My life was once perfect. We didn’t have much in the way of material things, but I had my family, health and a happy existence. That is, until the day the Enforcers came and raided our serene home, throwing us into cages and separating us from our loved ones. Our crime? We dared to live the way we chose instead of complying with a system that kept us oppressed. I was assigned as a companion to one of the higher ups and subjected to unspeakable acts. It took everything in me not to completely lose my mind.

Just as I was losing my last bit of hope I was rescued and reunited with my family. After the horrors, I’d suffered, I should have known this moment of peace wouldn’t last because my worst nightmare came true when a new system deemed me to be a breeder. But not just to anyone. I was matched with the one called The Beast. The most brutal section leader on the planet. And though he’s big, brutish and frightening. The scariest part is my body’s reaction to him

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter

One

JAMIE

Ithink I’m going to be sick.

Not the kind of sick where it starts with a little itch in the back of your throat. And then escalates to a cough, runny nose, achy body, fever and chills. Nope. This is the kind of sick that comes on suddenly and makes you so nauseous you want to throw up the entire contents of your stomach.

It’s the kind of sick that makes you hyperventilate and causes your chest to burn to the point you can’t breathe and you think you’re going to die.

I wrap my arms around my body in a full hug to hold myself as I grow unsteady on my feet. My ears refuse to register the words of comfort and sympathy issued by my parents and sister. I’m sure they’re trying their best to find something to say to calm me down, but they’re too late. Panic has already set in.

I take several steps away from them as they reach out to me. I shake my head vehemently.

“No! Don’t touch me!”

I think if I allow myself to be embraced, I’ll really fall apart, especially when I’ve fought so hard these last few months to hold my sanity intact.

After all I’ve been through, I find myself close to cracking again. There’s only been two times in my life when I’ve felt this helpless. The first time was when the Enforcers raided the commune my family and I had lived on peacefully. No place is perfect, but we had been happy, away from the unjust laws of the superious.

Us homo sapiens made our own rules, some good and some bad, but at least we didn’t live in conditions that basically made us slaves to a system with no real way out.

Oh, the powers that be, believe we’re treated just fine because they pay us wages for the jobs we’re assigned, but said compensation is barely enough for most of us to scrape by.

My parents had taken the risk of fleeing to an off grid commune with me and my sister in hopes for a better life. And for the most part it was. I had been young when we’d fled so I barely remember what life had been like before then. But I’d been told how bad things were from the older residents and my parents. My sister Noah, who is only a couple years older than me, recalled bits and pieces and what she’d told me wasn’t great.

So when the Enforcers came to break up the idyllic life we had and threw us in cages like animals, the sick was strong. When my sister was taken away, I’d given into it and vomited all over the cramped prison I’d been kept in. The worst part was sitting in it before the smell got so bad the Enforcers had hosed the cage down. Despite that, the scent had still lingered.

And now, for the second time, that feeling has returned. Yet this time, it’s much worse because there’s no chance of rescue. I’d sensed, something was wrong the second my family asked to speak with me privately.

My mom’s eyes were red and her nose swollen as if she had been rubbing it excessively. My father had that stoic tight-lipped look he adapts when he’s worried about something. As for my sister, she couldn’t quite meet my eyes.

So now for the second time, I have this sick feeling.

As the silence grips the room in a vice, I take several calming breaths to ease the tension in my body.

No one in the room seems to know what to say so I finally manage to croak out the first words that come to mind. “How long?”

There’s no immediate response so I raise my head and direct my tear-filled gaze toward my sister. For some reason, seeing Noah holding her rounded belly protectively, causes the panic within me to rise.

I clutch my chest and fall to my knees. “How long!” I demand again when the room remains silent.

Noah walks over to me and places her hand on my shoulder. “Maybe we should talk about this when you’ve calmed down.”

I smack her hand away. “For fucks sake, would you answer the damn question? How long do I have before I have to go with that monster?” As the words spill from my lips, so do the tears. They run down my cheeks unheeded and I can’t stop.

“He’ll be here in five days,” Noah finally answers.

That gives me practically no time to get used to my new situation. In the last few months, my life has been nothing but one upheaval after another. Being assigned as a companion had been bad enough. Actually, way worse than I could have possibly imagined.

I’d been forced to do things that makes me so ashamed, I dare not tell anyone about it. I don’t think my family would understand. I thought no assignment could be worse than companion. But I was wrong. I’ve now been assigned the worst possible position there could be.
London will do anything to avoid an arranged marriage to an arrogant General. She dreams of a man who’ll nurture and love her without trying to force his will on her. When she overhears a conversation about her twin who was left behind when London and her mother were abducted by intergalactic traffickers, an idea forms. Not only will she flee from her unwanted engagement, but she’ll also search for sister. When London arrives on Earth, instead of finding her sister, she encounters a man who makes her heart race.

Astrophysicist Matt Taylor can’t believe a beautiful woman has crash landed in his back yard! She’s in quite a predicament and he’s more than willing to help her find her lost sister, no matter how dangerous the quest. Trouble is, he’s falling for the gorgeous London. But can this beautiful woman ever find it in her heart to return his love?

These two star-crossed lovers set off on a journey to find London’s sister. But in the process, they’ll soon discover so much more

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter

One

London sat rigidly as her father, Emperor Blaze, stood to make the formal announcement she’d been dreading all night. How could he do this to her and why was her mother allowing it to happen? She shot a resentful glare toward the object of her despair.

General Zahn.

With back erect and head held high, his face remained expressionless. His dark green eyes, which could almost be mistaken for black at times, were hard as though he were contemplating a strategy of war instead of attending his own betrothal dinner. Admittedly, London did find Zahn extremely attractive, with his long black hair, inherited from his Zenobian ancestors, square jaw and strong features. But like so many men on Thibius, Zahn was just too overpowering.

London didn’t want the fate of her mother. Granted, her parents loved each other very much, often sneaking off to be alone and always touching, but there was no doubt in her mind that her father was in charge in all matters. That was the way of things in their world, and General Zahn would try to rule her with an iron fist as well. Besides, he didn’t make her pulse race or heart beat faster. The one chaste kiss they’d shared didn’t stir any fire in her loins like her mother had promised it would.

No. She couldn’t let this sham betrothal take place.

Emperor Blaze gestured for her to stand then did the same to Zahn. London stubbornly remained seated. This couldn’t be happening. Leaning over, Queen Calliope whispered in her ear, “Stand. Don’t embarrass your father in front of our guests.”

“You know I don’t want this,” London hissed back.

“We’ll discuss it later. For now you will do as you’re told,” her mother shot back.

Very rarely did her mother scold her, but the tone let London know there’d be no arguing. With a sigh, she reluctantly stood up and walked over to her father. Zahn flanked the king’s other side. London wished the ground would swallow her up, so she wouldn’t have to go through this.

Her father stepped up to the podium, a huge smile on his face. “I’m pleased to announce the betrothal of my beloved daughter, Princess London, to Thibius’s greatest champion, General Zahn.” The room erupted in applause much to London’s dismay.

Tears stung the backs of her eyes. Now that the announcement had been made, how could she graciously back out? She couldn’t. The Emperor turned to her. “Would you like to say a few words, sweetling?”

“Papa, I can’t,” she whispered.

The Emperor frowned. “Go ahead, it’s expected.”

“Let Zahn speak first, I—I can’t think of anything to say right now.”

“Very well, London.” Turning to Zahn, her father nodded his blond head. “Zahn, would you like to say a few words on this joyous occasion?”

Zahn nodded and stepped forward. “Fellow Thibians, it is my great honor to have the hand of the beautiful Princess London. I pledge my allegiance to her, and vow to protect and cherish her, on my honor.”

London clinched her lips to keep herself from gagging. Though Zahn’s words were flowery enough something was missing. Not that she wanted it from him, but the reverence wasn’t there. He spoke as though he were rehearsing a speech. When Zahn had glanced in her direction, it wasn’t the same look of adoration that her father gave to her mother.

If she went through with this farce of a marriage, it would be a loveless union.

Nodding his head to her, the Emperor gestured for her to speak. Stepping forward on tentative feet, London first looked at her big, strong papa, who smiled down at her encouragingly. His green eyes twinkled with love she returned tenfold. Then she glanced at her mother and brothers. They all gazed at her with anticipation in their eyes. The crowd of dignitaries watched London expectantly and for the life of her, the words just would not come out.

“Speak, daughter,” the Emperor whispered in her ear.

“Ladies and Gen-gentlemen, I am pl-pleased—” Taking a deep breath, London tried to continue. “I—I’m pleased t-to —” Again she stopped. Why was it so difficult to say a few stupid words? She stole a glance at Zahn whose mouth was now a tight line. Could she give in and spend the rest of her life with him? “I’m sorry, but I can’t do this.” Racing past Zahn and her father, and ignoring the surprised gasps of the audience, she fled from the hall not stopping until she reached her room.

London flung herself onto her big fluffy bed and burst into tears. She’d shamed her parents, but how could she stand in front of everyone and lie about how happy she was to be betrothed to Zahn? He’d make her miserable. She didn’t love him and she was certain the feeling was mutual. He was only marrying her out of a sense of duty.
Humiliated when his intended flees their betrothal dinner, General Zahn promises his king he will find Princess London and bring her home — but not before she’s been properly punished. Despite their union being a political arrangement, Zahn is surprised by the instant lust London inspires when he finally recaptures her. Maybe their marriage won’t be so dull after all!

After losing her mother and sister at a young age Paris Randall learned how to take care of herself. Several disappointing relationships later, she’s given up on relationships and love. But when a tall dark hunk whisks her away, on his spaceship she changes her attitude. The attraction is instant, but the only problem — he keeps calling her London!

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Prologue

London sat rigidly as she watched her father, Emperor Blaze, stand to make the formal announcement she’d been dreading all night. How could he do this to her? Why was her mother allowing it to happen? She shot a resentful look toward the object of her despair.

General Zahn.

With back erect and head held high, he wore an unreadable expression on his stern face. His dark green eyes, which could almost be mistaken for black at times, were hard as though he were contemplating a strategy of war instead of attending his own betrothal dinner.

Admittedly, London found Zahn extremely attractive, with his wavy, long black hair inherited from his Zenobian ancestors, square jaw, long proud nose, and full lips.

Truth was, many Thibian women were enamored with the decorated general. Several noble houses had offered up their daughters as potential brides for him, however, he’d set his sights on a much bigger prize: the Emperor’s only daughter.

Her.

But like so many men on Thibius, Zahn was just too overpowering for her taste. Despite acknowledging his good looks, her heart simply refused to engage with him. The times they were able to converse, he was cold and reserved, speaking very little and not allowing her to really get to know him.

He treated her as if she was an asset to be gained and not a potential partner whom he’d treat as an equal. He didn’t bother to try to learn anything about her. Once he’d even scolded her when she’d laughed a little too loud at something one of her ladies in waiting had said. He’d told her it was behavior unbecoming of a princess.

And now she was about to become engaged to him. Tied to this humorless man male for the rest of her life and popping out baby after baby so that he’d have heirs who’d probably be just as obnoxious as him.

London didn’t want the fate of her mother. Granted, her parents’ love for each other was obvious for anyone to see. They often sneaked off to be alone and were always touching, but there was no doubt in London’s mind that her father was in charge in all matters.

While her father was indulgent to his wife’s whims, he always had the final say. He was also jealous if her mother so much as looked at another man. London wondered if it was because he viewed the queen as his property. Her mother didn’t seem to mind but there was something about it that London simply didn’t understand.

That was the way of things in their world, and London was certain General Zahn would try to rule her with an iron fist as well. Maybe she could learn to live with a strict husbands it weren’t for her lack of feelings towards him. He simply didn’t make her pulse race or heart beat faster. The one chaste kiss they’d shared hadn’t stirred any fire within her core like her mother had promised it would.

No. She couldn’t let this sham betrothal take place. And she knew exactly what she needed to do.

After the banquet was long over, she’d slip past her guards, sneak into the docking station and take one of her father’s ships. She only knew how to man one of the smaller aircrafts but with all the automation on the larger ships, she was certain she could figure it out.

But if she ran away, she’d need to get far away from Thibus. Even out of this solar system.

There was another galaxy that hosted a planet of humanoids who looked just like her. Her home planet. A place she had vague memories of.

Earth.

Chapter

One

“Girl, your legs must be tired, because you’ve been running through my mind all day.” The corny remark was followed by a lewd whistle as the would-be Casanova eyed Paris as if she were a piece of prime cut meat.

She rolled her eyes heavenward, biting back the retort on the tip of her tongue.

Why had she let her co-workers talk her into coming to happy hour with them? She should have hit the gym, then taken a long hot bath and afterwards, curled up with a good mystery novel.

It certainly would have been much better than sitting in a smoky bar with drunken colleagues she normally didn’t hang out with outside of the office. And getting hit on by guys who got their pickup lines from their dads wasn’t exactly her cup of tea either. Hell, she didn’t even drink. What was she doing here?

“Hey, baby, are you deaf? I’m talking to you.”

Paris took a sip of her cola and did her best to ignore the pest standing next to her.

When her unwanted suitor grasped her shoulder, she finally acknowledged his presence. “You’re touching me, which I didn’t give you permission do. I’ve given you no indication that your advances are welcome. So you can either leave me alone or you’ll be pulling back a bloody stump. The choice is yours, buddy.”
But what will she think about the secret he harbors?
When Ethan and Amina’s pasts come back to haunt them, they’ll soon head down a path of passion, revenge and a chance to change their fates.

T..W. Contains depiction of domestic violence

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

Chapter

One

Amina’s hands shook as she pulled the keys out of her purse and unlocked the front door. If she wasn’t so shaken up, from having a gun pointed in her face, she’d be angry at her husband for not answering his phone.

She was a fool to believe he’d follow through with his promise to pick her up after her shift considering she’d been scheduled to work past midnight. These extra shifts at her second job, after all, were a result of her needing to pay off the debt he’d raked up on their credit cards.

It had been a year since he’d totaled his car under a mysterious circumstance, he’d never shared with her. And since then, he took her car whenever he pleased, forcing her to rely on public transportation to get back and forth from work. It was easier to catch the bus and train to get to her day time job, but it was trickier with the second one she’d recently taken.

Working at a gas station at night in a sketchy part of town wasn’t an ideal situation for anyone but they paid a decent wage and she’d been hired on the spot. She was desperate enough to take it, thinking it would only be a temporary thing. Now here she was nearly a year later and this place had been robbed twice. The first time, she had been in the back taking inventory of the stock, while the cashier was held up in front.

This time she had been at the cash register and there was no Plexiglas window for protection because it had been damaged in a prior incident and the owner had not gotten around to replacing it.

The worst part wasn’t having her life threatened while she stared down the barrel of a pistol, but calling her husband after the police statements were given, to come pick her up only to be sent directly to voicemail. She left three messages and texted.

He left her on read.

So he knew the gas station had been robbed, yet he ignored it.

The last bus and train had already run for the night and she was forced to call an Uber, and pay with money she barely had.

Her chest burned with rage to see her car in the driveway along with another car she didn’t recognize. The blasting of loud hip hop music reached her before she opened the door.

Was he having a party this late? On a weeknight? And then another thought crossed her mind. There was only one other car. Could it belong to another woman?

She’s suspected there could be someone else judging by the way Mark guarded his phone like it was the gold in Fort Knox. And how he always had errands to run, yet he’d come home with nothing to show from them. There were also the many times he’d start an argument just so he could walk out the house and be gone for hours and sometimes days at a time.

And each time she voiced her suspicious, she was either gaslit into thinking she was the crazy one or smacked in the face. The last time resulted in a black eye that her concealer could barely cover.

She wore an eye patch to work to hide it and claimed she had scratched her cornea.

For the first time in a very long time, an anger she hadn’t allowed herself to feel out of fear for her safety, encapsulated her. She’d given her everything to make this marriage work, only to be lied to, emotionally, financially and physically abused.

She stormed into the house and was met with the pungent scent of weed. Clothes were strewn along the floor. She caught sight of a lacy pink bra that didn’t belong to her, on top of the coffee table in the living room.

Hot blood coursed through her body and a vein throbbed in her forehead as she hurried up the steps, taking two at a time. The door to the bedroom she shared with Mark was wide open, saving her from kicking it in.

Amina already had an idea of what she’d find inside that room, but the literal breath was stolen from her lungs at the sight that greeted her. Lying in bed, nonchalantly smoking a joint was her husband Mark, buck naked with her cousin Candace, lying next to him in an equal state of undress.

Their glazed eyes were fixed on the television mounted on the wall that played a music video of a rap artist she didn’t recognize. The room was laced with the scent of marijuana, ass and rotten fish. Nausea roiled her stomach and she fought the keep the bile from traveling up her throat.

With her hand over her mouth, she walked further into the room, carried by despair and rage. It was only when she stood at the foot of the bed did they realize she was even there.
After a devastating car accident, Callie finds herself in a place she least expects, on a slaver’s auction block — in an alien galaxy! Callie rails against her abductors, but in the end she must accept her situation to protect her daughter. Sold into the harem of a wealthy emperor, she must entertain her new owner… but she doesn’t have to fall in love with him.

Emperor Blaze has grown bored with the women in his harem. He wants something new, something different. He wants… Callie. Adored by women, all his life, he’s surprised to find she doesn’t return his infatuation. In fact she doesn’t understand at all what an honor it is to be chosen for his harem. Callie makes it clear she doesn’t want anything to do with him.

His pride will not allow him to beg for the favors of a mere concubine, and he’s never taken a woman against her will. Still, the more she resists, the more determined Blaze is to win her. Can he find a way to bridge the chasm that separates them?

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

CHAPTER 1

“Great this is just what I need,” Callie Randall mumbled to herself as the heavens opened up to release a torrential downpour.

Driving in the rain was her least favorite thing in the world, but this trip was unavoidable.

She’d risk a hurricane for her children and one of them was sick enough to warrant a visit to the pediatrician. But when she’d set off tonight, she didn’t think she’d actually have to battle the elements.

At least her other baby, Paris was safely back home with her neighbor while she and London were gone.

Taking a quick look in the rearview mirror to check on London, Callie smiled. The little girl slept peacefully without an apparent care in the world. Sometimes Callie wished she could be two all over again, with no worries instead of being a single mother with twin daughters, a heavily mortgaged house and a struggling dance studio.

Though she didn’t regret having her beautiful daughters, she often wondered what might have been if she hadn’t fallen for Terrell’s bullshit. He was the perfect partner right up until the minute he learned of her pregnancy. He wanted her to abort the baby because they both had goals they’d yet to accomplish.

Both were dancers who wanted to travel the world with their talents. Callie had reluctantly made an appointment with a family planning clinic, thinking herself incapable of taking care of another human being at that point in her life. However, hearing two heartbeats on the fetal monitor quickly changed her mind.

Terrell couldn’t dump her fast enough. He made some platitudes about being there for the girls and sending financial assistance but he essentially ghosted her and his unborn children. Callie later discovered he was living out her dreams in Europe with the dance troupe she’d worked so hard to be a part of.

Alone and pregnant, Callie had left New York to go back home to the small North Carolina town she’d grown up in, only to hear her parents say they told her so. The first year had been a struggle, but when she got a small inheritance from a distant relative, she used it to get her own place and open up a dance studio. She had a few students and hoped that she’d eventually have more, but until business really picked up, she moonlighted as a waitress on the weekends.

Life wouldn’t be such a struggle if Terrell occasionally sent the child support he’d promised, but that sorry bastard always had an excuse. He’d only seen his daughters twice in the two years since their birth and then completely disappeared from their lives. Knowing what a spineless snake he’d become, Callie didn’t miss him but it sucked that her daughters would grow up without a father.

Breathing a sigh of relief when she pulled into the doctor’s office, she shut off the engine. Once she got an umbrella out and shrugged back into her raincoat, Callie walked to the rear passenger side to unbuckle London. “Baby, we’re here.”

London opened her big brown eyes, a dazed expression on her face, before she started to cry. “Hurts, Mommy,” she whined, cupping a small hand over her ear.

Callie suspected her daughter had an ear infection. Paris had the same problem just a couple weeks before. “I know it hurts, baby. That’s why we’re here at the doctor’s office. Now hold onto Mommy’s neck while I lift you up.”

“Do I get a lollypop?”

“Only if you’re really good. Can you be Mommy’s big girl today?”

London nodded, her pigtails bobbing. “I want a red lollypop.”

“We’ll see.”

With her daughter in one arm and her umbrella in the other hand, she raced to the big stone building, trying not to get wet. Once it was London’s turn to see the pediatrician, it was just as Callie had suspected—an ear infection. The doctor gave the toddler some ear drops to ease the immediate ache and Callie a prescription for the pharmacy. Not only did London get her red lollypop for being such a good girl for the doctor, she got a purple one to take home to Paris.

Callie felt a lot better once she and her daughter were back in the car, although the rain hadn’t subsided a bit. London sat strapped in her car seat happily licking her red lollypop while gripping the blue one tightly in her other fist. When Callie had suggested putting the extra lollypop in her purse, London adamantly refused, wanting to be the one to give it to her sister.

London was the younger twin by ten minutes, but she was the nurturer of the two, always making sure her sister was taken care of and content to let Paris take the lead. Paris was the more assertive twin, but just as sweet and had her caring moments as well.

Callie didn’t realize she could love two people as much as she did her twins. People often asked why she chose to name them after European cities, but in her mind, they seemed to be the most logical choices. After all, had she not gotten pregnant she’d be in Europe, dancing. But from the moment she held them in her arms, Callie knew she wouldn’t trade her little treasures for all the trips to Europe in the world.
A girl’s trip gone wrong…

All Kaliah Williams wanted was to enjoy a fun vacation with her girls. But it soon becomes clear her travel companions aren’t the friends she believed them to be. Things go from bad to worse when a series of setbacks leads them to a detour in a town called Serenity Falls. But to their horror, they find out there’s more to this idyllic hideaway than meets the eye.

Three predators ready to claim their prey…

In a town full of monsters, no one is more feared than the Black brothers. Colt, Leland and Zeke have waited their entire lives for the right person to come and soothe the beasts that lurks within them. The right one to fulfill their every savage desire. When they catch a whiff of the fresh batch of ‘meat’ for the annual hunt they’ll stop at nothing until they catch their prize.

A game of cat and mouse…

Kaliah is captured and made to participate in a deadly hunt where she’s the prey. Her only chance of survival is to find a way out of this twisted town. But she’ll soon learn there is no escape when she finds herself in the crosshairs of three hungry predators who only have eyes, teeth and claws for her.

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

CHAPTER 1

“Idon’t think it’s a good idea, to light that up right now. We’re in an unfamiliar area and if we get pulled over that could be a big issue.” Kaliah crinkled her nose in anticipation of the smell that would soon fill the already cramped and uncomfortable car.

“Uh, would you just shut the fuck up? You’re killing our vibe, Kaliah.” Sasha rolled her eyes heavenward, inhaling deeply on the blunt she gripped tightly between her thumb and forefinger. She slowly blew out puffy clouds of smoke in circular patterns, filling the car with the pungent stink of marijuana.

Kaliah blindly reached for the window button on the back passenger door beside her to get some fresh air but the glass remained in place.

She pressed again with no result. “The window isn’t going down.”

“Because I locked it, girl.” Brianna said from the driver’s seat. “First of all, it’s too chilly for the window to be down and second, as you just pointed out, we’re in an unfamiliar area so we don’t need to draw unwanted attention. The police could be hiding anywhere.”

“But I can’t breathe, and our clothes are going to reek when we finally get out of the car,” Kaliah protested.

Kaliah waved at the cloud of smoke that engulfed the car but it didn’t stop it from infiltrating her nostrils. If this continued, she’d be just as high as her travel companions.

Nicole who was sitting next to her in the back seat released a loud groan. “Uh, can’t we just toss this bitch out on the side of the road? Who invited her anyway?”

Brianna chuckled. “Be nice, Nic. You’re going to make her cry. Besides, we needed a fourth person to help us pay for the room because Desi’s baby daddy was tripping and she couldn’t come with us.”

“Well, I’m not sharing a room with her,” Nicole declared, staring at Kaliah in a way that dared her to say something back.

“Me neither,” Sasha chimed in before taking another deep drag from her joint.

A sinking sensation in the pit of Kaliah’s belly made her wince. These so-called friends of hers had been making sly comments about her since the beginning of their journey. They’d made fun of her outfit, the way she talked, walked and her enthusiasm to be a part of this girl’s trip she’d been looking forward to since she’d been invited.

If she pointed out that they were being rude, they called her sensitive or said they were joking. It got to a point where she sat quietly in her seat not saying anything while Sasha, Brianna and Nicole laughed and chatted like she wasn’t there. It made for an excruciating 10 hour road trip and according to the GPS, the last time she checked, they had four more hours to go.

There was one point in their journey where she’d fallen asleep, and she woke up to an empty car. She was in the parking lot of a restaurant and no one had bothered to wake her up! When Kaliah had gone inside, they were finishing their meals and refused to wait for her to order food, stating that they were already behind schedule.

Hearing she was only asked to come along as a stand in tracked. These so-called friends of hers had been leaving her out of things since high school, so why would now be any different? She’d spent money on new clothes and getting her hair braided for this trip only for them to make her feel like an unwelcome guest.

Speaking up would probably lead to them all ganging up on her again, but she’d had enough. Between her empty stomach, the beginnings of a headache and their ‘inside jokes’, Kaliah had enough.

“If I’m paying the same amount as the three of you, I will also get a bed. The website says there are two full size beds in each room. I don’t care if none of you want to share the room with me or not, I will get the accommodations I’m paying for, and the three of you will just have to figure it out.

The car went silent.

But Kaliah was far from finished. The anger that had been festering within her had finally bubbled to the top and exploded. “And another thing, if you didn’t want me to come along on the trip, you shouldn’t have invited me in the first place. Or maybe you could have canceled it altogether because you couldn’t afford to go without a fourth. Don’t be mad that I’m here in Desi’s place, be mad because you’re broke. You three need to grow the fuck up. This isn’t high school anymore and I’m tired of being your punching bag.”

“Whenever I make a suggestion, you tune me out or tell me to shut up. Maybe if you would have listened to me, we wouldn’t be lost in the middle of nowhere because you wanted to take a shortcut that wasn’t on the map. Now we have no idea where we are, no one has been able to get phone service in the last half hour and the car is low on gas.”
He was my nightmare…
From the moment we met, Jackson Champion made my life a living hell. He was my enemy, tormentor, and the source of my greatest anxiety. I thought I’d gotten away from him, but he found me and now he has me where he wants me. He wants to become the one thing I must resist: my lover.

She was my dream come true…
From the second I laid eyes on her sweet curves, I was determined to make Zora Knight mine. Just the thought of her being with anyone else filled me with a burning rage. I would do anything to have her, even if it meant destroying everything around her in the process. No matter where she goes or whom she runs to, I intend to be her endgame.

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

1

ZORA

“This was a mistake.”

The chilling urge to turn around and not look back sends a quiver up my spine, yet my feet remain firmly planted on the ground. The grand white pillars of the palatial manor feel as if they’re mocking me, telling me I don’t belong here.

When we’d made it past the wrought iron gates of this estate and farther up the hill, I found myself staring at the stately red French doors adorned by a lion’s head brass knocker. Intimidating was too tame a word for how I felt at that moment.

Noble Hills is a gated community where all the rich kids who’d made the last four years of my high school existence, miserable. The streets are lined with million-dollar homes and expensive foreign cars. Each jade lawn is well manicured without a blade of grass out of place. These are the kind of houses you buy when you hit the lottery and yet they all pale in comparison to this house on the hill which everyone refers to as Champion Manor.

It's twice the size of every house in this subdivision, large, white, and pristine. This is where all the good parties had been thrown, where the towns’ social elite come to schmooze. Even state politicians come by for events to be seen and receive donations for their latest campaigns.

But this is also the home of Jackson Champion. The demon spawn who has made my life a living hell. The fact that I even came here is a testament to my stupidity. But a promise is a promise.

I managed to avoid stepping foot on this property all my life, not that I had ever been invited before now.

I note a few people lingering on the wrap around porch with bright red cups in hand. I instantly recognize a few of them because we’d shared classes together but I wasn’t particularly close to any of them. At least they don’t belong to the group of my tormentors.

Still, the anxiety that has taken hold of me in its tight grip kept me paralyzed with an irrational fear I couldn’t quite explain. I only had to make it an hour and I could turn around and go home. What was the big deal? I’m 18. An adult. I can vote, sign my own legal documents and fight for my country if I’m so inclined. What’s one stupid party?

A thin, bangled arm links through mine, and my friend leans her head against my shoulder. She stares at me with bright hazel eyes and bats her enhanced lashes. “Zora, you promised me two hours. We can just mingle for a bit, chat with a few people, and maybe have a drink. Then we can go back to my house and stuff our faces with junk food and watch Rom Coms until we pass out.”

My best friend, Lea is one of the few people I would bend over backward for. But this was a big ask, even for her. “I have a suggestion, why don’t we skip this and do exactly that. I’d much rather be at your place than this den of iniquity.”

Lea giggled. “You sound like one of those judgmental church ladies. Come on, hon. It’s graduation night and this may be the last time we see some of these people. Besides, your Dad was happy when I told him that you would be coming to the graduation party. He wants you to have fun. You don’t want to disappoint him do you?”

I pulled myself out of her hold and narrowed my eyes. “That’s low.” She knew my dad was my soft spot. I wouldn’t necessarily call myself a Daddy’s Girl but my Dad possesses the biggest, kindest heart of anyone I know. He works his fingers to the bone to provide for me and my ungrateful brother without complaint and wants nothing more than to see us happy.

When I wasn’t at school, I often helped him at the local diner that he and my mom used to own together. That place was like a second home to me, but my dad insisted that I hang out with my friends and have a normal life like my brother did.

But I preferred helping him out at the diner. So when my big mouth friend told him that we’d be attending the senior gradation party held at Champion Manor he’d beamed from ear to ear.

I didn’t have the heart to tell him that I’d rather swallow glass than step foot on this property, yet here I was because of the machinations of Lea and my fear of disappointing my Dad.

Lea held her palms to the sky with a nonchalant shrug. “You’ve managed to avoid nearly every single party since we started high school. And you already promised me you’d come with me.”

“I only promised you because you didn’t tell me what I was agreeing to first and then when you told my Dad about it, I really wish I would have strangled you.”
But when Brandi gets involved with the man who killed him, Damon can no longer stand idly by. In a desperate act to save the woman he loves; Damon makes a deal to go back to Earth to wrest his woman and their children out of the hands of a madman.

But there’s a catch…he returns in the body of Mason Collins, a man with a dark past.

Two years after the death of her husband, Brandi Evans attempts to move on with her life and begins dating, however she can’t stop loving and comparing everyone to Damon. That is, until she’s hit by an unexplainable attraction to Mason. As she gives in to the forbidden passion of his touch, someone will stop at nothing to ensure that their love is destroyed. Forever.

Book was previously titled Every Breath You Take

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

PROLOGUE

Damon hated working nights.

He had better things he would rather spend his time on than sitting in an old patrol car with his partner Rodney. He didn’t get to see the kids off to bed, and Brandi was usually asleep when he got home.

He’d have to wait until morning to get some more of her sweet pussy.

“Man, next month can’t get here fast enough. We’re going on the Walt Disney cruise. The kids have been talking about it for a long time.” He sighed.

“Doesn’t sound like much fun for you and Brandi,” Rodney commented, his eyes glued to the window.

“Oh, it will be. They have a lot of activities for adults, and with the kids so busy, maybe we’ll make them another sibling.” He grinned, thinking about his wife again. He loved her so much that it hurt sometimes.

Damon shot a questioning look at his partner who’d let out a random curse.

Before he could ask about it, Dispatch announced a domestic disturbance two blocks away. They saw these types of cases all the time, so it would probably be routine.

As he knocked on the door, however, a woman screamed, and a gunshot rang out from inside the house. Rodney called for backup while Damon kicked the door in, fearing that someone had been injured.

“This is the police! Come downstairs with your hands up!” he shouted. Rodney covered the backdoor to make sure no one escaped that way. Just then, from upstairs a large grizzly bear of a man appeared on the landing. He held a little girl who was crying and didn’t look to be more than four or five years old. He held a gun against the child’s head.

“I swear, I’ll fuckin’ kill her, just like I did that bitch wife of mine if you don’t let me out of here,” the man threatened. A gleam of savagery lit his eyes.

Damon’s gun was firmly trained in his direction, adrenaline flowing through his veins. He knew he couldn’t shoot in case he harmed the child. The man seemed drunk or high and looked desperate enough to take anyone and everyone out.

Suddenly, there was another shot; a bullet caught the man’s head. His gun and the child dropped to the floor, the girl screaming hysterically. The perp was dead before he even hit the floor.

Damon turned angrily on his partner. “Rodney! You could have shot the girl. That was reckless, man.”

Rodney walked past him, ignoring Damon and the crying child.

“Did you hear me? You could have killed the kid. LT is going to flip her lid when she gets wind of this.” Damon followed his seemingly unconcerned partner up the stairs and watched, stunned, as Rodney crouched and used the dead man’s hand to lift the perp’s gun. In an instant, his partner turned toward him with a strange look in his eyes.

“What was I supposed to do? He shot my partner.” A chilling smile spread across Rodney’s face.

It was a moment before understanding dawned on Damon. “No!” He dodged to the side of the stairs, but it was too late. The gun fired before he could avoid it and the force of the bullet ripping through his flesh sent him reeling down the stairs. Rodney, his partner for seven years and the man he’d thought was his best friend, turned on him.

Backup arrived just as Rodney stalked toward him, probably to finish the job. Damon could only lay helplessly as the life slowly drained out of him. His throat was clogged, rendering him speechless. There was so much blood. He could feel someone trying to stop the flow of blood gushing from him.

Rodney was yelling, “He shot Damon. I had to take him out. Someone save him! Please!” The piece of shit gave the performance of a lifetime. Then Rodney knelt next to him. “Hang in there, buddy,” he said, loud enough for everyone to hear.

Damon glared up at him and saw the face of true evil. The triumphant look in Rodney’s gaze chilled him further. He wished more than anything that he could erase the satisfied expression on Rodney’s face.

“Don’t worry, friend, I will take very good care of Brandi and the kids for you.” As the paramedics loaded him onto the stretcher, once again his partner leaned over him, but this time he made sure no one heard what he said. “Too bad you’re going to miss out on that family vacation.” He paused. “Brandi Mitchell has a nice ring to it, doesn’t it?” Damon suspected his partner had a crush on his wife, but he’d never thought the man was obsessed to the point of murder!

No! He couldn’t let that bastard get to Brandi and the kids! Damon tried to speak, but he could barely breathe, and his body was so numb that he realized death was close. Paramedics worked to revive him, but it was of no use.
Tamryn Smith is a survivor. She knows the mean streets like the back of her hand. She has what it takes to get out of a tough situation. She’s even willing to kill to stay alive. But when she’s faced with a new threat in the form of a tall, dark and dangerous Irish bad boy, she may have finally bitten off more than she could chew.
Seamus Haggerty was hardened by the life he was born into. Having faced dangerous enemies for most of his existence, he never thought his biggest challenge would be the very thing he swore off: love. But when he lays eyes on Tamryn, he has to have her. And he will.
But what happens when one taste becomes an obsession?

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

1

Blood.

There was so much blood. It coated the walls, her clothing and marinated her skin. Some of it belonged to her, but most of it was his. A sickening coppery scent infiltrated her nostrils, causing nausea to sour Tam’s stomach. She swallowed the bile that rose in her throat. Her hands shook and a chill ran down her spine. She’d seen death before but had never been responsible for it.

The temporary paralysis that had taken over her body slowly dissipated when she realized she’d taken a life. The rapidly stiffing body resting in front of her, stared lifelessly at the ceiling.

Tam scooted away from the corpse unable to bear the sight of it. She wanted to shower and wash away the stench that now clung to her skin. A continuous booming thud reverberated through the room. She froze. Who was at the door?

It couldn’t be housekeeping because it was too late in the day. Besides, a place like this wasn’t that diligent in keeping things tidy, as evidenced by the cockroaches casually scurrying across the floor.

“Open the mother fucking door. We know you’re in there.” The owner of that voice made it clear that his request wasn’t to be ignored.

Frantically looking around the room for other means of escape, Tam noticed the window was covered with bars. With little choice, she wobbled to her feet and headed to the bathroom. Once inside, she quickly locked the door behind her. The window seemed big enough for her to wiggle out of but upon closer inspection, she saw that it too was blocked by bars.

A whimper of frustration escaped her lips and she immediately clasped her hand over her mouth. There was nowhere she could go. Her only hope was for the possible intruded to get bored and leave.

Tam turned off the light, climbed into the tub and closed the shower curtain to conceal herself. Pulling her knees against her chest, Tam went as still as she possibly could.

She nearly jumped at the explosive sound of metal and wood splintering. Tam bit the inside of lip to keep from screaming. The last time she had been this scared was when she’d hide in her closet in hopes that her mother’s boyfriend would be too drunk to look for her there.

Once she started shaking, she couldn’t stop. Tears stung her eyes. Just when she believed things couldn’t get any worse for her, they did…times ten.

“What the fuck?” The deep baritone belonged to a man. A very large one from the sound of it.

“Who do you think did this?” Another deep male voice questioned

“Don’t know, but the boss won’t be happy when he finds out. I could have sworn I heard movement in here. The culprit couldn’t have gotten far. Let’s check the bathroom.”

Tam’s heartbeat increased so rapidly she could hear the blood pounding in her ears.

The jiggle of the door handle was enough to send her anxiety into overdrive. She released an involuntary cry and immediately bit down on her lip harder than before. Tam ignored the taste of blood that now coated her lips as tears ran heedlessly down her cheeks. She prayed her bladder wouldn’t betray her.

But when the bathroom door burst open, that’s exactly what it did. Wetness, dampened the inside of her thighs. Her humiliation and shame were now complete. The light flicked on and she surmised it would only be a matter of seconds before they discovered her.

She silently prayed that death would be quick and painless. Closing her eyes, shut Tam waited. Sure enough, the curtains were yanked off the shower rod followed by a thundering, “Who the fuck are you?”

Tam slowly opened one eye at first and then the other before looking up to see two goons who barely fit in this tiny space. They were roughly the size of grizzly bears made from solid muscle. The men shared a similar aesthetic in their dark suits and both sporting slicked back hair. The only difference between the two was one, possessed a full beard.

She opened her mouth to speak but no words came out.
Sometimes Sex is best with an ex…

A devastating break up left Riley Mason broken but she moved on with her life…or so she thought. When she crosses paths with the one man who still makes her pulse race and knees buckle, she has to reevaluate her life. Though she tries to fight it, the attraction is stronger than ever.
Ethan Boudreaux’s greatest regret is walking away from the woman he loved. When he’s presented with a chance to win Riley back, there’s no way he’ll let the opportunity slip through his fingers. He devises a plan to get her in his life and into his bed.
When these two divorcees reunite in the bedroom, the sex is hotter than ever. But can their hearts survive the second time around?

*************FULL BOOK START HERE*************

1

This was a big fat mistake.

Riley glanced around the room of merry party goers, wishing she was anywhere but here. Though there were several people in attendance she knew, Riley Mason didn’t feel much like celebrating. She probably would have come up with an excuse not to be here if it hadn’t been so important to her good friend. It wasn’t everyday a woman got engaged and Riley wanted to be supportive. Even though it tore at her insides to see the painful reminder of new love, hope for the future and complete happiness, she did her best to maintain the smile she now sported.

Taking another sip of champagne, Riley glanced at her watch wondering how much longer before she could leave without appearing rude. She’d made her rounds and said her hellos. There was no reason she needed to stick around. Her gaze darted across the room and landed on Megan and her fiancé Jackson. They looked perfect together. Where Megan was blonde and lithe, Jackson was broad shouldered and dark. They were each other’s perfect foil, and embodied the media’s idea of the perfect All-American couple. It was clear however from the way they gazed into each other’s eyes, they were deeply in love. Riley had even noticed a few partygoers sigh in awe when they glanced the newly engaged couple’s way.

She was happy for them, however, Riley couldn’t help feeling a bit jealous over how deeply committed they seemed to be to each other. Megan and Jackson represented everything she’d once envisioned for herself but had failed miserably at. It didn’t matter if she’d been divorced for some years now, the memories were still raw. There were times when Riley believed she’d healed but then she’d see an older couple holding hands in the park or two young lovers whispering intimately in each other’s ears. Then there were the nights when she was alone and imagined the two strong arms that once held her so snugly against the warm, hard frame of a man. But not just any man—the very one she was desperately trying to forget.

Her post divorce dating experiences had also been one phenomenal disaster after another leading Riley to conclude she was destined to be alone. She was cursed along with the rest of the females in her family to go through life followed by a string of failed relationships and flings. Unlike her mother and sisters, however, Riley was done with love. It hurt too much. Besides, she had settled quite nicely in her career. She made a great salary, had a comfortable bank account and owned her condo. And for those nights when she was particularly horny, a glass of wine and her battery-operated boyfriend worked quite nicely.

Fuck love.

Riley drained the remaining contents of her glass and decided she’d done her duty. She doubted she could last another minute at this party without getting too melancholy. As she weaved through the partygoers in pursuit of her coat, the arrival of two new guests at the front door caught her attention. Riley nearly stumbled when she saw who it was.

Her heart squeezed in her chest, her throat closed up and she couldn’t breathe, couldn’t move, hear or see anything except him. Ethan Boudreaux. She hadn’t seen him in years, but he was every bit as devastating as she remembered. He might not have been the tallest man at the party, standing six-feet-one, but his presence was larger than life. His tailored suit skimmed his broad shouldered, loose-limbed frame, so perfectly, Riley bit back a sigh. From memory, she knew beneath the expensive threads was a toned, rock-hard body of corded muscles. In another lifetime he would have been a warrior on a battlefield rather than the successful trial lawyer he was.

Ethan couldn’t be called handsome in the conventional sense. His bone structure was a bit too angular, his nose a little too long and his lips were more generous than necessary. But combined with a pair of hazel bedroom eyes, he had the type of face that garnered second, third and fourth glances. The way he used to look at her with that I’m-going-to-fuck-you smile had always brought Riley close to creaming her panties. Who the hell was she kidding? If he were to turn on the charm right here and now, she’d probably do somersaults for him, which was exactly why she needed to leave before he noticed her. Megan had assured he was out of town and wouldn’t be in attendance or else she would have declined the invitation. Riley glanced in Megan’s direction to find the blonde looking her way and immediately turned her head to avoid eye contact.
