Nicole, anything and everything she wants.

In a way, I’m a little envious of that. It’s the kind of relationship I’ve always wanted—yet never thought existed. Now that I know it does, I don’t want to settle for less. Maybe it’s overreaching and I don’t deserve it. It’s not like I had it growing up. I’ve spent most of my time in a juvenile detention center. When I got too old for that, I lived on the streets until I could get enough cash together for a shit-hole apartment. The man I am now, is self-made. I didn’t have anyone to lean on. My mother was a bitch, and I never met my father. I don’t even know his name, so I figure I never will. It doesn’t really bother me. I’m fine being self-sufficient.

Until I found my way into the Savage Brothers, I didn’t think I’d ever depend on anyone. Now, I look around and see the brotherhood this club shares and the relationships like Dragon and Nicole, Dancer and Carrie, and Bull and Doc and I know that’s what I want. That’s why even though my back is killing me, I’m happy being here. Until I found the club and this town, I don’t think I’ve ever known the feeling of contentment.

I take a drag of my cigarette and lean against the wooden siding of the Wolf’s Den. The club owns this bar, and it’s the main place we all meet up—outside our clubhouse. My brothers are all inside, unwinding after a hard day. I was too, but I just needed a break. I may be happy in the club, but I want more. I want more than I’m probably entitled to. Still, when I watched our Prez, Dragon, pull Nicole onto his lap tonight. I knew that it was exactly what I wanted.

“Kyla, stop,” a boy yells out.

I turn my gaze toward the corner. The voice is coming from the back of the building. It irritates me because the silence I had sought is interrupted.

“I told you to stop calling me that,” a chick hisses back at him. I turn the corner enough to get a better look at the arguing duo.

Suddenly, they have my full attention. He’s talking to a sexy woman in worn blue jeans, cowboy boots, and an indigo V-neck T-shirt that hugs the prettiest tits I’ve laid eyes on. I flex my hands into a fist, because they’re itching to rip her clothes from her body to see those pretties up close and personal—with nothing in the way.

“Don’t be like that. She didn’t mean shit to me.”

“Is it supposed to make me feel better to know that you threw me away for a bitch who didn’t mean anything? I hope your dick falls off after sticking it into that skank,” she growls, and my lips jerk up in a grin.

“I wouldn’t have given her the time of day if you’d opened your damn legs for me. Fuck, Kyla, we’ve been dating for six months. You’ve barely let me feel your damned tits. What did you think I was going to do? A man can only use his hand for so long. You can’t go acting like a bitch over it now.”

“A real man knows when a woman is worth the wait. You’re a boy playing at being a man. You make me sick. Get the fuck out of here and leave me alone. I’m waiting for Mattie, and I think we both know you don’t want to be here when he shows up.”

“Don’t you ever get tired of hiding behind that idiot?” the guy growls.

“Not if it keeps me away from assholes like you. Maybe I should let him know that you just called him an idiot,” she laughs.

I didn’t realize that I was walking closer to them until I’m pitching my cigarette across the parking lot. I can’t explain why, either. It’s almost as if an invisible force is propelling me in that direction. I don’t question it, though. I’m even glad to be doing it when I see the son of a bitch—who is a good six inches taller than her small frame—push her. She stumbles and falls back, her ass hitting the graveled area beneath her. He stands over her, his face red.

“You bitch!”

I move in, grab the son of a bitch by the back of his neck, and toss him away from her. He sails in the air behind me as I turn to look at the gorgeous, curvy, red head. She’s even better up close. Her skin is a little darker than most women with red hair that I’ve been around, but still pale. It’s more golden though. For some reason, those shaved ice drinks of peaches and cream come to mind. They used to serve them to us in the detention center after we’d worked out in the heat all day. I thought they tasted like heaven. I bet this woman would taste even better. Just looking at her skin begs a man to put his lips on her and kiss every inch.
I’m a shifter. We have our own rules, customs.

At least we’re supposed to.

When my father went against tradition and arranged a mating for me—one he said would better the pack, I did the only thing I could. I ran.

I want to choose who I love, who I mate.

But my fleeing has me stranded in Unforgiven … face to face with my fated mate. A wolf who refuses to let me go.

And I don’t want him to.

I don’t want to deny either of us what comes naturally … being together in every conceivable way.

But what happens when my father and betrothed mate find me? Will it start an all-out war? Or can they see I’m finally happy, finally where I’m supposed to be?

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

PROLOGUE

COLT

He is the Alpha.

He’s found his mate.

I should obey his every word.

But I won’t.

I can’t.

Wyatt has every fucking thing in the world, and here I am with nothing but shit in my hand.

I lean against the railing on the deck, staring at the acres of woods behind my cabin. I’m holding onto my coffee mug a little too tightly and I have to force myself to loosen my grip, for fear of shattering the ceramic.

I am tense, every bone in my body threatening to break, my wolf wanting to shift.

Staying in my animal form sounds like a good retreat, a safe haven from my torrential emotions.

I’m pissed. Really fucking angry if I am being honest. The shit with Wyatt only intensifies those emotions, bringing out the worst in me.

But our past isn’t an easy one.

I push away from the railing and head back inside. My gaze instantly lands on the framed photo I have sitting on the mantle. I don’t know why I keep the damn thing out, maybe a memory of everything I’ve lost.

I find myself walking up to that picture, taking hold of it and looking down at the four people smiling back at me.

It’s an image of Wyatt and me when we were children, our fathers standing on either side of us, their hands on our shoulders. We’re all smiling, brothers by bond, family by choice. Our fathers were best friends, his father the Alpha of the pack, mine next in line. We were training to take over, deciding to rule the pack together, as a team.

It was always the plan.

But everything changes with time, I suppose.

And right before Wyatt’s father passed, he elevated Wyatt to Alpha, totally disregarding my father’s rightful place in line. Then he passed away, and Wyatt became Alpha. There was a pull of power between him and my dad. It was one I never anticipated, but one that happened nonetheless.

It put a strain between us, this wedge that stripped friends apart, almost making us enemies. And then, when my father passed things got worse. There was no talk of us rolling together, the bitterness that had festered in both of us too much to smooth over, too deep to even repair.

And that is why I am thinking of leaving Unforgiven, just packing up my shit and starting over somewhere else. I am a lone wolf by nature anyway, so maybe this is what fate has always had in store for me.

1

JASINDA

The thought of starting over scares the shit out of me, but with where I’m at in my life, it is exactly what needs to be done.

The few boxes I have in the trunk of my car, the two suitcases in my backseat, and a wallet filled with not nearly enough money, is all I have.

So, on a whim, I closed my eyes and pointed to a map.

It brought me to Unforgiven Country, a mountain town. I’d researched and found out it is mainly shifters living in the middle of nowhere.

Good. That’s exactly what I need.

Being out in the middle of nowhere is exactly what a wolf shifting runaway desires.

My cell vibrates and I know who it is without even looking at it.

My father.

The Alpha of our pack.

The person who promised me to another member of our pack, the next Alpha in line.

And although any female would have loved to be mated to Stark, a male with power and strength, good looks and status, he is not for me. He is not my mate.

And that’s why I fled. That’s why I am running away from my family, from my pack.

2

COLT

I’m too keyed up. Too much anger, too much frustration and, if I’m honest, too much damn loneliness boiling inside of me. I strip out of my clothes as I make my way to my back door, letting the change, the shift, overtake me. Tonight of all nights my wolf needs to run free. I need the calming effect of the moon, to feel the wind ruffle my fur and center myself with nature. I barely throw my shirt over my shoulder to join the rest of my clothes when my paws hit the hard ground and I take off running.
